If you sell now at top dollar you'll be buying at top dollar. There's not much moving up unless you're a millionaire.
2
Sell now and rent.
2
This housing market is not at the top, it's going to keep going up... sadly.
2
What about the home you are buying? You'll trade that 2% for a 7%? That's the point, the next one, not the current one.
2
@MichaelBordenaro yessir, that's exactly what i did. there needs to be a serious downturn in housing prices in south Florida.
2
@lizzie2301 Rowe v Wade just sent the decision back to states. It didn't ban abortions at all.
2
It's odd how the welfare queens have no problems having kids, at the expense of working taxpayers.
2
You don't get how the interest rate is a deterrent? wow
2
Not everywhere. 65% of all homes in Florida are second homes. I don't think many people care who live in FL.
2
@wandak1889 A little drama, yes. Not "more" crime.
2
@greywolf7025 Yes I'm sure. I live here.
2
@Corkfish1 It's not always about that. It's creating a place to call home. The few times I've rented never felt like him because I knew it could end at any time. How old are you? Do you have wife and kids?
2
$249k seems cheap. The drawbacks are lots of stairs, no parking, and high HOA. I see this condo sold in 2005 for $255k, and again in 2009 for $195k. Why are condos in SoBe staying so low for years when all other parts of the country prices have gone up considerably? These places are cheap enough for the rich to buy them just for a weekend spot.
2
@marketingmasters3550 You sound jealous.
2
How do "migrants" get all the way to Idaho? Trump2024
2
@FraaaaaankRizzo Exactly.
2
Florida has property tax laws protecting owners who live in their homes.
2
Land on Miami Beach is very limited. Nobody has a big lot in desirable areas like that.
2
Can we go back in time 5 years?
2
Littering is so disgusting. I'm glad my parents taught me better.
1
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Sound like you could be getting rich but you want to "do the right thing" this one time.
1
@adoss7273 No, he saved thousands doing it this way.
1
The sellers like the ones at 1:35 get on my nerves, they're ALWAYS just out of reach. They were willing to let it go for $580k, then $1.2m, $945k in 2019, then $1.7m in 2021, then $2.8m and now $2.5m. Do you want to sell it or not? You're wasting everyone's time bc you're not serious about selling if you're just out of reach.
1
Duh.
1
@freeball1 When the economy went into a recession in 2008 most banks closed all HELOC accounts. So much for an emergency account.
1
@freeball1 It's very odd the banks will give you a HELOC on any home that's not your primary residence. How many properties do you have HELOCs on and how easy was it to get those loans?
1
@marblox9300 Shuddup copying and pasting. Your socialist views are better suited for North Korea.
1
You have been to many with these issues? Why did you keep booking airbnbs?
1
We are more likely at 20% or more. Tell me 5 items that only went up 8.5%. Food is up 80%. Homes are double or triple. Cars are way up and dealerships want thousands on top or msrp.
1
@RSI_50 do you REALLY think that? LOL
1
@RSI_50 So the government says overall inflation is up 20% since pre-pandemic. I bought a new truck and paid OVER msrp because of low inventory, I paid 50% more than pre-pandemic. Groceries have almost doubled, homes have gone up at least 50%, in my area they've gone up 300%. I bought a pool filter off Amazon 2 years ago, I went to buy it again and it's up 75%. The dog food I buy is up about 60%. Hamburger meat is up over 50%. I bought a porch swing in 2020 and it was $213, when I go to re order it is now $338. I bought a chair in 2021 and it was $332 and now it's $514. My personal home insurance (with no claims ever) went from $2400 to a whopping $8000/ year. Please look up purchases that you have made not long ago and see now how much they cost. I know they are saying that NOW it's only 2.5% but we all know that's a complete lie. Do you have the internet and can look up prices of anything? Ask around, talk to friends, call your insurance agent. My car insurance went sky high, you wouldn't believe me if I told you.
1
@RSI_50 Do you really believe the government? The jobs report was the biggest lie they told, but ya know they just re adjust it a few months later and it doesn't make the news. Please do a little research. They overstated the one from March by ALMOST ONE MILLION JOBS.
1
Run for office... but I'll be voting against you.
1
The Maui gov let those fires destroy native lives. You think they will help anyone?
1
Not necessarily.
1
Did she turn the keys over to the bank? What happened?
1
@edoar7202 Better than not being at the part at all.
1
Why was your credit bad in the first place and needing a rebuild?
1
if there are 145 M homes in the US and 3% are owned by foreigners... that's 4,350,000 owned by foreigners. I'll say it again... so MILLIONS of houses.
1
It's both.
1
I always go to the county website and look up the previous home price sales.
1
I heard in Cali you can carry your cheap property tax with you to 3 houses.
1
@MrEggomylego Nobody sane wants to play the CC game. Travel sucks even if it's cheap.
1
It takes time to fall, years.
1
It hasn't sold yet. Might be worth 230k when it's over. Bums right around the corner.
1
NEVER EVER. people who think theyre going that low are crazy. Take Bill for example...
1
That just means money is worthless.
1
@wizzyno1566 Printing too much money devalues the money we already had.
1
@ How old are you?
1
@g.b.miller9165 Man you dims are having a hard time right now.
