@lanzelotmackenzie7328 do you really think Ukrainie is nigh incompetent that despite having the firepower the man power the training and the logistical advantage doesn't have the military capacity to defeat uprisings in 2 regions with the local population more or less being split and roughly 50% supporting them .
1
Ossetia is a part of Georgia thus its ok to attack
1
@hakimshah8397 it did in 1991 and it's legally Georgian . The entire world except Russia agress to this decision
1
@hakimshah8397 soviet union invaded Georgia . South Ossetia ended up Georgian because it had been Georgian since the beginning of history
1
@hakimshah8397 abkhazians made up 17% of the population abkhazian A.r . Stalin considered himself russified . You can look up his talk with the Lithuanian foreign minister in 1940 . Our independence was legal . Abkhazian and ossetian ilegal and we didn't conquer either one of them
1
@hakimshah8397 constitutionality . Their independence was unilateral which is only legitimate in either cases of colonialism and or genocide . Neither of which was going on . Also our declaration of independence didn't mean beheading people or skinning them alive. I was talking about 1992 after that abkhazians committed ethnic cleansing .
1
@hakimshah8397 if you go far back enough you must acknowledge that everything east of sokhumi was held by the principality of samegrelo and was taken by abkhazia who either sold Evey Georgian there into slavery or killed them . Complete independence for abkhazia is as unjustified as making it just another region of Georgia . It's a historical habitat of both Georgians and abkhazians thus the autonomous republic compromise is the best solution . Russia's self serving interventions do more damage than good .
1
@hakimshah8397 you're comparing apples to oranges . You're ok with me taking money out of a bank by loan but not ok with me robbing it. I mean if Georgians are just colonial residents how come there are bridges in abkhazia built in the 11th century with Georgian writing in them . Ever heard of grigol mokveli . The duchy of tskhumi ? Sanigs? Georgians have an extensive history within abkhazia way before Russia . Georgians and abkhazians must act within the established legal framework . It was the abkhazians who violated this framework on July 27th 1992

When was the last time USA attacked Mexico
1
@Cactusnolia Castro came into power by overthrowing the government too. Nicaragua had all sorts instability , still less damage than Ukraine
1
@Африканскийпожиратель source ?
1
No I can't hear the other side . Anyone who doesn't suck off Russia is a troll . Russia is the best thing to happen ever and it had done nothing wrong ever
1
Uhh when did it become russias decision which nation join what ?
1
And then you wonder why you're seen as the bad guys
1
The rebels said they'd shell the area
1
Too much rt ?
1
Uhh and not with conflict in the 90s
1
In that case Russia should pull out of Ukraine
1
Depleted uranium isn't radioactive enough to cause long term birth defects
1
Uhh when ? In 2008 we didn't commit genocide .only 162 ossetian civilians died and that even includes the one which were killed by russian forces
1
You give up a region of your country
1
@therzal they repelled Kiev . You're wastly overestimating Russia . Ukraine can fight for years
1
@docprune9922 sure it was . That's why Russia sent its best troops there . Russia lost admit it
1
@docprune9922 USA took Baghdad with 30k men against 45k Russia tried to take Kyiv and got its ass handed to it .
1
To gain back Georgian territory .
1
It's not the last line tho . Lyman and rivers behind bakhmut exist too . But probably aren't going to be needed because russians aren't taking bakhmut anytime soon
1
If Russia is so fond of self governance then why doesn't it free the north Caucasus?
1
Still an ilegal move no negotiating no international courts no turn over
1
Russia had invaded georgia Moldova and chechnya that's 3 nations Ukraine has invaded no one

Saakashvili wasn't in power durring the 90s
1
@mitsospouliezos6289 saakashvili wasn't in power durring the 90s . Read a book
1
Authoritarianism is a cult . He implements populist policies and exploits nationalism often time prioritising short term gain over long term progress . A stronger leader isn't the same as a good one
1
Provide sources
1
@Африканскийпожиратель for example casualties
1
@gortschinedits8131 maybe because attacking another sovereign state is bad
1
@gortschinedits8131 its Ukrainian territory the people there if they feel threatened can leave . (Russians there loyal to Ukraine aren't attacked ) Russia doesn't have the right to disrespect internationally recognised borders .
1
@tatianalyulkin410 what does that have to do with anything?
1
Because having military force in a part of a country with out its permission isn't an occupation
1
@DaveDahuh so is Russia and so has it done some unsavoury things
1
@DaveDahuh Russia also has bases in abkhazia, south ossetia , Crimea ,Armenia Kazakhstan ect so does russia have bases outside of its borders So was the us invitated by the Kurds
