It’s called a lucky shot for a reason. You would be amazed by how many fights have been won by golden bbs.
1
Points 2 and 3 are signs of how bad off China is, not a sign of strength.
1
The only reason they would win is numbers.
1
I guess you missed what happened in the Gulf war where Russian built tanks got destroyed in the hundreds.
1
As many as it takes to run out of ammo.
1
They'd do great until they hit a South Korean armored unit.
1
Finland is part of Scandinavia.
1
A week long war like what happened in the Gulf War?
1
Because it was an alien fucking with them for fun.
1
North Korea has 65 years to dig in that's the difference between the Korean War and now.
1
The Germans tried that a while back. It didn’t work out for them.
1
@kos369 fight with your closest ally or the people you’ve been trying to get away from for the last thousand years
1
Legions were only heavy infantry.
1
You’ve got everything backwards. China was the cheap labor. They’re not cheap anymore, and they’re completely dependent on imported raw materials and foreign markets to sell their good in. Also, the US could cancel all debt held by China, and nobody would care.
1
@Luxai China is the 3rd largest holder of US debt after Americans and Japan. Also, the US canceling our debt to China might set off mass cancellation by other countries. It would destroy their economy.
1
@Luxai China is not vital to the world’s economy. They’re just low skilled, cheap labor. There are lots of other countries with cheap labor. Also, the there are lots of small containers that are already at risk of not paying the debts to China because China deliberately lent them too much money. Japan would probably join in too because they hate China. If China doesn’t pay back their debts to Americans, some creditors lose money. If the US doesn’t pay back it’s debts to China, China loses its currency reserves, which it uses to manage their economy.
1
@Luxai the US has a massive trade deficit with China because China is poor and we buy their cheap labor. The rich man doesn’t need to buy the poor man’s trinkets, particularly when others are offering the same thing, but the poor man needs the rick man to buy his trinkets. No one would default on debts to the US. The US is the core of global trade. Everyone trades in the USD. There are even other countries that the USD is an official currency in.
1
@Luxai get a lot of poor people together and add all their money up; it might be comparable to a few rich people, but they’re still poor. Also, low skilled (cheap) labor is low value added. You’re only going to stay poor doing that kind of work. Countries in the EU trading with countries outside the EU use USD, and half of trade between EU members is done in USD.
1
Sadam Hussain thought the same. Go ask him at his grave how well that worked.
1
mohammad, that’s partially true, nor does it refute what I said.
1
Just 100 nuclear warheads is enough to cause nuclear winter.
1
I'm sure Russia would be able to intercept some of the warheads, but they would simply run out of intercepter missiles if any one but North Korea fired their arsenal, just like everyone else. If Russia use nuclear weapons first, I'm sure the British will hold up their end of Mutually Assured Destruction even if the French won't.
1
The only nukes ever in South Korea were American.
1
Reagan was an idiot. We still don't have the tech to do what he wanted.
1
People like you have been declaring the tank obsolete for the last century. There’s always going to be an armored vehicle with direct fire capabilities. Body armor didn’t disappear with the invention of fire arms. Abbreviated forms of armor were used all the way up to WW1, and armor has bad a comeback with improvements in material science.
1
Chinese doesn’t have letters, and Arabic numerals are much easier to read than traditional Chinese numerals.
1
The US has never had a mass mobilization? Creating a military with 7 million men, he largest the US military has ever been, and building hundreds of thousands of trucks and other thin skined vehicles, tens of thousands of tanks/armored vehicles and airplanes, thousands of ships, and billions of round of ammunition. The US loves mass mobilization if you can show a legitimate existential threat to the country, and a war with the Sovite Union would be exactly that.
1
@Superpooper-2020 I think you mean China because China is too weak to take Taiwan.
1
@Superpooper-2020 You’re thinking about China. That was a nasty power dive straight into the ground that plane did.
1
@Superpooper-2020 hypersonic weapons are just hype.
1
And the US would drop hundreds on nukes on them in retaliation.
1
A shrinking population and an economy the size of the city with 1/10th the population.
1
The only threat the Soviets had compared to the US in conventional war was shear numbers, but since the break up of the Soviet Union, Russia hasn’t had the economy or population to out match the US.
1
Their ships are trapped inside the first island chain, and starting a nuclear war against a country with 20 times more nuke is suicidal.
1
The F-15 is a gen. 4 fighter.
1
Japan was committing atrocities against the Chinese. The US would be liberating them from oppressive rulers.
1
@OmikronZeta most modern tanks are flex fuel. All they would need high proof alcohol.
1
@OmikronZeta alcohol was part of the rations. I just don’t know if it was high enough proof
1
@OmikronZeta as long as it’s 40% abv or above, it will burn; if it burns, it will work as fuel. Sure, the has mileage wouldn’t be as good as and the engine might be damaged over time, but the goal is to win the battle. There were nearly 200,000 men at Waterloo. There was enough alcohol.
1
If the Germans sent literally everyone they could.
1
@feereel we’re talking about 1942, not 1939, and it doesn’t matter how much better your systems are if you can’t kill the enemy fast enough to stop them from closing the distance.
1
That is beyond simplistic. That’s just simple minded.
1
All of their programs were embryonic.
1
YouTube backend is causing a lot of people problems.
1
He already has.
1
What the hell are you talking about? The North's soldiers are poor, underfed, and badly trained.
1
No one if ever going to be as good as USSR-chan
1
Roman legions rarely broke rank. I mean rare as in they write about it in history books because it’s so rare. When they saw elephants for the first time, didn’t break rank. A few loud bangs and bright flashes of light aren’t going to scare Roman legionaries enough to break ranks.
1
@buckbundy8642 the Romans weren’t the only ones writing accounts. There are plenty of accounts from the other side saying Romans don’t break rank, even when they lost. The only times they really lost organization was during battles like Cannae and Teutoburg Forest
1
@buckbundy8642 I went from almost never to almost never. Pay attention. Also, breaking rank was punishable by death.
