  4. China is confirmed to only have 260 nuclear warheads. That's about the same number as one Ohio class missile sub. The US has 14 Ohio class subs, and that's on part of the US's second strike capabilities. Anything does to the US, the US will do more 30x over to China. China will not us nuclear weapons because they do not want to be destroyed.

  9. The US wasn't beaten in Korea. The Chinese and North Korean forces were being driven back when the ceasefire was signed. Also, took 600 thousand casualties while the US took 50 thousand. Twelve times the casualties and getting driven back doesn't sound like a victory to me.

  14. Even the Chinese government doesn't believe the 7% figure from the Chinese government. The Chinese economy is far from the largest in the world. China only over took the US in one area, and that's only because of the low value of Chinese currency, which might be coming back to bite them. Also, the US may not have as large of its economy from manufacturing as it once did, but the US still is one of the world's largest manufacturers.

  17. Even if China's new anti ship missiles work perfectly, the US can still hold a blockade out of range of the missiles. China is not Vietnam. China has a conventional military with an ethos of fallow orders rather than fight for the cause.

  18. Well, stealth doesn't make a plane invisible to radar. It just reduces the the range radar can detect planes at. The Chinese are, also, planning on attacking the tanker planes rather than taking US planes head on.

  19. Rocket, 80% of China's economy comes from exports, and with most of China's population living a little above the global poverty level, internal demand just can't replace the exports. Also, land routes just aren't going to cut it. The US has the largest freight rail system is the largest in the world and couldn't move what China would need to move. The idea of trying to move all that stuff by truck just gets laughable. The only way China can move the amount of goods they need is by sea. With out trade, the Chinese government will be looking at a lot of middle-class people who are pissed off because the Chinese government made promises of economic prosperity which they couldn't keep. That could easily lead to major civil unrest. The US on the other hand can move manufacturing to other countries, including bringing some of it bad to the US. Right now, China is in the weak position, and they know it. Everything they're doing is meant to sure up their position.

  20. The US would annex Canada and Mexico immediately and take control of Cuba, Greenland, and Japan. Russia would probably pull the old burn everything down while running away and waiting for winter. After that I have no idea.

  34. Russia would love a long drawn out war between the US and EU, so they would help the losing side covertly. Turkey is in a similar position. Ultimately, they probably want the US to win but at a heavy cost, taking Europe out of the game, while the US would have to pull back.
