@enthusiastisch1922 One reason Tommy 5 names went out to get an Irish passport as despite telling his fan base to vote for Brexit he realised what was lost. Another hypocrite.

@paulnutter1713 He gets a pension Paul. If you are talking about expenses they aren't benefits. He is elected by the 84,000 members for a set period of time. No guarantees he will keep a job after his tenure. Not sure what your problem is? If everyone had a good union ( Let's say nursing staff ) then they might not be on shit wages. I've more of a problem with MPs salaries. Liz Truss had just 44 days in office yet secures a £ 164 000 Pay packet for LIFE. Maybe, if your pay packet is lacking take a proper look why rather than try making things up which most of You tube commenters seem to do. Proves you have been gaslit by the RW media Paul.

@martinwest7250 Patriots don't need to use facts Martin.
3
@esm7708 You will also find that most tories especially working class ones like to bury their heads in the sand when it comes down to thinking that a load of toffs actually give a shite about normal people on the street. Anyone who votes labour is a communist/marxist/BLM traitor...🤯
3
@rogerbennett9641 You are now promoting Brexit party mk2 - for Stoke they lost 178m in EU grants which was replaced by 11m levelling up money. Next stop for REFORM is what’s left of the NHS to make more millions for Nigel’s mates. It’s a no from me.
3
@robmustard6484 They voted for him to keep the brown people out Rob. Especially the pensioners who are only just realising that they can't get a GPs appointment for the very same reason....
3
@CancelRevival Depends on what your employer gives you. About time that people stop comparing completely different jobs.
3
Taking suitcases down the coop for another wallpaper selection party. Now Sunaks in then it's obviously Flock that will get the nod.
3
She’s in tune with the people she speaks with at the Murdoch cheese and wine night every Friday
3
Looking forward to train cleaners getting £40 an hour under Tice’s plan😂
3
@dannygmtg Definitely. I drove a train for 33 years and was glad to get off at the end, another few years would have killed me off. Needs complete re-nationalising and the fares heavily subsidised to allow everyone cheap travel just like in Europe.
3
S Y Before we make any comments I think we should wait for the findings of the Sue Gray report.

Must be great getting 87k a year plus expenses to work one day a week.

