That is why he delivered a formal apology, in writing, promised never to make crass jokes like that again, also in writing, and gave Ana a small gift -- SEVEN YEARS AGO. And now, because Ana does not like the criticism she so richly deserves, she brings it up. To make Dore stop "running his mouth." And she reminds him of the note wrote. And takes a SWIPE at his WIFE. It really doesn't matter what anyone thinks of Jimmy. You don't abuse people the way Ana did, to make them bend to her will. She achieved a lot of what she was after. She misjudged Aaron Mate's power in journalism, but she knew that Jimmy's blue collar cultural background and his personal trauma would make him an easy target. Greenwald did the best, drama-free take on what's important about this incident, and related it to many others, to show why it matters.

She could have had him fired, because that is always easy to do, for a good reason or for no reason, but she couldn't have successfully sued. I mean, it was crass and inappropriate. Okay. If you were capable of thinking for yourself, you would realize that Texas is MUCH tougher than that on people who do what George Floyd supposedly did, according to that bogus rumor. The defense you are parroting might have made some sense if you had seen Chauvin jump up the moment he noticed Floyd was motionless and check his vitals. Do you see that happen? Ha. Quite the contrary. And where did you get the idea you are allowed to kill a dying person? Can you put a pillow over grandma in extremis?

  43.  @socktier6334  Floyd was saying he couldn't breathe from the start? No one called an ambulance? So Chauvin's actions should have been charged as first degree murder, obviously. At no point was the maneuver he used appropriate, not even for 9.39 seconds, much less minutes. It was not only held too long, it was wrong in the first instance. Thanks for the clarity on that point.

Look, there is NO drug that has killed absolutely no one. None. Never. MRNA has been studied for at least 20 years, in the hope of curing metastatic cancer with it. This issue of massive "inflammation" is not some new thing.
