Those that want unisex bathrooms would create what they want and those that don't would create what they want making it to where no one is forcing anyone else to do something they don't want. I intentionally used the word force because that's really the standard rather than harm. Edit: Of all the arguments against libertarianism, that's got to be the weakest I've seen.

You're body is supposed to respond before you even think. Edit: Self defense training is the same. You're supposed to train until you automatically respond to just a touch or movement before your brain can register fear and you freeze.

  12. Having had a drink drugged before I concur. It's usually already been dissolved in a liquid they can real easy put in a drink with a dropper. I applaud the attempt at a PSA, but it needs to realistic so they know what to lookout for. Nobody does that.

  14. Oh no! There's this thing called hyperpigmentation. It causes you to get dark spots. Nothing wrong with wanting to look better. If "love the skin you're in" really meant what you're trying to claim then you'd have a problem with them making just lotions because those change your current skin too. It means here's products to help you love the skin you're in. Edit: Having grown up in a majority black town, dark spots are quite common. There's nothing wrong with products that help correct that. If someone is using it all over, that's not the responsibility of the product.

  18. There is a wider problem. Violent crime is up everywhere, especially big cities. Calling attention to a place that has already surpassed the peak numbers from the most violent times in US history isn't "cherry picking". It's pointing a serious problem and the reason for it. There's historical precedent for this. There are periods that people care more about criminals than victims and large spikes in violent crime is always the result. It happened in the 20s and the 70s.

  19. You don’t know she bought it or paid that much for it. When a dog becomes trendy it gets over bred which means lots end up in shelters. That amount is going to be for a pure breed with papers. Pits can go for a lot, but I see them in the shelter everyday because they don’t have papers. Just because someone else bred the dog doesn’t mean every single person that has one that looks like it bought it or that it’s even pure. You’re making a lot of assumptions about this person and dog you don’t know. I’m a perfect example. All 3 dogs I currently have are pure breeds. I didn’t buy any of them. They were all rescued. 1 was given to us by a shelter because she was never going to find a home due to being a former bait dog, 1 we found at the dump, and 1 was abandoned at a house. Edit: The former bait dog was very timid. She was afraid of toys. It took a year to get her to stop being afraid of people except us. It took 3 years to get her to play with toys. It took 4 years, including 1&1/2 of being around the other 2, to learn to act like a dog and play with other dogs. She’s 10 now.

  21.  @martasorangeberry  The agents crazy high number was the one Jeremy referred to. In Jeremy's own video he said Crowder said the offer was too bad and to rework it and send a new one. Jeremy said they didn't. If Crowder had asked a second time (Jeremy said the first amount the agent sent was $30 a year) for more Jeremy would have definitely said so because for him it is all about the money. That's all he focused on. He knew it wasn't enough, but OMG it's so much and really fair, but it's not what he's worth and we were prepared to pay a lot more, but it was a fair offer and really good. Crowder said on Timcast his agent sent in a high number and that would be the one Jeremy referred to in his video which was before the term sheet sent. So I guess they are both lying then for some strange reason.

Refrigeration is so it coincides with the expiration date on the carton. Edit: There are a lot of recipes that require room temperature eggs. Such as meringue. You're not going to get food poisoning from it because they weren't cold.

  26. No it's not. I am a LOTR fan, and this isn't Tolkien in the slightest. So what "fix" am I supposed to get from something that doesn't look like Middle Earth, they don't speak like it's Middle Earth, and they don't act like the characters Tolkien wrote? The Elves especially are horribly depicted. They've made them extremely human which they aren't. They are immortals that glow, are very tall, and agile. They would never be mistaken for a human in appearance much less attitude.

That the employees should get all or most of the profits. It ignores that the creator is taking all the financial risk and is also a laborer within said company or business. It also ignores all the financial loss it took for the boss to reach the point they generate enough profit or demand to need to hire employees. Sometimes the employee takes more of the profits because demand is down, but they still must be paid the agreed upon per hour amount. I know lots of smaller businesses that the owner makes less than the employees fairly often. The hope is that later that loss can be made up with future profits. Take that commie simp. Edit: It's also ignoring that it's the profits that allows them to employee anyone to begin with. So the employee is directly benefiting from the profits by being employed. As to personal property, that depends on how you define it. The product is the owner's private property. Socialism believes it belongs to the employees. That's destruction of private property rights. There's intellectual property as well.

If they hadn't cracked down, they'd have that same thing happen every time they suspended a student even if it was for fighting. The kid's friends would get together and protest dragging in more kids just wanting to skip class. The manifesto part could be due to what was in it. Kids don't tend to see the bigger picture in things or be able to think ahead to the possible results of their actions. Adults are supposed to do that for them and protect them from it as much as possible.

If you're in the office and you finish what you're working on, you can immediately be assigned to something new. That's not an option remotely. That work exists in both situations it just gets started earlier in one than the other. Also when you're in the office with everyone else, it's much easier if you need something from someone else. Instead of having to schedule, play phone tag, or hope they read your email soon. That's the entire reason big offices were done in the first place. This has changed a bit with Millennials, because there was a serious breakdown in face to face communication and they've always tended to rely on texts or email rather than just walk a few feet. So there was already a decrease in efficiency and productivity, but Gen Z is going back to more traditional interactions within the workplace. Plus, you aren't the only person in the workplace and what's best for you personally might not suit everyone where you work, which also has to be taken into consideration by employers. Many people have too much going on inside the home to be able to dedicate time or find an area to be able to do that. That's why it's important to understand that only 25% or so want to remain working remotely. That 25% is demanding everyone else accommodate them. I'm fine with them looking for a new job that better suits what they now want, but also agree with JJ. Until you do, do your job how you agreed to.

The price tag is including the purchase of the rights, the cost of the actors, and they built a detailed city. It doesn't look like there was much left for costumes. Edit: They have scene where one of the new characters lifts Galadriel's hair to look at her ears to see if she's an Elf. Which means even Amazon knows their Elves don't look like Elves.

There was another small group that attempted to settle it and they didn't spread and didn't last. That's the difference. Before Columbus, only Natives had managed to spread across the land and settle it.   47. I know ASL and it was extremely difficult to follow her with those nails. The second one with long, but not excessively long, nails was much better. So she's not really "normalizing" ASL with long nails because women have had longer nails for a long time. She wants to normalize insanely long nails that basically make you unable to use your hands thus creating a man made disability.

This "will never be thin" is false unless they have a medical condition. It also depends on what you define as thin. Nobody's asking them to be anorexic, just fit and give a crap about their health. My grandmother and mother were overweight, I am not. I had times when I was due to medications and health issues, but as soon as those got dealt with I lost the weight quickly. Obviously it's not because of my genetics. It's because I don't sit on my a$$ all day stuffing my face.

  50. LotR deals with racism to a degree too, but like GoT, it's not based on skin color. Dwarves and Elves have a deep seeded mistrust of each other bordering on hate at times. Claiming racism is only about skin color shows you look at everything from a US perspective like the writers of this show. I'll remind you the biggest and most horrific act of racism occurred to people of the same skin color as the perpetrators. Because Tolkien doesn't contain US type of racism, because he was English/European, them adding it in looks stupid. Especially so blatantly. Maybe write a fantasy based on US culture instead of using one based on European culture if you want that in it.
