  1. What if the AI bankrupts global society in a GOOD way? Example, the new trillion-dollar AI cures cancer, and a host of other diseases, amazing, astonishing, human life span doubles! And the standard of living CUTS IN HALF because now there are WAY more people living 2-3x as long as they did, now there's no food, no scarcity so no one works... We forget prosperity can be just as disrupting as poverty.

  9. As an American farmer, it's laughable a lack of immigrants will impact my grain operations...we can't afford migrants lol. Most mass scale farming in the midwest is done by family business. No employees other than family members. If they had to meet a payroll they'd be instantly bankrupt. The margins are too low. It's why one farmer has to have thousands of acres of grain to make a min wage salary. Let me give you an example: I lease my land to a grain farmer each year, in 2024 we grew 70 acres of soybeans for them, they cover all expenses and we get a 1/3 share of the profit. For and entire growing season, our share was $7000 profit. That's it. For us it's supplemental income, for our neighbor the farmer, we're just one of DOZENS of plots like ours he and his family works to make a living, to pay for the FLEET of semi trucks and trailers that haul that grain, the $100K trucks that haul in the equipment and seed, the $250k tractors that do the prep and planting. You see these 'millionaire farmers' and they're there because they're massively indebted.

  15. High School, Junior year, everyone was in AWE this senior guy who was pretty damn cool was dating an elementary school teacher. She was an ADULT, she was like 24 lol. He was 18. Age of consent is 17 in our state. School admin couldn't do anything about it because she wasn't one of his teachers. THEN I went to college, got a student job, and had to take an all day course on the ethics of dating your students lol, full of scenarios like "Person A is an undergrad student in the College or Arts and Sciences, and they're dating Dr So and So in the College of Business, is this ethical?" As long as they're not in a position of power, the answer is yes, as long as everyone is adults and there's no power dynamic, date whoever you want was the guidance.
