You do realize your pants match the apartment right?
2000
He must have been rich his entire life. In the states we have carts like that in some places. Especially south of where Tucker is from in LA. Looks like he has had someone shopping for him for a very long time now. This does not shock me.

Washington D.C. is a mix of old school splendor and the slimiest people you will ever meet. And I do not mean the locals.

So, while the embassy was closed, and no Americans of any kind were in it as they were recalled last year, they had a Shaman "protest" concert? Really? STOP IT! 🤣🤣🤣

I am impressed with the amount of research you put into this video. Keep up the good work.

Hey, can you do a video on what happened in 2013 that made Russia change from wanting to be on the world stage as a superpower and becoming a world pariah instead?
104
I saw that too and immediately thought of the 1000 nigerian princes that have emailed me over the years.

The 1993 booth comments made me so very sad. Most of them loved the countries around them, were happy with nothing so long as they ate and had friends, and were genuinely excited for the future. And now...yeah, that put a lump in my throat.

Those are THE best fast food ads I have EVER watched! They were hilarious. In the US, all they do is try to mitigate the damage done when the fast food industry was outed for using crap food and old oil, so they are mostly harmless. Loved this video! Love how these places are using great wordplay in Russian ads.

What a cool fern hat....It's like right out of Ocarina Of Time.....

Let me explain what happened, from the other man's perspective while you were filming and got no greeting back: He's riding his bike on a lovely afternoon. He sees long hair tied in a bun on a skinny frame with no muscles wearing a pink shirt and shorts so short Tom Selick would be ashamed to wear them and thinks, oh nice, then in a man's voice he hears a greeting. And then you turn to look at him, hairy legs and all. Just thought I'd clear that up. 🤣🤣🤣

