States can impose reasonable regulations on firearm possession and use, and many have stricter laws than Wisconsin, all of which are constitutional under the Second Amendment -- that is the point. Read McDonald v. City of Chicago. The "popularity" of the firearm has no bearing on any issue in this case. His age does, and he is a juvenile. That made it illegal for him to carry that gun. I wonder who provided him with it?

The only regulation that is never constitutional is one that deprives a person of his right to have a gun on his own property. That "regulation" is always unconstitutional.

Is that idiot also an adult? Charge him, too. Why is a juvenile automatically facing adult charges, which could lock him up for most of the rest of this century? He shouldn't be. Where are the adults in this picture? Oh, they're like Tucker, praising this insanity.

The "abusive relationship" bit is really fanciful -- they didn't have a relationship in that sense, but okay. Let's get back to what actually happened. What actually happened was an actionable defamation of one of the best journalists of our time. Jimmy (who according to you is almost never right, or occasionally right by sheer accident) defended him. Then he was threatened. In the threat, Ana even included an innuendo about his wife. You see a good guy in this picture? I don't. Except for Mate. But here is a lesson: he should have seen a lawyer. See how that's sometimes the right thing to do, ethically? When lawyers are involved, all these other parties would have shut up on the advice of counsel. I would find that preferable.

  49.  @pariah_carey  I genuinely don't understand. I've lived in other countries. Here, the big difference is race relations. I simply don't get it. Actually, I'm wrong. The other BIG difference is the influence of media on people's psychology. It is huge and goes deep. Parents have less influence over their kids here than they do in Europe. Family ties are frayed, peer groups are everything. This is beyond politics. I thought the people encouraging Claudia Conway to put everything out on twitter against her mom were wrong, too, so, . . . label me why don't you?
