This was one awesome video travis.. ppl are blinded like before denying there’s a crash. These things take time. The unnatural growth in economy was not due to any real innovation or growth but printed money. This bubble has to burst. My gut tells me it will. Just a matter of time. Ponzi scheme has to end

There will be lot of rent defaults and evictions too. Who will pay sky high rents when they don’t have many to buy food and other expenses. You guys are delusional about high rental returns. People are struggling to make ends meet. No one will benefit if economy works this way. There has to be space for everyone to grow elde lawlessness and crime wlll increase when ppl become homeless

@patricksanders4705 exactly... even if they want to bail out they cannot. There's just no more money left. Unless they want this great country to go the Zimbabwe way. I remember seeing those visuals as a child. ppl taking money in trolley or bags just to buy one loaf of bread.

@RoknRolUSA I wasn’t financially ready then and one year later the bidding wars drove me away. Also I didn’t like the houses available and the the ones I liked were too over priced. I didn’t want to FOMO cos someone else is buying when I knew in 2019 those houses were half that

@House_hacker_619 you are wrong about rentals. currently with the high prices and interest rates, monthly payments for half a million dollar homes are close to 4k. no one is going to pay that rent atleast in my area. dont worry i am going to wait. another 6-12 months wont hurt me. I am not in a rush, I will save up for a huge down payment. and we will also know if there are mass layoffs. in case jobs are secure then only i will make a move, In the current volatile market its clear stupidity. More power to you if you have the means.

@House_hacker_619 yeah i am married with a family. I do not like to share my house with strangers. House hacking works if you are a bachelor or if you are comfortable with renting part of the house. like i said $2000 mortgage can be rented out but not $4000 which is the current mortgage. We will. need to add more people in the rental which is again not ideal. May be the deal you got was good but the current market is nor favorable to first time buyers. Even you want to buy the next one when market corrects but right now it doesnt make sense for most people. there might be few exceptions.

Also I have moved about 4 times till now. And I know I will have one more major move in the next 5 years. All the moves were related to job opportunities

@AlphaKorr we will buy your house Pennie’s on the dollar stacking up lot of savings. Many will lose jobs and forced to sell. Fed cannot print anymore without losing dollar completely. Entire world is watching. It may not be yours but there will be plenty. I myself know of friends who regret buying due to FOMO.I have friends who are having sleepless nights as they fear they could face the next round of layoffs

@Daniel____DiJ so printing money with no real growth in production is progress for you. If this is the way to go to prop housing market then fundamentally US will go down the drain. The days of unlimited printing money are gone. This unraveling will happen slow but it will happen

You would be a fool to buy incomplete houses right now. I have seen builders go belly up and just disappear. You are left with either no house or a very bad one and also the neighborhood if it’s not developed becomes ghost town

@realestatemindset but that divides the gap between rich and poor and allows for speculation by those who have more disposable income. It’s unfair if you had the means to buy when rates were low. If rates are variable everyone will be encouraged to save more and even playing field

It’s not a great time to buy. If they hadn’t bailed out SVB we would have been on track for a reset. This way they wil let the economy hyperinflate but not bring prices down. I see this system is only rewarding irresponsible ppl. I don’t even feel like drinking my coffee ☕️
