More Georgian citizens died in the war . Also depending on how you look at it Georgia was completely justified in wanting to take back Ossetia as it was a part of it during the early 90s , before that it was a part of Georgia from 1918-1921 before the blosheviks invaded and even before that. It is quite ironic how you accuse me of neglecting evidence whilst you also refused to accept the judgment of hrw on the grounds that it was a corrupt western back organization when hrw also accuses usa of mistreatment of prisoners not mention all the other things it does

  44.  @ernstschloss8794  abkazia was an invasion there were some disputes but nothing that major until russian forces moved in there through the north .south Ossetia on the other hand is a bit more complex cause it was kind of civil wary period so there was dispute and then russia moved in and took over south Ossetia. it was divided up but then things never really got rolling so russia just stayed there
