  1. My process: I consulted the MIT website for an explanation of mRNA vaccines and decided against it. It was impossible to find Johnson & Johnson because everyone wanted it at that point. I asked in person everywhere. Then it was suspended because of the clot issue. Then I started looking much more closely. BTW, Sweden suggests boosters for those over 80. Swedish kids are not receiving this drug.

  10. Not one time has he cited an unreliable source in the literature, or failed to provide a link to the study he reviews here. I grant you that not everyone reads. They absolutely should. If you think Dr. Campbell is unreliable, what do you think of Dr. Moran? He does the same, posts a lot less, and is more measured. What do you think of various European countries which no longer recommend the vaccine for younger people? What do you think of France, where asking a minor their vaccination status has been illegal since last year?

  29. Concerning all of these stories of horrible side effects and deaths, if you did not make a report, that is where I have no sympathy anymore. I am appalled by the people who jeer at those who followed medical advice in good faith and took the vaccine. They meant to help everyone. They deserve sympathy and respect. But if they were injured and no one reported it -- sorry. If you felt you should take this and you encouraged others to take it, then failed to report a serious injury, you became part of the problem. Step up and make a report. Otherwise, no one should believe you.

  30. I am frankly sick of these stories, with no one attempting to obtain legal recourse. Yes, the PHARMACEUTICAL companies are not liable, BUT medical malpractice still exists, as does conflict of interest. Any illness, vaccine-related or not, must be treated in a manner that is consistent with proper medical norms. Hospital administrators and foundations cannot invest in a pharmaceutical company, then hide the harm caused by that company's products. In the US, lots of suits have been filed, beginning in 2021. It is NOT hopeless.

  33.  @alicewynne8242  "Scientific peer review" is not a matter of trust, but of method; peer review is one indication that the conclusions drawn can be relied upon. It is not "proof" that the conclusions are correct, obviously, but it is evidence for those conclusions. It does not demand assent. I've found out a lot about the pandemic and other health matters by reading the scientific peer-reviewed literature. If you know of a better method, please share.

  35. @nevillegoddard4966  It was ironic. ALL of those foods are wholesome and healthy for most people. Plus lentils, apricots, mushrooms -- especially mushrooms. I've lived through enough food fads to spot them half asleep, and they all rely on credulity and a desire for a quick fix. Yet fewer than 30% of Americans are normal weight; possibly as few as 25%. The carnivore diet is another fad, and it will not benefit the scads of people who've embraced it as an ideology. Do some need it? Sure. And some need to eat 100% glutin-free. I don't.

  39. I had a very unusually severe cold in October 2019, followed by two weeks of extreme fatigue. I have not had fever with a cold since before puberty. Then, I had apparent COVID symptoms in March 2020, which were only mild at that time. I have not been sick since, and have not been vaccinated. I have been in very large crowds, in numerous international airports, many times since the summer of 2022. I have been exposed to COVID in other places as well. Never have tested positive for COVID; my white blood cell count almost 4 months after the apparent COVID in 2020 was normal, but unusually high for me -- it deviated significantly from the prior ten years of white blood counts, which are all about the same. I think I must have had COVID, and a coronavirus cold as well, before that. That would explain why I seem to have had such good resistance since then. Too bad public health authorities had so little curiosity about this illness. At a minimum, of course. Maybe something more nefarious was going on?

If medical personnel could approach a patient to administer opioids and benzodiazapines, it is perfectly legitimate to ask why, with proper precautions, a member of the immediate family who was already exposed to that person at home could not be permitted to visit. A LOT of people asked that question, in other countries especially. I recall J-L Melenchon, the French leftist in particular, being appalled by it.
