TRUMP would do whatever his best and most recent flatterer asked him to do. That wasn't obvious in Trump's drone wars? Trump was the single most narcissistic and fundamentally LAZY person to be president. He lifted the ban on US funding of gain of function research at Fauci's behest. (Then they played good cop, bad cop.)

@steveharmon3293 I agree with you 99%. What disturbed me here is that the teacher accused a minor child still in middle school of displaying a racist symbol. I consider that a very serious accusation that one should take great care in making -- against an adult, much less a child. She wasn't careful. Not cool.
12
I know. If this isn't an "it," then I don't know what is.

The strategy of shifting risk on those least able to bear it is always their move. They do it for everything: health, housing, education, mortgages, pensions, disability, and disasters. It's always the problem of the individual. The political animals themselves are always set and make money for shifting the risk.

They Are Corrupt

Why doesn't a spiritual or religious pregnant mother not have a religious exemption if she believes she has a sacred duty to the child she's carrying not to take ANYTHING into her body that could possibly harm the child?
12
Is he wrong? That Netanyahu isn't wrong is what is wrong.
12
Celtic Pride Shows what you know about India! Read Arundhati Roy on that issue.
12
The irony of TRUMP appointees bringing an end to Roe v. Wade.
12
There are enough stories like this that a full-scale study is warranted. Same goes for excess cardiovascular events in vaccinated people under 50 after mRNA vaccines but not in others, including those who had COVID. There is too much data to ignore. They have to study it systematically. Responsible doctors and researchers are calling for it.
12
@RobinHood-pf2bf Oh stop. This is horrendous.
12
@JohnSpartan-117 Are you joking? Without a union, a teacher could get fired for giving a bad grade to a rich kid. What makes you think that anyone who has the task of evaluating anyone else isn't at risk: of being fired, of being defamed, of being threatened, of being let go because the security measures are too expensive? Of losing the profession they worked to achieve? Seriously, where have you been? Every inherently dangerous job needs a union. Sad that it's so.
12
But that' the threat. You put it perfectly.
11
Excellent.
11
When you read who gave Glenn the ultimatum, and made clear TI would violate its contract with him, it was their worst journalist: Peter Maass. Reminds me of Mary McCarthy, The Groves of Academe. Being the worst isn't an impediment, it is the single most important job qualification.
11
It detracts from his own good points, too, such as they are.
11
@nedludd7622 Ron said the same thing. If you think the vaccines are right for you, absolutely get them. It has nothing to do with herd immunity. It has nothing to do with anyone else's decision. Yup, calling him a covidiot is clearly false flag.
11
@nedludd7622 People should definitely take medical treatments they know nothing about. Which means signing important consent forms they don't understand. More false flag rhetoric. Are you Hillary Clinton's speech writer? Did you coin the phrase deplorables?
11
Talking the talk and then doing absolutely nothing about it is more demoralizing than not saying anything at all. AOC is MORE demoralizing right now than any Republican.
11
@low_vibration You are naive. The dollar will end its hegemony as global reserve currency sooner than you may think.
11
@rdpatterson2682 Exactly. She'll be fine by 16.
11
These corporations are countries now.
11
Daryl Davis is right about so many things: first of all, the First Amendment is not just a law limiting government, it rests on deep cultural values. Gut those values, see the rights disappear.
11
We are the only major country without Universal Healthcare, and the one with the most COVID deaths. The whole world is watching.
11
@Dan-xo9ly How could people be manipulated into taking this? The first time a serious or grave side effect was minimized should have caused everyone to pause and demand answers. Even if it were to turn out to be very unusual, we've just seen how WE will be treated if we get injured. Not to mention how good the record-keeping truly is. That tells you everything.
11
Great point. She laughs at Gaddafi's murder.
11
@sontos539 Well, drinking is up since COVID. Marijuana is available everywhere, too, what a coincidence.
11
Well, if he's rich, he gets to buy his own truth. Isn't that how it works? /s
11
"Hey, science and innovation is a great thing." "You know. Big things you wanna do that are big." "Robert Kennedy Jr. was advising him that vaccines were causing bad things." "I told him that was a bad thing, don't do that." These are quotes from Bill Gates. Sounds like he has what Brandon has.
11
Compare Uvalde.
11
@Themata you made me choke on my tea 🤣🤣🤣
11
Nanoparticle anything should raise questions. Good grief.
11
But Trump.
11
@Coonbooga He doesn't say he did, he said if he had . . . , then he would . . . . SHEESH
11
@layinlow77 We have to laugh not to cry! 😂😂😂
11
LOL, perfect. Thank you.
11
No change means things don't get worse. Fat chance.
11
A husband and father cannot be forced to donate a pint of blood to save his pregnant wife's life. We all agree it is monstrous to refuse, no argument. The state STILL cannot force him. That is because the Fourteenth Amendment protects bodily integrity and autonomy. This is implicit in the concept of liberty. Or, it used to be. I think you should be careful what you wish for.
11
In the meantime, the focus is off of Bankman-Fried. Funny how that works.
11
At this point, great guys like you are giving attention to The Guardian that they could never get on their own any more. 😉
11
At a time when we REALLY needed a laugh . . . brilliant! This is how I hoped technology would be used.
11
@MrIkesimba He was making an analogy to something we are all familiar with. He should have been clearer. But it was not a lie. Also, we know that anyone not pushing the consensus narrative will be denounced, right or wrong. When Russell Brand is making more sense than most people do, simply by calling for calm, unfettered discussion, you know we are in a real bad way.
11
@peterg76yt No, he had the requisite ruthlessness. The first time Paul Allen had lymphoma, Bill Gates used the occasion to try to squeeze him out of Microsoft. A real public health advocate, that one.
11
Well, yeah. They figure these kids learned nothing in college.
11
@martincerny3294 They should have said virus RNA. Clearly and unequivocally.
11
@jamesmorrow1646 Haven't you pulled this stunt before, goading people into providing links when you know links are shadowed (because they are hard to monitor for TOS violations), then using the missing links (pun) to "prove" the evidence must not exist. Do you think the vaccines are sufficiently safe to mandate, given their degree of effectiveness? That's the question.
11
sixmillionisimpossible When will you wake up? Nearly a quarter of the century is over.
11
Hope so
11
@historyeraserbutton1662 Are you kidding? You've heard of Jazz Jennings? Just because you have morals and your friends have morals . . . well, . . . assume it ends there, until you see proof to the contrary.
11
If the Twin Towers collapsed due to the aircraft hitting them, which is so extraordinary that lay people have no basis for negating (or evaluating) the claim in any way, Building 7 is a different matter.
