  4. I had a 'friend' recently telling me, almost demanding, that I need to date single mothers, 'grow my family' he said. I said I'm only interested in having my own kids, and now that I can afford to buy new, why buy used? He didn't like that, and told me with a straight face "You can't choose who you love, if you met the right mother and fell in love you'd raise those kids like your own, love just happens!" And I'm like Bro, not you or anyone else can MAKE ME LOVE SOMEONE, sorry. If you can't control your feelings, which he can't as he married and divorced a stripper out of High School, had kids with her, then was widowed by the older single mother in his second marriage. It didn't end the friendship but it ended me ever even remotely discussing that topic again.

  5. Hey, as a 39 year old man, I've been saying that for 39 years lol, "It would just be GREAT if anyone ever just liked me back as much lol". I've said this for a while, a perfect 10 that just tolerates you is ugly as fuck next to a 5 that WANTS you, actually DESIRES YOU. Not 'she's settling' or 'he's good enough', but 'back off he's MY man' type of want. We crave that because no one ever gets it, very rarely.

  6. Single mothers are like the question people never think to ask when they interview for a job: why is the job open? If it's an attractive position, why did the previous employee leave? There has to be a reason. Sometimes you find out it's because the job has horrible conditions you don't see until you take it on. It's the same with people.   36. My brother-in-laws previous wife kidnapped their children and fled to England where she has citizenship. There is no custodial extradition with the US, but the UK authorities granted her a restraining order against him that prevents him from even entering the UK. She's had his kids for almost 30 years with no legal recourse. He has GREAT-grandkids he's never been able to meet. That's the kind of education I got from other men lol.

  43. I may have an unpopular opinion here, but I'd put my immediate family at a higher priority than a wife. Family is always first, and first family is first lol. It seems crazy to me when I see people estrange from their parents/siblings because "they have to put their wife first". I can get a different wife/gf. My parents and siblings are irreplaceable. By the same token if we had children they'd take family priority over her (and probably anyone else). I guess it loops back to a man's honor code as you mentioned.

  49. Obvious question, if I'm a childfree man, why do I need a stay at home wife? I'm a single childless (not childfree, huge difference) man, and my house is just fine sitting empty when I'm gone, I do my own household chores because I'm an adult...what would she do sitting all day? While I work? NOW, exception, my older sister never wanted or had children, she's happily married almost 30 years now, and they own/operate a very successful HVAC business, ans her full time job is managing the finances of that. Her husband's full time job is everything else, doing all the actual work stuff, and it works great, they both go into the office at 8am, leave at 5pm, and they're doing great. She'd go insane staying at home all day lol.
