This is why In the old days the romantic pauper raised the king, Duke, Earl or Lord's bastard children. The man of means still wins. He enjoys the woman and then discards her to the romantic hence the term "white knight". This is why in modern times average men will run to store on Valentine's Day and top tier men do not even bother. The top tier men have multiple options for a wife. Lower tier must take the scraps and fight amongst themselves using romance for a wife. This is why in modern times women are turned off by "nice guys" cause they know it's the tool of the desperate

In the animal kingdom the male does some funny dance or shows plumage or beats up rival males or whatever and the females sit back and pick the best suitor/Victor. Human females are no different. They will always have the freedom of choice. Men must be chosen.

Given the opportunity I think most of us in this thread would love to have a harem of gorgeous fit women. Society frowns on that so even rich men don't do it (Hugh Hef was the last). So what happens now is serial monogamy . The rich man can rack up a notch count of top tier women with zero effort. When the woman becomes a liability (clingy, emotional, demanding commitment) he will gladly "lose" to a romantic nobody who will now be stuck with a depreciating asset. Do you think Tom Brady is going to remarry a 50 year old woman? His exes BF is the romantic who will be saddled with his middle aged ex wife and children.

This is what I tell young men and women today. Dating is NOT an even exchange. Marriage is. Romance is another word for game. The word game comes from African American street slang. Romance is game. Telling a woman what she wants to hear has always been the tool of the user. If a man has no intentions of marrying a woman he is using her for her femininity. All women will feel "taken advantage of" because there is no security to back it up. Back in the days making the wrong choice based on "romance" was life and death. Now a days the only penalty is either being used or single motherhood.

Therefore women will be miserable with average men they resent or share the top tier guy. The arguement of "men need to do better" is crazy.   31. I'm assuming you are young. Gen Z or a millennial. I'm Gen X. If I may I can explain. Just as women get bored with emotional available men, men get bored with sexually available women. Men also know that commitment to a woman gives her leverage. In this modern day and age dating ONLY benefits men. We men get what we want (physical) and women get nothing in return. The old strategy of making him wait no longer applies due to sexual availability of most women. Yes. We will wait but then just add you to the roster of women when you are ready. The answer is obvious to solve this problem for women . Date within your league . Take an honest assessment of your SMV and date parallel . If you date up in 2024 you will be on a roster .

He said it's a losing strategy. Over the years I have grown to see that he is right. Let's say you are a teacher she will automatically think you are safe soft guy. Cop well then you must be authoritative. Don't ever let anyone put you in a box. Once men start guarding their professional lives (stop putting it on your social media and dating info) women will have to get to know you.
