  7. Last time I dated was like 2004 and that was a situation I NEVER see anymore these days: my friends told me about her, told her about me, and we met and asked each other out, and went from there. Preselected, social reinforced, accountable to the friend group. I miss all those things.

  12. Just saying, I manage a plant of 4 men. I'm the sole single man, I work 10 more hours a week than them because their family pulls them away from work. I work holidays because I want them to be off for their kids, and I make double time when I do.

We have a contracted tester certify ours every year, he's here 20 minutes with 10 minutes of shooting the shit, he charges us $300 for that. PER BUILDING. For all I know he's doing 10 of those jobs a day every day.

  24. Meanwhile I'm DAILY getting recruiting postcards that cities send out to hundreds of us qualified operators. I'm a licensed water treatment operator. Every large city in my state constantly is begging me to work for them. In a state of 6 million there's only 480 of us with my license, to run the whole state. Of those who are open to working 'contract' and do consulting, there's 50 if I answer my phone, which I dont', so 49 lol. Without them there's no water. Not many people to walk away to collapse everything, wink.

  27. Lol, I switched to eating like that and it tripled my food cost, that's all high end stuff these days. It's not sugary or processed so it's expensive. Lost 130lbs in 2 years on keto carnivore though.

There ARE amazing comeback stories, and RDJ is a great example. i remember going into Ironman 1 thinking "They supporting guy from Weird Science and Ally McBeal is going to be a superhero, OH-KAY, this could be a disaster." Now it is impossible to imagine the character being personified, in comics of the past and movies today, as anyone else. It's like Hugh Jackman and Wolverine, he became the role so well people read comics from before he was alive and see Jackman as that character in their head.

  39. Smoking is way harder because you don't get a jerk off break several times a day where all your coworkers go outside and circle up, but it's perfectly acceptable to do with with smoking. I had employees in a previous workplace that complained the smokers got breaks they did not as non-smokers, so they were allowed air breaks.

  40. I was 307lbs June 2021. I was 175 June 2023. I'm 178 Sept 2024. You can do it. My tips? Carnivore, keto, and medical cannabis. Eat less move more. A lb of fat is 3500 calories, so do the math. I kept a 500-600 calorie deficit for two years.

I know people who look at each other and get pregnant and not want it, over and over and over, and I know people who want kids to the point they're half a million in on IVF already with zero results. And they're in their 20s. Other example are in their 40s lol. I myself never really went after women all that hard because I was an accidental teenage pregnancy, and I didn't want even the chance of putting another boy like me through that by CHOICE. So I waited. Now I'm 40, alone, and desperate for a family, and wish id sowed more wild oats, forgot about condoms, and just had kids and dealt with it. It's not like I did anything fun instead.

As an American i always heard of Dubai as THE global HQ of degeneracy, that's where you fly your private 747 to get in your 100 meter yacht with 300 bought white girls you had Epstein like people traffic you, and thats just the daytime, the night life gets WAY wilder.   45. If you have kids you are never single. You are in a committed lifetime relationship with your kids. Any partner after that can never be more than a side piece. Relationship was for the other parent of your kid(s).

  48. It always amazes me seeing all these people who PROUDLY can't, don't, won't cook. Everyone I think I've ever known fell into one of two groups, people who can cook, and people who admire them because they can't cook. I've never, not once, had a single other human say "Oh, you can cook? Haha what a loser!". It's instead almost always interest, oh hey I like to cook too, what do you like to cook, and then you talk about food for, like, 20 years. I have friends like that, humans have bonded over food perhaps more than any other activity because we all have it in common. Cook or not you have to eat.
