  19. i've only been saying this for over 30 years. the ruling elite can end poverty at ANY TIME if they wanted to. but they choose not to because poverty exists because its designed to exist. poverty serves at least 4 purposes. 1) it acts as a punishment to anyone who resists or rejects the system. 2) it acts as a deterent to political action. if you continue your complaining we'll make you poor. 3) and it acts as a means of social control. a people divided are much easier to manipulate and pit against each other. comptetion becomes cut-throat as masses do whatever necassary to avoid the horrible fate. if you get out of line poverty is the horror you face. 4) lastly, the poor are a scapegoat on which to blame all society's ills. of course poverty's existance is intentional. its all a part of the "equalism" philosophy. i even posted videos about on youtube that no one watches.
