  30.  @papabear9481  There was a trial in Toronto of one Ernst Zundel. He was charged with "spreading false news" with regards the assertions of the holocaust. The transcripts, and the book by one of his defense lawyers, make interesting reading. The one fact that stood out was the absolute lack of any authenticated evidence to support any allegations of any holocaust. While the jury in that trial found Zundel guilty, the Supreme Court of Canada, which is a "politically correct' body after all, overturned that conviction.

  34. Most people believe that they did very well indeed considering the 10 to 1 odds against Germany. How long would you last in a fight against 10 punks? 30 seconds? The Germans managed to hold off the jackals for almost 6 years. Pretty impressive by anyone's standard.

My father was in correspondence with them until after the cease fire. And I read enough of the causes of the wars from numerous authors. The only conclusion possible is that the Germans were choir boys, and Hitler was a saint, compared to other countries. I write my views in conformity with my readings, and discussion with my relatives.

  40. The issues were not that simple. There was no more fuel for the vehicles, and the German troops were overrun. It was a valiant effort by the Germans to keep Europe free of communists and capitalists. But a 10 to 1 advantage was impossible for Germany to overcome. The most courageous lion will succumb to a pack of jackals.

  41. Good question. The answer is propaganda, and Greuelpropaganda of the worst sort. Anyone in the USA who opposed the war and spoke out publicly was demonized or imprisoned. Newspaper offices were shuttered or burnt. And most of this propaganda was organized by the British!
