Don't tell.

Even the old EB1 Civics had that problem...
1
Welds better than me too. I had a welding job dream last night. Very scary.
1
Man, you look happy and RELAXED. You earned that.
1
An island called Enema Rear? Might give that place a bit of a miss, sorry, no how matter how beautiful it may be. Sounds like it would give me the shits.
1
Serious question - it's an ancient vehicle, so why not spray the fasteners with some lubricant goodness before even trying to undo them? Might make life easier, and it generally works for me...
1
Funny how they print all that DOHC 16 valve shit on the rocker cover. You can only see it when the engine is so far apart that it's irrelevant. Effing Chrysler. (Or Daimler - Benz in this case).
1
Is the engine in that a distributor or separate coils? Condenser if it's a dizzie...
1
Yep, been there, done that. Frigging TJs, especially. Gotta build the things upside down.
1
@darksuns7384 Really? So what do you drive now...
1
@rustynail7866 I believe that's the big difference - looks fairly obvious from the clip.
1
@randybeard6040 I had one of those. Ghastly car, sorry.
1
PTs were a fun idea, badly executed. I had the same problem on my WJ Overland. Left it parked for 2 days with the radiator cap off, and it cured itself - airlock?
1
Crimp like a madman.
1
God forbid that anyone ever fitted a drainplug to the trans pan...
1
8 nuts of the windage tray, and 7 back on???
1
I had a thing, (once), that looked like a plug socket, but was full of metal needles. - you dropped it over the stud, and no matter which way it was turned, it gripped and removed said stud. Not so certain it'd work on horrid soft alloy.
1
What a shit of a process.
1
Modifying the thing probably would have voided the warranty. ?
1
"Copious". Very good word.
1
But you pour stuff so well!
1
And the direction indicators don't work on German cars. Apparently.
1
Re the evap line glue - it's likely a thing to make factory assembly "foolproof".
1
Great video.
1
Never mind the scan results being unreliable, (the tricky and inconvenientpolicy of "encrypting" them is a dirty trick - BMWs are unreliable, IME. Super nasty cars.
1
@miguelrocha1880 Ok, I'm glad that you have had a good experience. I haven't and neither have several friends. To my horror, I have just discovered that the Citroen C3 I have parked in the driveway has one of a "new range ofsmall petrol engines that PSA Peugeot Citroën developed in partnership with BMW. These "Prince" engines have double overhead 16 valve camshaft, on-demand oil and water pumps, and BMW's patent injection and ignition technology." - Wikipedia Faaarrrk.

Pretty low mileage for that sort of issue.
1
Is that battery crud caused by overcharging? I can't stop it from happening. We have 2 of the same cars - one, the battery goes flat, the other gets the green stuff on the positive terminal only. Perhaps I should switch batteries over??? Shit - they want $1200 for an alternator and say they're unrepairable. Well, I took one apart, (a second-hand sacrificial unit), and it doesn't look super different to any other alternator I've ever seen... Annoying, so have a solar trickle charger on the one that dies, and guess what? It doesn't die anymore, so likely a faulty diode allowing he battery to drain. Just a pain in the ass to remember to hook it up when the thing's going to be parked up for more than around 3 days. Dunno. Solar charger good. Green crud bad.
1
"See what we've got to work with here..." IME, nothing.
1
That is a YJ, dude.
1
"Stab away from yourself". Good advice to ponder further while imprisoned, you mad individual... All good, clean fun.
1
I'm not keen on all those grinder sparks so close to the fuel tank...
1
White heat. That's terrifying. Never drive a modern diesel in long grass, then...
1
And it's back. ?
1
Cracked windscreen RHS?
1
Easy to watch, so you've fixed it - and the car.
1
What's the deal with electric liftgates? Are we that unfit that we can't open the things ourselves? Convenience? I don't think so when this shit happens.
1
Free and loose. Just like my ex.
1
I had a Honda Odyssey. Once. I hated that thing. I drove it a few times, and scrapped it, the POS. My Accord US wagon was great, but the H.O? Never again.
1
The "Print things for actual no reason department" Mind you, the may have a publication on cotter-pins; the history, styling, installation and removal methods. Could be a thrilling read.
1
UNFORTUNATELY it's just water. For the owner, anyway. Hence all the destruction on the fittings. Coolant might have prevented the entire problem. Saved some bucks by using water. Now you gonna pay!
1
Level in radiator too high.
1
Should have been called the Ford Rotator.
1
Man, that coffee looks like weasel-piss. Poor you.
1
Fisher-Price . Saved a lot of people from becoming dumbasses.
1
Fit for the crusher. Sad.
1
You sure you're not doing it back to front? I generally hang them loosely from the top, and then am free to manipulate everything downstairs. Still a bit grumbly, but not THAT bad?
1
Oh, NOW I get it. Weird and horrid.
1
Nasty cheap parts.
1
I like you, man. You're no hack. Keep that sad old thing running. I'd pay $400 for it...
