I which case, the "people smugglers" are not smugglers at all. They should be applauded for facilitating a perfectly legal route into the UK. People smugglers can only be acting illegally if the asylum seekers are declared illegal immigrants.

  44. They are arriving legally. That is why none is arrested on arrival at Dover UNLESS asylum is NOT claimed. No matter how the migrant arrives, once asylum is claimed on UK soil, the migrant is legally in the UK. The only question that needs answering is why the UK government insists asylum can only be claimed in the UK, when the opposite (only claiming UK asylum from outside the UK) would reduce the migrant boats to a trickle.

  49.  @traceymitchell6619  i agree that Orfelia is not an independent witness, but i think it likely that Jay left the airbnb, that she saw him and there was some verbal interaction between them that neither of them understood, and yes, she probably saw Jay 15 minutes later on the road. and Jay's phone pinged the tower. all that means is that jay had walked 15 minutes up the road, and a bit later he, apparently, spoke briefly to Lucy. beyond that, we know nothing, except Jay disappeared. i don't get the logic that says Jay must have wandered off the road, slipped and died. given the drugs and gangs lurking in the background of all this, makes much more sense Jay was taken somewhere else or he walked on to the safe house the 2 strangers had set up for him, if they were on his side. the 2 strangers are key. are they helping or hindering Jay in all this?
