Meanwhile as a man, I'm just trying to get by and not be noticed lol. You get trouble when you get noticed. It's like the Japanese proverb, the nail that sticks up get hammered down.

Men: get powers, use them to help others at their expense and become heroes. Women: get powers, "NOW all my enemies will pay! Die!" and they are still the hero somehow while doing tons of evil villain stuff. Captain Marvel breaking Don's hand and GTA-ing his motorcycle, because he talked to her, that's supposed to be the HERO...the fuckin' VILLIANS behaved better!
10
Wait, you mean I GET TO EAT ALONE AT WORK, what a privilege. Of course she complains.
10
It's like a civil war, no matter who wins, everyone loses because you're fighting YOURSELF. If you defeat yourself, how did you win lol?
10
Here's my test, I use this all the time in my life: You've asked me to do something, I ask myself "If the person asking this was the love of my life, my wife, the mother of my children, would I do it?" If the answer is no, then why the hell would I do that thing for YOU? Think about that. If I wouldn't bend over backwards like they're asking for someone I know and like, why would I even consider doing it for a stranger or coworker? I think people need to ask themselves that question before asking someone something. "Would I expect someone I really care about to do this if I asked, no? Then why would I expect a stranger to?"

If you've ever had younger sisters, it gets liberating when you start treating all women like a little sister. Her dig or attack, you laugh, not get angry, because it's cute you're trying to hurt me. Adorable. Keep working at it lol. I have six sisters, I know the tears are always fake, I know it's always a lie, if the tricks worked on my I'd have never survived childhood.

The response is always to remember, Male Thirst Is Infinite. Even a 0.5/10 woman WILL be found by someone.
9
If it's consensual, it's the fault of the persons. It's why I never got angry at a man a woman cheated on me with...he didn't force her, so it was consensual, meaning SHE made it happen. The other guy is man, I COUNT ON HIM to exploit any opening, it's on HER not to open up to him. "If she can't keep her legs together, that's her problem" -MY OWN MOTHER

I keep seeing other wealthy men in their 40s talk about renting...I'd be down if it wasn't for the whole going to prison for prostitution thing part of it. What's the work-around for that?
9
Remember men, you're not hers, it's just her turn.

Water system director, and all my workers are also firefighters, and we're on the Mississippi River...in an emergency like this they can use salt water, or river water, but it will basically destroy the fire equipment. What they can do is fill tankers from the ocean/river, truck the water to the scene where it's needed, and dump it into giant swimming pool type deals called drop tanks or drafting tanks, then it's pumped into the fire trucks and pressurized to be sprayed on the fire. Salt water and untreated river water are very corrosive or can have debris that can damage pumps and tanks, that's the only real issue. When life is on the line F the equipment is what they tell me, and I agree.

