@best5345 If Wolf mindlessly advocated for "believe all women," please show me where. I don't think you're listening to her. I think you're equating her with every manipulator and airhead that has been trotted across the mass media -- to our detriment, sure.

15 years ago no one was being forced to "affirm" or risk being reported to child protective services, and no school was reporting anyone. This is some new crap.

@WardofSquid Someone believes this happened FIFTEEN YEARS AGO? That would be 2007 - 2008. That was the Great Recession. People were getting kicked out of their homes back then, not being sent for trans reeducation. P. S. Math is fun.

@lamaarporter300 THANK YOU

@darcynicholl Even the people who know that 2023 minus 15 equals 2008? This push to "affirm" did not happen until the last few years. I'm not sure CPS was involved anywhere in (claimed) gender dysphoria before Biden took office.

@shaun_rambaran Another math person. Greetings. 👍

@highroller-jq3ix For a drastic procedure applied to minors, one that can deprive them of their right to try to become birth parents someday, and can have other very serious consequences, including cognitive consequences, a 1% failure rate is horrible. That is 100 per 100,000; drugs are withdrawn for adults when that kind of harm is uncovered.

No one ever taxed their way to prosperity? Oh REALLY? What do you think paid for the great land grant universities and the GI Bill, that brought the greatest period of solid economic prosperity in US history? Why do people repeat these slogans? Taxes today don't bring prosperity tomorrow, no. Even building the nation's airports and highways didn't result in overnight prosperity. He's selling snake oil.

@Leo-mr1qz Well, that would put it sooner than their 18th birthday, simply because most states have a lower age of consent, and because students do need to have certain information before turning 18. I am not defending any particular curriculum, simply saying why there does need to be sex education. I believe what you say about the curriculum you know, and that it is not good. No argument there.

Pseudo-social Darwinism . . . "Lobsters form lobster hierarchies, and using similar neurotransmitters!" Hmm. And what about the origins of different species? Funny how those pesky little mammals that were running underfoot and hiding for their lives ended up dominant after tens of millions of years of dinosaur dominance. You can find better biological analogies than the ones Peterson has dreamed up, though I think we should tread very, very lightly on those comparisons. They don't tell us much.

She was right about accountability. Funny, when someone like Dr. Peterson calls for it, everyone nods. Listen again.
