  12.  @Cartamandua  Precisely this. Deliberately so. Impossible to distil all the reasons why from 25 years of research. Tip of the iceberg and perhaps the most palatable reason is that it's explicitly geared to 'manage' ill health conditions, not to heal the poorly person. The resistance to realistic support for scientifically validated, comparatively inexpensive, integrated healing modalities is tacitly unshakeable.

  14.  John Ludwig  I tend to agree. My point was to illustrate that the sheer pressure of numbers is unsustainable whether the incomers are purple, turquoise or yellow with blue spots! That is, it's not a racist issue. Having said that, you're right, the Dutch, Swedes, Norwegians, Danish, Belgians, Finns, NW Russians, Poles, Ukrainis, Hungarians [oops, I missed out Germans, some of my forebears were German immigrants, as yours, from your surname??] etc etc. can settle in quickly and easily and have been doing so for many decades. Their cultures are similar enough to ours. However, you should have seen what a Somali taxi driver did to my son's arm when he held his hand out for the change he was due. This is not acceptable behaviour in any western civilised nation. My shocked son vowed not to get into a cab with a Somali driver again. so perhaps the lack of assimilation goes both ways....we have so little in common in some fundamental rule of law ways.

  20.  @king638  I confess, I enjoy this level of discussion for its own sake. But I'm also acutely aware that 'we' represent no more than about 5% of the population. It's no use for this tiny number to be well prepared with well-reasoned arguments if the rest of the population is clueless as to how to repel the wokist onslaughts. Two things, 'we' need to translate exclusive arguments into plain language so that they are useful for those who cannot follow this level of discourse (let's not be coy about this - who you listen to is less about choice than ability to understand what others are saying. That and level of education). Above all, we have to prepare/arm and carry that large section of the population with us. Our fellow citizens are sine qua non in this culture war. Secondly, much as I love all the intellectualising, there comes a point where practical actions are necessary. Wokery has been active in capturing the institutions for years now. We need to catch up very quickly and formulate and put into practice tangible counter measures. It looks to me like women are in the vanguard in this. Please note, that nothing I write is a literal call to arms. This is an ideological war, as such 'we' need to develop coherent language and action plans that are accessible to all.