Chris Rock stated it the most succinctly: "Feed me, fuck me, shut the fuck up".
9
If people are even asking the question of if you are menacing or not, I don't want to associate with you, regardless of your personal characteristics. That seems like a pretty super-normal position to reasonable people.
9
Fall head over heels is hard to do when you are committed to not marrying anyone you haven't dated 5 years, lived together at least a few years, and don't believe in divorce, like I do. It astounds me people who get married in months or a few years, no surprise it ends in divorce! I have friends I've known decades that surprise me, and I'm not banging and living with them lol. Are people not DELIBERATE anymore? It's your LIFE, take it seriously, you only get one.
9
If I looked like Tom and had his resources, I'd have 25+ kids lol, and probably want more. Otherwise what's the point?
8
@TheNitroG1 all of that is depressing as fuck because none of that matters. Should be you like her, take her, done. It ends, you both move on. Finances, personality, career, none of it should matter in reality. I keep saying I'm looking for the woman I quit working to be with. 40 years looking.
8
I get a lot of heat when I say I don't want to passport bro because I want kids that look like me. How is that a controversial idea?
8
No, then he just finally BECOMES a man. Used to be that stripping of everything was done by the tribe, as part of a rite of passage.
8
I get it, the media has pushed it for decades. I grew up watching Seinfeld and Friends, so as a growing boy I thought it was just normal for unmarried adults to date and bang a few different people every WEEK, every episode. On those two shows as examples, every character was always getting with new people, guys and gals, daily, then lament it, and on the next! When that's normalized it seems normal.
8
I was so confused you started talking about eating her out and then there's a waiter and I need more sleep.
8
For sure, I've tried MANY times to talk myself into being attracted to a woman. Always fails.
8
And this is the problem with workplaces today it seems, in 2023: I should have little to no knowledge of your lifestyles, politics, race, gender, to complain about or watch for. BECAUSE I'M AT WORK Am I the only person who still goes to work to get AWAY from politics and religion and all that personal shit everyone is so obsessed about?
8
Come to middle America, I own my house and farm (inherited) and I'm debt free, but my household expenses INCLUDING FOOD AND UTILITIES AND TAXES is $15k a year. That's my expenses. That would really not change that much if I added a few mouths to feed. In some city rent would eat all of that, so it's crazy to me people keep living there. AND I have my land farmed every year by my large-scale farmer neighbor and that makes me like $10k/year, so living is actually quite cheap IN THE RIGHT PLACE. Figure this out, women.
8
My career mentor was doing the job 20+ years before I started, now after almost 10 years working together we've both learned a lot, it's a huge advantage. Institutional knowledge is an infinitely valuable commodity. He retired a few years back and came back to work because we needed his skills AND HE MISSED THE WORK. He came back part time at lower pay just to have something to do.
8
Lol, imagine your parents advice to their kid, in their 50th+ year of marriage, to their ONLY SON: Don't get married, never have kids. Thanks for the advice married people who birthed me. What do I do with that advice, self delete myself? It's always the people who already have what you want telling you you don't want it. It's easy to sit on top of the mountain and throw rocks at people trying to climb up behind you, telling them it's no fun up here where I am.
8
In fact remembering back, I LOST my vacation time that year, 200 hours worth of it, with zero compensation, because of someone else's CHOICE.
8
Worse, like kids they toss the gift aside to play with all the empty boxes lol
7
Gotta stop being so EASY and WEAK, men.
7
I'm just wondering who wasn't there already? I've felt that way since about middle school. Probably a result of being raised by a man born in the 40s.
7
Does your system feature redemption? Them: no Me: then why would I volunteer into a system where I'll forever be the bad guy? If they're going to write me off, I In turn write them off.
7
It's probably true that legalization of prostitution in the US like many other nations would probably alleviate a LOT of our systemic societal problems. It would tank feminism overnight.
7
As a man I complain constantly. Difference is it's in my head, and the idea of whining about most of it just seems like a counterproductive waste of time. That could all be action effort. It's amazing how much of life can be resolved by remembering to apply "Speed, surprise, and violence of action" thinking.
7
Notice the advise to MEN is NEVER to not get married, not ignore women, not focus on career, not refuse marriage.
7
As a conservative, Nooooo. Avoid the religious at all costs, whichever religion, christian, Muslim, Wokish, all crazy.
7
Women, IS a man texting you, AT ALL? THEN HE'S INTO YOU. Women, is a man interacting with you AT ALL outside of you being a cashier, HE'S INTO YOU! There's no other reason for him to talk to you, and he won't for any other reason. Easy to understand. I learned this from all my sisters lol.
6
They want to find the best, I want to find the most reliable lol.
6
I'm a millionaire with a six pack and a 30 year old chubby chick shot me down on Bumble once we started texting because "Ugh, an android user, red flag." Yes, I have only the $1200 communication brick, NOT the $1500 Apple communication brick, obviously a terrible man.
6
Everyone in the Diversisub!

One of the greatest lessons on human nature came from a fictional doctor: "People lie" -Greg House
6
@eyenou8096 right, and his stunning behavior that wowed her? He talled to her like a person, he set up a date, he did all the stuff we learned was just common courtesy to treat everyone as a kid in the 1980s lol. To her that was above and beyond. The bar apparently really is that low. I think women are just used to zero effort and when they meet someone who treats them like a person it throws them off.
6
@HateDietPepsi or too few...half the women I've been with turned me down for dating after that one night stand, and I hate that, I felt used. I thought it meant something, I wanted it to. Oh well.
6
Abortion is the ultimate childishness.
6
@Thomas Laguna ok, but where does the quick and meaningless hookup happen in that? I have things to do lol. Not trying to get married just to get off lol
6
Back in 2007 I took Sociology in college. Day one the professor said unless you agree that 1) there is no such thing as 'The individual' and 2) that the sole reason communism has failed is the corrosive influence of exploitative capitalism, you cannot succeed in this class. So I walked out and dropped the class, wtf lol?
6
This is great for men when you think about it, "Hey bro, sent you the batch of Tinder Porker matches I got for you to approve/deny". "Ok cool, let me just check....yeah I'm vetoing all of those, too fat, too old, not blond enough, I want this one myself..."
6
@muhdiversity7409 I've thought that too, I do all this work, and all I get at the end is a woman.
6
No, once you stop chasing women you can be actually AMBITIOUS. I'd be happy making $20k year chasing, but not chasing I want to make millions, because now I have the time and energy to grow for ME, not to attract anyone. My goals are big IF I imagine never finding anyone or having a family.
6
I had a woman on Bumble not too long ago tell me "I AM difficult, I WILL deliberately push your buttons, and you WILL hate me, but it's worth it". So when she stopped responding to texts, I took that as her just being difficult, trying to push buttons, so I gave her the space to do that. Alone. By not responding. It's been 4 months lol. I'm patient. It's interesting how big of a reaction being non-reactive can generate.
6
@Aklemvaeo I remember that at 20, finding out the girl I was with my first time said I was her 7th, so probably 20th.
6
Just throwing this out there, if I missed a year of work because I was in jail for any reason, it's entirely understandable I'd be fired. And if I worked at a place that let someone go to jail for a year and come back, while I have to still come to work, F THAT place. Be logical here. I've had to work fucking double hard to make up for a drug addict coworker who should have been fired, but instead got a 90 day all expenses paid rehab vacation, and I got no vacation that year.
