  7. Anybody buying now is still a fool. They are catching the hot potato. We need to wait for a year to let this play out. Ppl who bought in 2022 have already lost their equity. It’s the 2021 buyers who are still smug. They will lose it too by next spring. I am not buying until 2024. Will continue to save for a bigger down payment rather

We are in the same boat and renting is working very well for our family as our son is very happy and that’s what we want and not that mention the mental peace. Right now everyone in my Husbands company is super scared as they are about to layoff 10% ppl. We are not worried at all Thanks to not putting all our money in home purchase down payment. Happy coffee ☕️

  14.  @worndown8280  Interesr were at 2-3% for us regular folks and 0% for them. This is stil unfair and they can get cash where as regular folk need to go through a ton of processes to get qualified for a loan

  15. So many ppl will again FOMO in this month just cos the rates dropped a tiny bit. If we all wait for another 6 months to let this play out we will know the reality. It’s not time yet. Even we don’t want to lose everything we have just for a stupid reason

  16.  @RH-lg9uc  exactly many won’t talk about this. They just say they got under 3% rates. But many ppl had to over bid on their house by 50-60-80k.. so they are all underwater. And we homes by builders were selling for way over asking with huge waiting lists and they wouldn’t give us the time of day. Many are already underwater

  19.  @paullt5111  you disgust me with your attitude. No one marries cos others are marrying. No one has kids as everyone around them are having. Everyone has different timelines and needs. Just because interest rates were low doesn’t mean Everyone should buy. Down payment is also a huge factor. Before this madness happened my target was 2024 and fortunately it still is now. I will buy when it’s right for me. Investors just made it hard for common ppl who wanted to buy in their timeline. Of course ppl who wanted to buy few years later got FOMO and bought. It’s their foolishness but you need to get down from your high horse

  28. I have seen your responses before . You were very rude and proud and said real estate only goes up and inventory is very low. Now I see you commenting on all channels still trying to validate your own assumptions. I do not wish any bad for you. May you win but also understand that housing is a basic necessity and everyone needs it. What happened the last couple of years was artificial. It has to come down for common folks too. Only elite are not the only ones living in this planet. Remember we are making it very difficult for our kids also in future. At this rate they will also never be able to buy. I cannot buy a home for each of my kid and pass it down. You need to be realistic and compassionate for future generations as well. Hope what I said makes some sense.

  31. Travis do you really think Correction or crash will happen. So many ppl got 2-3% interest rates. They have no reason to sell where as we are paying the equivalent in rent. Their interest and monthly payments are so low, they just have to wait until 2024 and then the fed can do anything. Even now the fed is buying MBS behind our backs which they shouldn’t be doing. They are not letting mortgage rates rise. They are not letting foreclosures come to fruition soon so that inventory rises. Builders have stopped building new homes. So I don’t know how the situation will change when so many market forces are working against us

  33. Do not promote FOMO. With inflation where it is do you want the county to become like Zimbabwe.. taking a trolley full of money to buy bread. That’s what will happen and feds know that. They have to continue witn QT. If not 2%, inflation has to be brought down to 3-4%. You seem to have vested interest. Prices are high mortgage rates are high. It’s not that ppl don’t want houses. Everyone wants a house but not everyone can afford at current levels. It has no room to go up. It has to come diwn

So in a way you know prices will decline and still encouraging ppl to go FOMO and buy at the top of the bubble. Why should I pay more for someone else’s enjoyment. I have a stable job and I can afford current payments but most ppl cannot. My friend bought a house gor 750k in January. When we asked in March seller was quoting 900 and now it’s come down to 800k for the same house. Even my friend bought an overpriced house. I am sure that house will go to 600k which is its true worth
