I look at my home country's news occasionally - I smile.

If they ever let us out! I joked with my wife about 5 years ago that we should buy a boat if we ever REALLY needed to live but couldn't. We're not laughing now. Who would've believed this could happen?? We are away before the Autumn lockdowns!

@mucyoshami8058 seriously you think no other country has access to capital or a banking system??? There’s over 200 countries outside the US - a great many with far more open, safer and easier to use banking. I have an app on my phone where I can transfer money within 15 seconds, I have access to equities and other investments in many countries. I think booking an international air ticket and opening your eyes would be a good move for 2022 - have you heard of the financial centres of London, Frankfurt, Singapore? A great deal of international trade is conducted away from your shores.

@JC-ee6pc It's just a government dept - I don't think it's a conspiracy. I've worked for central government on IT projects - the mismanagement is totally appalling, so I'm not surprised at the inefficiency of the UK government's response. If they are trying to usher in a new world order or a reset, there's no way they can even organise a communications strategy or laughably Boris's wifi working correctly..

We are moving to Portugal this Autumn from England. Thanks for the video! I would say you've touched on a MAJOR block to nomad lifestyle - my personal advice, remove all the barriers... "I have too many clothes to be a nomad", "I want to see my friends", "What about language?", "What about my art club"... once all barriers are removed - then add the magic... "We could spend next weekend at Raffles if we lived in Singapore", "We could live by the ocean if we lived in Penang" , "We could enjoy all year round springtime weather if we lived in...". Certainly watching videos of others doing the nomad lifestyle helps greatly. Organising/moving is stressful but it helps to be married to a project manager!!!

Plenty of options for a visa without half a million. Thailand? DTV?
2
We travelled extensively before making a decision.
2
Yes, personally I would not recommend London - raining, grey, crowded, expensive, heavy traffic, tourists - normally!
2
Enjoyed the video as always... Wimpy Balkans??? On my next visit to Serbia, if I'm ever allowed out of England, I'll discuss with the locals in a Novi Sad bar!! ; )

There seems a lot of audience comments on this video - all good apart from Bitcoin investment advice!
2
Nomad Capitalist no problem I’m sure your audience have dealt with scammers before. Good video, got everyone thinking
2
Too late, the city gates are closed.
2
I agree with your Penang comments.
2
I thought he was married?
2
Looking in, from the outside it seems as the novel Atlas Shrugged is no longer fictional. Who is John Galt?
2
Gleneagles Hospital in Penang is a wonderful place - we'll go there for our health examination when we invest in our MM2H visas - when the program opens up again.
2
Sri Lanka has a similar longterm social visa program like Malaysia.
2
Uruguay.

@Wise101 understood
2
@saeedyaghoubi331 I do not have a US passport - so I guess I do know what I’m talking about.
2
@JA-vz1nl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1foufgg0X0 He's certainly not in a wheelchair! Enjoy!
2
@rodtim2857 I’m not sure what you think embassy staff do for you. It is not like Hollywood. Don’t believe me - ring any embassy abroad and ask for help, make sure you ring working hours only.

I'm interested - why Bournemouth?

We completed the 'DO' part of the exercise - we did a traffic light system... GREEN WIN/WIN... AMBER OPEN TO COMPROMISE .... RED LOSE... 29 GREEN each and one AMBER each... I think that's a WIN/WIN!
1
@Bluelu69 So, someone with £10 million a year income - should pay 50% tax, like middle income? Or are you saying they should pay £25k a year - like a middle income tax payer?
1
@Bluelu69 A lot of countries have 10% tax - Dubai now 9%. I guess the UK has a lot of debt, a costly military, corruption, HS2, the list goes on. I'm happier outside the UK. We left in 2022 - just couldn't take the day to day nonsense. Not going back. Stuff just works here.
1
@unknowninfinium4353 Has ALWAYS been VERY hard. I do not think it is an option.
1
@775.- It was nice to visit but unfortunately we did not feel welcome by local people when the UK voted to leave the EU in 2016.
1
@Michal_Sobczyk Which continent does the UK belong to? Asia? America? Oceania?
1
@jennifer-oc6io I agree very badly managed.
1
@vikinggeorge7007 He's talking about golden visa, not taxes.
1
@TechWithAdil Caribbean passports within a year... Malta is speedy but expensive. I heard Panama but still takes about 5 years. Paraguay might be faster if you get a good lawyer. Cambodia? But not much good for visa-free travel. Might be better Turkey?
1
Are any election really fair?
1
Seen some videos recently on Kuching - looks good.
1
HASMAWATI HASHIM thanks for the information
1
@cosmichealth3907 Why?
1
Why do you think US citizens cannot travel to and enter China? Just travel there as you would any country.
1
@freefly1 We can also open an HSBC account in our own country and that gives us access to their network worldwide. I don't know if other banking organisations offer the same service. Might be worth asking, Singapore is a major hub and has many financial organisations there.
1
Good time to invest in Istanbul?
1
Good video, not something I would pursue but an interesting change to the usual 'face to camera' videos.
1
Jersey is nice but I think I might suffer on such a small island. Had my honeymoon there about 35 years ago.
1
nice place.
1
We both love 'our' country - Interesting statement. Also interesting response.
1
@cookmaster3626 Thoughts on Sarawak MM2H? It's just been reviewed. I believe Sarawak is somewhat of an autonomous region. My wife and I were considering before this week but now we probably wouldn't even bother visiting for a holiday.
1
Borders closed. MM2H visa suspended currently.
1
@nomadcapitalist ☕!
1
How strict are immigration generally on the 90 day rule - is it per year??
1
@SmallManBigWorldGlobal We use both systems.