@GoldfinchDandilion Lot's of companies were paid to keep running by massive furlough payments. Same for Lot's of people that worked in offices. Yes, some of those worked on a computer but let's be honest they didn't do their full hours. My neighbour who's an office / site manager landscaped his garden whilst on furlough and boasted about it to anyone who would listen. My point to the poster was that the core/essential workers all went to work putting their lives and their families at risk, yet he seems to believe they don't deserve a pay increase and has some weird notion that fare increases are caused by those workers wanting a fair pay increase that is above and not below inflation. He mentions tax payers yet doesn't include train workers in that bracket when some of them are paying 40% tax on part of their wages.
3
@tabularasa7775 You may be totally correct in your point with the management side of the railway but it wouldn't relate to the ones that actually keep the wheels turning and those that get up at silly o clock to get the country to work.
3
@tabularasa7775 You make some very good points. On the railway there's far too many managers and unlike the days of old when you worked up through the grades gaining experience along the way they are now 22 year old uni grads who don't have a scooby in an environment as fragile as the railway hence why it's up the wall most days. All about KPI'S, targets and rushing things thru.
3
@lindacurrie8817 Better to be far left than far right imo. Must be a horrible situation disliking or hating people with brown skin in the full knowledge that one of them will be taking care of them towards the end of their life...
3
@henners9747 Agree with you re the budget slashing but that’s mismanagement by people that shouldn’t really be in those jobs anyway, and yes the 0.5% houses built in 2020 is shocking which has nothing to do with Labour whatsoever. I too believe in state owned utilities - look at EDF in France with just a 4% increase for their people but again it’s all been sold off piece by piece by the tories.
3
@lloydnaylor6113 I'd take higher unemployment over inflation at its highest in 3 decades ontop of the cost of living anyday.
3
@michaelathanasiou2030 Thatcher was Savilles best friend not Starmer. Stop spouting bollox you've seen on fb.
3
6 figure salary for being a useless Cnut.
3
No it doesn't. Eddie and Mick both recommended to the members that they vote to leave the EU. The biggest lie in history totally missed.
3
Won't happen. Infrastructure can't cope with it. Look at the Elizabeth line. 4 years behind and 4 billion over budget. If they were going to bring in Driverless trains then you would have thought they would have started with that line.
3
He wasn’t a racist. After all he wanted people from the caribbean to come and work here in the NHS. That was before he changed his mind realising they were black.
3
@steffanjennyburrup5801 If after the last 13 years you are still in support of the current government you are either very wealthy or a bit special.
3
@irishmade8136 Lies.
2
Most of these people don't need blinkers as their eyes are very close together anyway🖖
2
Another silly comment John. I joined 33 years ago. So am I supposed to work for the same wages then rather than now. You should get in touch with Jacob Rees-Mogg as he would love someone like you.
2
They aren't asking for 20%
2
Imagine these nuggets being in charge of the nuclear codes?
2
Funny how a supposedly qualified lawyer didn’t realise that the immigration bill put forward wasn’t compatible with the ECHR. But hey ho let’s just push it through anyway and tell the Daily Mail readers to stay angry at people seeking asylum but not mention that if we were still in the EU that they would have to stay in the first safe country they arrived in. Maybe they could call themselves “ Expats “
2
Surprised he didn't blame everything on the Dover - Calais crossing.
2
@tombartram7384 Train drivers don't earn the same as a lot of city bankers. How do most of those people get to work?...
2
The picaninny with a water melon smile and lady who looks like a 3 year old did her eyebrows must be kept away from plug sockets at all costs!
2
That poor sofa.
2
Yes, but dont forget that he's single handedly replacing 20,000 dibble even though his predecessor got rid of 21,000 fully trained over a 6 year period. Those invisible bridges are marvellous too.
2
@Nikos169 Have you not yet realised it's not just about pay? After all these months too...
2
@ktu668 And how would you know if you've never done the job? Daily Mail perhaps.....?
2
@Nikos169 There won't be any teachers or nurses left the way things are going. Hemorrhaging staff everywhere.
2
@Tryagain563 Not defending anyone but there's showers at depots. He could always get a shower there before coming home. That's what I used to do, or as I do now and go to the swimming pool everyday. Saves me using the shower at home.
2
@wideawakerealist2141 Someone's getting rich. Needs a proper public enquiry.
2
Is that the 100k from The sun or the 100k from the Mail? You also forgot to mention the 26 weeks annual leave plus free first class travel anywhere in the world.
2
If you need to be told why you can’t be very bright.
2
@nbaballers2277 Think it will be a bit harder to get rid of qualified train drivers but in these times who knows. I hope you stay strong for yourself and your family. I got stitched up by a manager that I had known for 25 years and was at the christening of one of my kids. These people have no morals. Regarding mental health - make sure you talk and don't be afraid to seek help. I did and it helped me no end. 👍
2
@michaellindley4500 Probably not Michael. The myopic rarely do.
2
@jonsouth1545 Your comment is a broken record Jon. You've been gaslit by the media and it's worked. Did you go out and clap for NHS staff as well??
2
@paulnutter1713 If you're in construction you won't be poor me thinks. Most of my mates are in building and loaded. Shit wages = Nursing and education. I have both in my family. Unions. I was a member of both RMT and Aslef for 33 years Paul. On the railway if you aren't in a union ( despite what some papers will have you believe it's not obligatory) you are chancing it. Hard job to get but very easy to lose. That is in terms of management will always try and put blame on the core workers for any problems. Not sure why you think Lynch's job is cushy. Have you done it? If not, how would you know? Would your deduction be from what you read in the press? If you work as a sparky ( especially anything to do with PAT testing ) then you will be set for life. Your post is typical of most of the comments here. Too many people getting caught up in incorrect info about peoples wages rather than the real problem. The RW press are doing their best with feeding you people crap. I'm surprised that anyone who can qualify to be an electrician be silly enough to get caught up in the press doing it's best to turn the working classes against each other.
2
@stephenhill545 Didn't matter. As soon as she reached hell she immediately closed furnaces 1,2, and 3.
2
@royboy565 Yep. Let’s blame Labour for the last 13 years. Default numptie answer.
2
16 seconds in and immigrants are mentioned. Then the Councillor comes on and starts talking gibberish.