I've never saw such sad eyes. Right at the end when you said peace. Hit me in the feels.
60
So, they took Kevin Hart's Ride Along and made it Russian. Interesting. Wait...2011? I think Kevin Hart robbed ya'll 🤣🤣🤣
54
This. Also the Latin root languages are easy to learn once you learn one and they are all easier to use than English or Russian. Might as well learn Portuguese while you're there.
46
Poor guy. I feel for you Roman. I understand you feel someone important to you has died and you have my sincerest condolences. Hopefully Lisbon and your new home will give you the time needed to heal and better understand what is going on in your motherland.
45
12:30 You are developing allergies. Go to a doctor and get an allergen panel and find out what it is. Some allergies develop as we grow older and some will be from the new flora and fauna in Portugal. Many things that grow in Lisbon cannot grow in Chelyabinsk.
43
16:32 They had to pivot to women as that is all Russia has left. It was 4 women for every 1 man prior to the war. Now it's worse.
40
Yikes. Last video was all doom and gloom about not being able to return to see your parents. Now this. And the chef's kiss to Chelyabinsk. I do believe you miss home very much. I am so sorry Roman. I wish there was something I could do for you. God Bless.
32
You know he hasn't been shopping for himself in a long long time. Maybe his whole life.
31
@teothunder3705 You answered your own question.
28
What a gorgeous lake, there has to be limestone in that water, it's so blue. Edit: After some Google-fu it seems that location did indeed have lime in it. Hence the color of the water. Beautiful.
28
I've been to Paris. It IS impressive. Paris is literally just different. No more no less. St. Petersburg blows away all west coast USA cities....It gets beat by Chicago and NY and barely in Chicago's case. London is on par as well. You are in one of the greatest cities in the world. I can feel my grandmother's spirit calling it home in my heart. She never wanted to leave. Her mother did, so she had to. She always wanted to go home. And died before she could.
28
Attractive women and free alcohol ? What's not to like ! 😃
27
Your elementary school teacher was a very caring and compassionate person for what she did for you with that paper. She saw it, knew how you felt, knew how cruel kids can be and defused it by praising you before the class ostracized you for not having a PC. What a wonderful teacher.
24
This is why your channel is so big. Didn't know you had such a big heart. Kudos Roman.
24
What, no gym membership? Usually gyms have showers, saunas and shitters.....
23
Loved the TV as a fire place, it's a nice touch.
22
When I first joined Discord, it was for Apex Legends and Fortnite. Prior to that I knew it existed, I had an account and used it for support servers but didn't really use it use it. I lost that account and made a new one at that point. However, I KNOW I heard a disembodied voice saying "Discord: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." when I signed up. The voice had an eerily familiar, almost Oxford English sound to it...
19
Dispose LOL....Roman just loaded his fridge, true bachelor style, with leftover fast food for the week. Fun fact: This video's budget doubles as his weekly food allowance.
17
Insulation, just like the leather door.
15
Thank you Roman. This was an excellent topic and video. It took me 2 hours to watch it, too! I kept pausing it and diving deep into these rabbit holes of the people and the things you were talking about. The more I looked at it, the more it gave me insight into the current war. I didn't expect that. Brilliant think piece!
15
What a mighty fall from grace. That is so sad for the people living in those areas. I had no idea it was that bad. I am so sorry to hear this. I live a life that would be considered pampered in comparison yet I live under the poverty level in the USA. It's such a surreal thing to think that what is poor here is well off to others.
14
I see a bit of the old you in this video! It was funny and made me laugh! Thank you. Good luck with your new apartment and this time I hope you get to stay there as long as you'd like!
14
Roman, after the SMO is over and the sanctions start to lift as they always do, you will find the interest on your savings account turned your 130k into 150k or so and you BETTER invest outside Russia IMMEDIATELY. Don't waste, don't spend, invest IMMEDIATELY. This has been a message from a 3x divorcee who's lost $750,000 collectively from poor love choices. You'll be ok. Edit: it's occured to me you could go back and buy a newly discounted penthouse in St. Petersburg and rent it out to subsidize your out of country vlogging endeavors. Just a thought.
14
I lived in Brussels for a year as a kid and I never once knew what a Ladda was. Although I saw them on the road, it was rare.
13
I love it so much when you speak Russian and sub title it! My grandmother TRIED teaching me this when I was a kid and I could not understand. She taught me the alphabet but I couldn't write it. Just read it. She taught me key words but I was so young. I took Spanish as my elective. I made that decision more or less flipping a coin. If I had singed up for Russian that year it would have been the 5th signature they needed to keep the program. Unfortunately there was no Russian that year unless you stayed after for the Russian club. Oh and all the people in the peanut gallery here, take note. The US had RUSSIAN CLUBS in the 80s and 90s in Junior High School and High School (6th-12th grades). And they weren't communist spy programs.
13
@jalghazi Why was Ukraine's sovereignty an issue for Russia ?
13
@Metal0sopher It's so sad that this is so correct. On the other hand, how does a population of non military go up against one of the largest militaries in the world? But here's the catch. Without the money people provide the government in taxes, there would be no military. It's what these sanctions are about. The world is forcing the Russian PEOPLE to get rid of their dictator. Same should happen in Belarus. These old men have been in power so long they are afraid to lose it. They are too old to fight and too fat to run. They are trapped so they use younger men to die for them. Hear me now or repeat history.
12
I think you can do that Roman. 9:34. I have no idea what is stopping you from setting up a legit studio room in your place and having interviews in it.
12
I do believe that remembering one's heritage is important. Lenin should stay. He can remind everyone of two things. First, what the soviet union accomplished and Second, why there is no longer a soviet union.
11
@blacktiger995 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
11
Hello Roman. The American people do not chose the president. The Electoral College does. The popular vote as it's called, what you would call the people's choice or vote represents 1/9 votes for the POTUS. The other 8/9 are votes through and from the Electoral College. While I am at it, the USA does not have a 2 party system. We have many parties. You can even write your own name in on the bottom of each vote on your ballot if you want. Or anyone else's name for that matter. Thought you should know this.
11
Dude, you got 16 new Patrons in the time it took me to sign up and become one myself, I have a feeling you'll be ok.
11
🤣🤣🤣 Get out of that box, you are not done yet!
11
@rdrrr They want the most heinous and headline worthy person in there to keep the public from guessing what they are actually up to, yes I agree.
11
Russia: You have the money to attend "Shaman" concert I see... Citizen: Yes. I am very patriotic. Russia: Then you won't mind us keeping it for the war. Shaman will not be there. Citizen...
11
Don't worry Roman, supposedly GTA VI will have fully explorable structures.
10
9:06 You are living with your long term girlfriend/fiance. You aren't as alone as you are making it out to be. Having that kind of love and support is huge compared to a true solo individual doing what you have been.
9
WOW! You really do read my comments. I am so humbled. Thank you, Roman.

It would have been far funnier if Die Hard had been translated to "Die Erect" in Russian I would have fell off my bed laughing....
