The reason Chick-fal-a is so popular comes from their Christian values being put into their business practices. They treat their employees and customers extremely well. Way better than any company in that market. It's proof people are willing to pay more for a better experience. It's why they can even afford to be closed on Sunday and still be the fastest growing company. I thought they had been refused a license in NYC already and were told they'd never be allowed in.

Basically she's saying we shouldn't have let them keep Mexico when we defeated them. She's probably one of those people that believes we shorted Mexican when we purchased all the land. What they fail to understand is we didn't have to pay anyway since we defeated them. They should be grateful we did.

The whole "disproportionately huwite" is hilarious when you look at the numbers. It is compared to Baton Rouge, but not the make up of the entire population. I wonder if they say the same thing about a lot of places in say Alaska because black people don't live there.

So many rules and stuff are different in women's sports simply due to the safety aspect. Hockey has a lot of different rules for men and women.
58
You'll see this a lot with leftists. Just like the minimum wage thing. They want you to focus on the federal minimum wage rather than the state because the state minimum wage can be changed much more easily. You get a petition, collect signatures, get it on the ballot, and people vote. They don't want to fix what they see as a problem, they just want to complain about it and you pay them to do it.
46
I'm shocked that now that they've encountered someone that's not going to secretly work with them, they've jumped to regulations and more government. Absolutely shocked.
44
As soon as I heard that line in the trailer I was thinking, they've not been around the other races. How do they know if their feet are big? Wouldn't it just be normal to them? Plus Tolkien never said they had big feet, just hairy ones.
40
I'm really sick of southern food being labeled as belonging to a race. It's class based.
38
Exactly. This is a husband, wife, and child. That’s not what’s flooding across the border.
38
This so easily could be one of my sons. I taught them the same thing. To defend and stand up for those too weak to do it for themselves and they've both done it on numerous occasions. My heart aches for that father, but he should be proud of his son and his actions.
35
One of my sons best friends mom was like that. He's black and had cousins in gangs and stuff. She wouldn't let him do anything that even remotely mimicked them. She was all about the grades and being a good student. He's now a biomedical engineer.
33
The last time my son's friend Juan came to visit I made street tacos. It's just what I had planned for that day. I buy my groceries for the week all in one go and we didn't know he was coming until the day before he showed up. He loves them and wasn't offended at all.

@treborkroy5280 I'm so surprised by how many people don't seem to remember Obama making it a priority to drastically increase government housing in the suburbs and other areas and created huge incentives for developers to do so. I remember because it struck me as not a good idea. Not because of not wanting them there but just basic facts like those areas don't usually have public transportation for that they'll need. If they can't afford rent they aren't going to own a car either. So it would be even more difficult for them to have access to goods and services like groceries.
29
I don’t doubt that. I’ve worked for a few. I didn’t insert myself into their private life and divorce. Collude with their ex’s lawyer in an attempt to extort them never crossed my mind.
27
@jakesorrentino7230 Death penalty cases have required appeals. That's why it takes so long. There's zero proven instances that it's been wrong in fairly recent history. Don't confuse people taking plea deals with wrongfully convicted death sentence cases.
26
The ceiling bird calls.
25
I'm going to keep saying it because everyday it just becomes more true, welcome to the 80s and early 90s. Vigilantes were fairly common. Groups like the Guardian Angels became a worldwide group for a reason. They were vigilantes. When the police can't or won't do their job protecting the public, other people will step up to do it.
24
I guess pomegranates are too spicy for children. It's so unbelievably innuendo heavy no kid is going to understand it. I know. I was a kid that read it. It's not really much different than lots of poems and old stuff kids are exposed to in literature. It's a way to dodge to keep from admitting they're technically breaking the law by exposing children to pr0n. CP in some cases. At least drawn CP.
22
It was so much worse because Andrew thought they were friends.
22
That's because California made it illegal to remove squatters. It's the same laws that are allowing homeless to camp everywhere.
22
@anondabomb Wrong Roosevelt. That was Franklin aka FDR not Theodore aka Teddy.
22
Oprah would say you're more privileged than her.
21
I've seen them try the "but I have a vagina" to try to force straight men to date them. I tell them, many men don't like women that just have breast implants or that have had lots of surgeries to destroy their attempts.
21
@E_Ten Yes and no. That was his 3rd time being in that home so all the past things do is prove he had intent all 3 times. They didn't have to know about his past to suspect intent.
19
It's all good! I followed Huffington Post at one time. Then I realized they are nuts when they had an article that if you regret doing it the day after it's r*pe. That was around gamergate time period.
19
@CrAAAstastic Yes the American Dream that me and the husband achieved. From food stamps to top 10%. 6% this year, but it was a turnaround year so a lot more money from overtime. Own a lovely home with an inground pool that would be over a million in BC, Canada where my husband is from. Two sons in their 20s both with good jobs and one got married this year. The vast majority of the poor will reach middle class during their lifetime. That's the dream and it is indeed achieved by the overwhelming majority.
18
Yes several times.
18
What's funny about Kamala is she's far more Indian than black. Was even raised as Indian so all her posturing as a black person is hilarious.
18
Yes. That irritates me so much. Free black people weren't 3/5th. The Constitution never mentions race. Over 3,000 free black citizens owned slaves. Meaning they were wealthy because that wasn't cheap. Many American Indians/Natives owned slaves too and many had been slaves as well. I hope one day the full history gets taught. Edit: The King eventually outlawed enslaving the native population. To get around that, at least in Virginia, the governor removed that option from the census. So it was only black or white and Natives were put under black allowing them to continue to be enslaved. I know the history of Virginia during that time because that's where my tribe is from. The very idea that only black people could be slaves came from the King, not the colonists.

