Yep, coworker with like 3 failed marriages finds out I'm single, 40, with a good job and own my house, soon his old GF is showing photos of me to her old friends and they're REALLY interested in dating me, lol. I'm like bro, she's 42?...look at the women I'm shooting down on the apps, I'm saying no to WAY better, I'm only looking for a wife and kids, she's too old.

All the wealthy people I know work like 25 hour days, 8 days a week, 400 days a year, and then some overtime on top of it, WHILE running marathons and bodybuilding, THEN being present for their wife and kids and mistresses. The poor people I know do little to none of that, takes a lot of drive. You have to value yourself enough to deserve that success before you'll be willing to work how it takes for it. That's how I lost 130lbs in 24 months. I finally felt worth the effort.

  7. I'm noticing a very telling theme: Men are wrecked that their woman is leaving them. Woman are wrecked their men are NOT leaving lol. You divorced him, why would you want anything? You killed that person, your spouse died when you killed the marriage, why are you mourning the thing YOU pulled the trigger on.   9. it all goes back to WHY. WHY am I doing this, why am I AMBITIOUS when I have no real purpose to be? Ive started doing a LOT less in life when I applied first principles thinking, it turns out MOST of the things we do in society as people, SO much of the time we spend, is all about families and getting laid. Sex SELLS, and if you stop caring about sex, ALL the selling starts to FAIL with you. Why do I need or want a giant house, to look better to get laid, why do I want a flashy car, to attract pussy, why do I want that better job title and different digits on my paycheck, to brag to women and look better than other men. You start naming all the things you no longer really care about because you see they're only about sex and money, the less you do those things. You start REALLY thinking what do I WANT, not what does society or other people or what I think other people want, what is important to ME?

  14. Same for men. Once Facebook hit, it was over in college. FB would get you laid, unfortunately it was also getting everyone else laid too. I remember hooking up with my dorm neighbor in college, hottest woman I've ever been with before or since, and thought wow, I want to pursue this, she's amazing...saw her two days later, her roommate is like "Oh, you want to date her...ehhhhhh, about that...she got with like 3 other guys in the two days since you..." And she did, she was still logged into Facebook on my laptop, there's the messages, here's guy 2 apologizing for ruining her sheets. Frustrating. Disappointing. One night stands that are good suck, it's like you get one single hit ever of this amazing drug, I'd prefer not to indulge if I can't lock it down.

  16. I look at it as if she wanted to, she would. I'm single and available, I want kids, I'm in shape, I'm wealthy, I think I'm handsome. If any woman wanted me, they'd have me. It literally is as easy as asking. I'm 40 and that's never happened, so they don't care. If they cared they'd take action. The thing that bothers me about passport broing is this: If she is good enough for ME, Mr millionaire Us traveling abroad man, if she's hot and traditional and a virgin and educated and all that, WHY IS SHE SINGLE and available for me? THAT woman in a traditional culture would be with the best local guy already, I would imagine. What's wrong with her that no one local wants her? If no locals want her why is she perfect for me?   20. Dating women abroad was easier in the US if you went to college at a school with a lot of international students, like I did, University of Missouri-St Louis. I knew like 3 women from the US when I went there, hundreds from Europe and Asia though. Here's what I learned: I'm rich by US standards, on paper, they're WEALTHY by a global standard. EVERY student studying abroad in the US is from a very wealthy family. I met women who were cute and unassuming, nice even, then I find out her dad is a Chinese PLA GENERAL, that's why despite the one child policy she has a dozen siblings, they're Party Members, they're exempt from ALL the rules. She almost got pulled back to China because her parents discovered she got a JOB, WHY? Do you need more money, why is one of OUR kids WORKING? It's beneath you. That's just one story lol. The Middle Easterners I knew were a whole other crazy story. I've never felt more poor as a millionaire American than hanging out with international students.

That's why my bro in law started his HVAC business, then irony, his SOLE client now is a massive billion dollar corporate power company, but when they have a job, it's a 2500+ billable hour job. His last contract with them is a full-year install job of wall units, the materials alone his cost before their 100% markup was a quarter-million. You call their business number and it goes straight to voicemail with the message we are no longer accepting new customers, if you have an existing service contract please ask to get scheduled, current service wait time is 4-6 months so plan ahead! It's a terrible problem to have to be TOO successful you can't capitalize on it.

  24. I'm 40, I remember back in the day, it was always women being the ones walking around saying hello to everyone, greeting strangers, smiling at people, just being pleasant. Working to make other people feel good just as part of their life. My mother was the type to go out of her way to randomly greet and say nice things to strangers. I can't count the number of times I left her at a door while I went to get the car, she had trouble walking without pain, and no joke every time I'd be gone a minute tops, I pull up she's met a stranger, bummed a smoke off him, they're laughing, and she's writing down the address of that persons kids to send them baked goods at the holidays because his son is deployed to Iraq right now...I don't think she ever met a stranger, and if she did, she'd be the type to be 'Hey, why are you avoiding me, you have a problem?' If I had even 10% of the social magic my mom had, I'd probably be a Senator as a man, but no, socially awkward.

Like I said about the UPS strike we almost had: just two years ago, society almost collapsed globally because of the covid lockdown, the economy was wrecked, millions died...and that was WITH the Amazon showing up on time next day every time. I have rejection issues from being abandoned and discarded by the one woman that should have loved me at birth, my mother, so zero trust in most women. So when I think about getting with a woman I know it'll just end in being left because it always has. Women leave me, men pick me up and support me. Repeat. I'm tired of it. All I've ever wanted was one person who both wanted me and stayed after they got me.

  30. I have 4 male coworkers and there are 9 marriages between them all. The oldest is in his 50s. They can't figure me out, I'm 40, single for a decade, no kids, no marriages or divorces. I can't figure out how they rack up all of that carnage, hell the one paid half a million in child support over 20 years. And they're with MORE women now, it's insane. My mom abandoned me at birth, my only real gf left me before we could get married, dumped me at college graduation, so I've been done. I want a big family, all the women who want me hate kids or are too old. At least I'm wealthy lol.

I'll start, I'm 40, I'm a millionaire, I'm debt free, I'm ready and able to retire, and I feel like a failure because I'm single, never married, and childless. TO ME, success would be having a family, regardless of all that other stuff. Actual love and commitment, your own kids, I can't buy those even if I become a trillionaire, they can only be real if they're FREELY GIVEN to you. So before you start predicting failure, tell me what failure IS. I know insanely wealthy successful people that are called failures all the time.

If she has kids not interested, if she wants no kids, not interested, before I even see a photo. SOME of us are GOAL ORIENTED and want a future. Having a degree and no kids and no exes is somehow a red flag for women in a man these days. I have a coworker, mid 50s, twice divorced, always complaining about his girlfriend, whose house he lives in, whose car he drives, who takes his paycheck...I asked Don, have you tried telling her NO? He's like, what?....I never thought about that! He's started talking back to her and things have gotten better lol, I red pilled a guy! On the other hand, his own daughter is trying to blackmail him for money, but that's a different problem to work on.

The VA will pay me $35k a year to care for him like I already do, while I still work my $45k/year career job, so that's $30k a year into dividend stocks. Retired myself at 45.   49. $1000/month is what I pay to live in Missouri. I own my house, my farm, and I'm debt free. Food, utilities, insurance, taxes, all that is about $13-14k a year, all told. I have a farmer grow crops on my land and my share of the profits is about $13k/year. My money I earn from work is pure profit, and I'm working on getting a remote job now that'll double my income with no more work than I'm already doing. I'm 41. You can get here, in the US. Cut costs, save, buy dividend stocks.
