"Russia defeated Nazi Germany" - while being supplied and informed by Allied Lend-Lease and intelligence.
2
@thearchitect817 - "The USA has failed in many wars to exhibit just why it/we are the number one superpower." Here's the thing: you don't exactly need wars to prove that you're the number one superpower. Just by looking at how Kennedy handled the Cuban Missile Crisis would you get a clue. Besides, Moscow have their fair share of losses: Poland, Finland, 1980s Afghanistan, and now Ukraine would be on the list.
2
@thearchitect817 - nope, Russia is still doing so badly in Ukraine. Sure, getting Bakhmut may be fine for Putin, but they took too long and lost a good portion of their men (including Wagner) and equipment to do so. And it looks like this is an opportunity for Ukraine. Besides, isn't there something going in Belgorod right now?
2
Incorrect.
2
Except, it ain't what you think.
2
Unfortunately, if left alone long enough, it will be a problem.
2
@dboyzer1 - maybe look at Russia as well, seems like neo-Nazism is way more rampant there.
2
@hiufgterde - again, incorrect.
2
It already was leaning somewhere closer to Nazism than Ukraine.
2
Incorrect.
2
While forgetting that Moscow had said agreements and treaties with said Nazis during the Interwar Period.
2
@user3bf653f - let's see: "Insdead of live in peace, they start ww3 using ukrains as an excuse." - nope. The main draw for why the war began is the Ukrainians' desire to better themselves by forging closer ties with the EU. "Did putin ever attack you?" - tell that to Poland, or Hungary, or Chechnya, or Moldova, or Georgia. "did you help serbians when US bombed them?" - you mean, "helping the Serbs with their mass genocide?" "You did not care when Zensky shelled eastern ukraine for the 10 years" - firstly, Zelensky started office in 2019. Second, the "mass genocide of ethnic Russians" was already debunked. "West always reject russia." - something tells me you need a bit of history homework; Russia did ally with the West a few times (most notably in the Napoleonic Wars).
2
@HistorydnClarity - not even close, unsurprisingly. Besides, you forget that the US came to play when they started nationhood in 1776, whereas Russia has been around for quite longer.
2
Then why the need for mobilization if Russia is "destroying" Ukraine?
2
Except, not quite.
2
"Russia saved Europe" - after dooming Europe by training the Nazis during the interwar years.
2
Australian Jackaroo - on the other hand, Moscow essentially didn't give Ukraine in WWII not much of a choice.
2
@yo-gz8rv - except, not quite.
2
Nope, not quite.
2
@angelicoctahedron3646 "Ukraine cancelling russian language." - incorrect. Read the Ukrainian constitution. "Ukraine has multiple objects named after Bandera name" - which you can thank Moscow for that.
2
Dude, even the Soviets housed some Nazis. In fact, look at Wagner. BTW, Soviets also gasp made a deal with the same Nazis to divide Poland back then.
2
@csjmb6193 - dude, you know what Moscow did.
2
@csjmb6193 - "or are you unable to accept facts and reality?" - this line pretty much applies to you. "You are joining an evil entity" - and yet, why is Moscow still tolerating neo-Nazis within its own borders? Remember the late Utkin of Wagner infamy? He had SS imagery as tattoos.
2
Dig into Finnish history. Moscow wanted to get some slice of Finnish land via the Winter War (which evetually did, albeit not very much and with a chunk of the Soviet war machine taken out by the Finns and good old winter).
2
Not quite, buddy.
2
"Nato is evil" - which is false.
2
@palomathereptilian - "NATO is basically the group of high school bullies tryibg to sabotage countries in the Global South to thrive" - not quite. Seems you're missing a lot of contexts. "This is why y'all are so concerned about BRICS 🤔" - while conveniently forgetting that China and India aren't exactly allies.
2
@Azdroc96 - even China knows that using nukes is political suicide.
2
Which is false, BTW.
2
Nope, and you know it full-stop.
1
@TomSeliman99 - not quite. Ukraine knows that sooner or later, Bakhmut would be captured. They want to be sure that any attempts to do so would be costly to Russia, making it a pyrrhic victory.
1
@DRourk - Russia's response in the days since Finland's ascension to NATO memberships suggests otherwise.
1
@DRourk - did not require "mainstream media" to point out just how pathetic Russia became.
1
@DRourk - you know that it seems Russia didn't read any of the books you mentioned.
1
Yeah, nope...
1
Incorrect.
1
Incorrect.
1
Not quite.
1
@TomSeliman99 - are they?
1
Ahem... Polish-Soviet War and Winter War...
1
Not exactly.
1
Pro-Russia milbloggers say otherwise.
1
@mrpilkington9710 - "nato officers" - and yet, why is NATO chain-of-command still functioning normally?
1
@thereallifetold - incorrect.
1
@thereallifetold - Ukraine chose to move on and better themselves. Putin wasted that chance by launching the war.
1
@thereallifetold - seems you are lacking a bit of context behind the problems Ukraine faced between 2014 (or should I say, earlier) and 2022.
1
@thereallifetold - is it all his fault? Again, context.
1
yawn
1
@Chaldon-hl6yk - incorrect.
1
@diman7993 - "truth is on the side of Rusia" - nope. "their strong leader" - doubt. "and their strong people" - also doubt.
