OK that's terrifying that nurses like that are SO LACKING in curiosity they refuse to learn how a hospital works. What else are they slacking on?
I had a friend who went to Harvard pre-med, Stanford med school, very accomplished, very prestigious, MD. He practiced medicine for one year and transitioned to concentrating on hospital administration, because, he told me, as a Doctor, I can help one person at a time, thousands of times. As the admin of a hospital that HE runs BETTER than it was, he get's to do ONE change, one time, that helps tens of thousands of patients. He's dedicated his life to helping patients, so his goal was to find the fastest, easiest, best way to help the most people in the most amount.
That meant giving up his dream of being a practicing physician, so be it.

My rent was a struggle back in 2014 even at $600/month.
So I moved home to the paid off massive farm I grew up on, now it pays me $1000 profit a month averaged from my row crops, soybeans this year. I expect yield enough to feed something like 10,000 people for a year from my harvest (probably in China). That totally covers all expenses for the year, food, utilities, and taxes and insurance.
So I start debt free, expense free, and I work a full-time municipal job as a dept director and water treatment plant supervisor, only $40k after taxes but it's all discretionary, I invest most of it in dividend stocks, so I can retire around 50 at the same current salary in dividend income.
Just gotta make sure I don't do anything stupid like fall in love or some shit and lose it all

I just got a new coworker, same age as me, 40, and he's retiring from 20 years in the marine corp. We don't get it, it's a dead end job we're all trying to escape from, this guy is gung ho and even says the money doesn't matter, he wants something to do, so we're like great, he got his full retirement pension and now we're his retirement project, fuck.
He's married and anti-children, we're all like if I was him I'd take like 5 years off and live off your free money. He says naw, he's never taken a vacation, won't now, and took home books worth of stuff about the job to read on his own time. WAY too much effort for a $15/hr job.

The way I see it, if we NEED women for combat, they'll ALREADY be IN combat as everyday life, because if we have to reinforce mainline forces with women, it means we men have been OBLITERATED already and we're desperate. It's Germany in 1945, the fierce main Wehrmacht was gone, the industrial base bombed out, they were filling ranks with all they had, little boys and elderly men, with hand tools and old weapons, because it's all they had left.

Here's her problem, all her bad B friends, as a man I see that and think they got that, they're fine, they have it handled, they don't need or want me, so I'll go where I AM needed and wanted, OH LOOK, women that are NOT bad bitches that WANT to join up and take my help, how ATTRACTIVE.
My dad told me the reason he was hard on me and most of my sisters, but not one in particular, not because she was his 'favorite' kid or something, no he explained, it's because she doesn't NEED the help. She was the sister that had perfect grades, honor society, was a super-type-A go getter. She didn't NEED him to ride her to stay on track, like the rest of us did, so we got that instead of her. WE were sort of his favorites because we got that extra attention of being underachievers lol. And as an adult she's told me that was isolating, a lot of pressure.
So to me, I see a woman that's super successful, that's great, YOU DON'T NEED ME, YOU GOT THAT, so why would I help you? I'll go help a woman that needs me. Damn sure successful women don't do f one to help their fellow women.

Depends on the state, f your boss, skip all that union BS, go take a one week class to get your backflow device testing certification, you now have a license to print money.
Find a local city with a mandatory backflow preventer ordnance. Look around, see those HUNDRED THOUSAND HOUSES over there, EVERY ONE needs their backflow preventer certified YEARLY by YOU, for $50 a shot, and the job takes 10 minutes.
If I wasn't running a water treatment plant I'd be doing that right now. I've known guys that had that as their sole business, on their own, $100k cash a year with like $3k startup.
