I do not agree that Russia is a threat to Europe at all which is a point our opinion differs. But I have a feeling it was about tech/miltech capabilities of China why I disagreed.

  10.  @mindbodyinstitute2652  Russia since the collapse of the USSR was not a threat at all. It begged to be part of Europe both politically, economically and militarily. It was rejected by the USA. Documented how the US decided not to help them in integrating. After Putin realized there is no place for them, they kept the economical integration mostly as a cheap and reliable partner. Worked very well. Also declared his sphere of influence, but not played tough. US never take him seriously.

  12.  @mindbodyinstitute2652  Russia had no intention to take Moldova. It has the intention to have Transnistria, but as you probably know, independence of Transnistria was helped both by Ukraine and Russia.

  13.  @mindbodyinstitute2652  Russia uses its own Monroe doctrine, wanted neutral countries around in key areas. Ukraine was a problem when in 2008 its Nato aspirations came up by US suggested way. Remember, in 1991 Ukraine got its approval for secession as a neutral, non blocked country, even Budapest Memoranda was based and signed on that spirit.

I do not know the real capabilities of the Chinese 5th gen fighters, but I think you do not know either. What I see is that making a 5th gen is not some huge dev if there is knowledge in resources overall, they seem to be pretty fine to me. Of course I do not think that they are better than US planes by any means. But quantity matters a lot.

They move the puppets everywhere, going from one war to the other. They were behind the Ukraine conflict, too. And they reached their 4-5 decade old plan for now: completely cut the ties between Europe and Russia.

  28. @mindbodyinstitute2652  Yes, I think the global west missed a historical moment when they made the wrong decision not to let Russia be welcomed in Europe as Europe. Especially after feeding them with promises. Still there was opportunity for peaceful coexistence as Russia did not started outside wars at all like the West. But they just.. there was a meme about this like 20 years ago... 'Russia wants war. Look how close they put their country to our Nato bases'

  29. @mindbodyinstitute2652  Why? They do not need it. Romania wants Moldova. Russia wants Transnistria. But imho Transnistria is a bad call from strategic viewpoint. It cannot be defended, same like Kalinigrad. BTW have you noticed no one talks in the MSM about the situation in Transnistria after Ukraine closed the gas?

They developed own jets, too and I am sure on electronics they are in pair with US. Metallurgy...that is a different matter. That applies on several miltech stuff. For that complete manufacturing knowledge needed, reverse engineering not enough. But as I told they are not stupid and very fast learners. Compare them to India, they struggle with literally everything.