Bring back the roof Koreans

@robertnoble7554 I'd explain how ignorant your comment is but everybody beat me to it. No need to dog pile. Hopefully you learned something.
17
Yes. You can't be authoritarian and a libertarian. They don't understand it and are just trying to use it to make them seem to not have dangerous ideas.
16
@fvallo They do and voted overwhelmingly for a conservative government who promised to stop it. It's one of the main reasons they voted to leave the EU. Unfortunately the politicans lied, and in the UK there is a true uniparty. There's pretty much no difference between Labour and the Tories. I'm not in the UK, but that was an ignorant comment.
16
@HopelessDjinn This. They were about anyone that felt left out. The misfits and outcasts. That could be anything from race, sexuality, to intelligence. Anyone that’s just different.
15
@Punkertoon I encountered some of these people. Claiming people like me, a stay at home mom, had no value. I asked if they think the daycare worker that takes of their kid doesn't either. They don't even realize that's what they're saying when normally they praise them. Then I told them while they are at work, I'm at school helping their child take their reading tests and keeping them safe on field trips. It's ME that comforts them when they stumble and it's ME that's holding their hand making sure they don't get lost. That shuts them up pretty quickly. Edit: In real life I was never talked about like that. Parents thanked me regularly for being there for their kids and I was regularly recognized by the school as the model for parent involvement.
15
@yittmashups They do that because they don't want responsibility of bills, taking care of a home, etc. That can be caused by mental problems, but that doesn't change that they enjoy it. Otherwise they'd do something about it. It falls under the can't help someone who doesn't want it. They wouldn't be found insane and not responsible for a crime so trying to blame their life choices on that stuff is cope. Edit: Sorry if that comes off as harsh, but they've been given opportunities to improve their situations and reject them. Most of them have received treatment for any mental problems and refuse to fix it. There comes a point where the public has to hold people accountable for their choices instead of giving excuses for them
15
@hellishhybrid1839 lol

@therealemperorpalpatine You do realize they’re complaining that she’s been changed. Bumpy enough means she doesn’t have enough fat rolls for the activists that shame these characters. The “where her organs!” crowd. As someone that IS shaped similar to the original Rogue, we do indeed exist and I’m sick of being told MY body is harmful to others. Edit: You did not try “it hasn’t even come out yet”. That’s as stupid as “you have to watch all of it before you can say it’s bad” crap. I don’t need to wait for it to come out to see how they’ve significantly changed the characters. Particularly the female characters. It’s literally in the trailer shown in this video.
15
If you want to understand if it's bad I suggest Reikita's video on it (a lawyer) or Shadveristy on the Knightwatch 3 hour video breaking it down. It's a horrible offer. It's music business predatory kind of bad. I will say, given that Jeremy has experience in LA and Hollywood, it probably is a standard type of contract there. That's not a good thing. If you want to set yourself apart from a business you claim is bad and you're fighting against, using their practices to do so isn't a good look.
15
They were afraid there would be another RBG incident so they pushed him to retire while they held the majority to get a new justice on the court.
15
It usually does take a personal experience for people to realize the truth. It's easy to believe it's a lie when everything you read and everyone you talk to go along with the lie. It's much more difficult when the truth slaps you in the face.
14
@LabTech41 She'd rationalize it because she's so ideologically captured. Anna was already coming out of it before her assault during the Rittenhouse trial. She admitted halfway through that it was self-defense because of the videos. She said she hadn't seen them, which made her realize she was in an information bubble and started looking outside it after that. Emma would never do any of those things. Anna at least always had some integrity. Emma never has.
14
There have been several uncovered as well that the main reason was poverty and the doctors knew it. If they have something else medically going on, they use that to justify it while still noting the real reason. It's disgusting.
14
Yep. She wants to know who is spreading "misinformation" that needs to be censored.
14
In college I hung out with the theater kids even though my major was psychology. One day they asked me why. I told them because eventually everyone of them would need to come see me. Job security.
14
@L-Thatcher Except monarchies weren't created by England. They existed in a lot of places. It wasn't an experiment. The US is still referred to as the great experiment. That was the point the poster was trying to make.
14
They attempted a recall which is the legal step to remove her and a court struck it down. The citizens are doing the only things allowed them within the laws to get rid of her.
13
@johannespilvikukka6003 Technically if you take pansexual to it's farthest, it doesn't need a pulse or to be human.
13
Except according to the testimony of the nanny she’s not raising the kids. She spent all her time online and watching TV in her room and Stephen took care of them when he was there.
13
They did that in Minneapolis. The first one they sent out got shot. That ended that and they voted to refund the police shortly afterwards.
