I've heard people on the right say food, like medical care, isn't a human right. these people are just cruel and stupid. their the hard-core right who claim everyone should fend for themselves; that society has no obligation towards anyone, for anything - EXCEPT the rich. the rich deserve all their wealth, their tax breaks, subsidies and govt contracts. with their intense propaganda machine the elite have really twisted and corrupted the morals of these blind gullible morons.   6. imperialism uses many tactics other than brute force to take terrority from its rightful owners. trickery and fraud enforced through "law" was also used. this was a method the europeans used in southeast asia, india, central and south america and throughout africa. it was often corporate interests that corrupted the law. corporations would con "natives" into contracts and later used those contracts to take the land. they would use laws requiring "peonage" (servitude for unpaid debts) to enslave the locals and the police to enforce these contracts. the miltary would be brought in only if any organized resistance developed. the only one's who could resist this "legal" corporate fraud were places like china and japan who had the military strength to expell the foreigners. corporations use contracts even today to conspire with govts to cheat and rob people as standard operating procedure. 95% of all use of "eminent domain" is used against the lower classes to take their property and hand it to corporations for development. as long as a corrupt ruling elite exists they'll use fraud and/or force to screw "the people" just like they've done for 1000s of years.

THE RICH eventually recieve the money from EVERY govt program intended to help the poor. and then of course we have WAGE SLAVERY and DEBT SLAVERY. CAPITALISM IS SLAVERY! BIG GOVT is the result of capitalism NOT socialism. the elite use big govt to enforce their will, protect their privilege, profits and wealth and to cover their social responibilities. sorry for the length of my comment.

THAT'S ILLEGAL! no cop has the right to PREVENT anyone from filing a police report or a criminal complaint. and no cop has the right to refuse to investigate an alleged crime. the cop supervisor told me flat out - they would NEVER investigate a crime committed by a landlord. when i notified the FBI, of both the police corruption and of the extortion, it occurred across state-lines, they told me to stick it up my ass. during the ten years since i've been the victim of continuous criminal harrassment from my neighbors. i have evidence of this too. the kern county sheriff's dept refused to let me file a complaint. in fact they refused to respond AT ALL! when the same neighbor filed a false report against me the cops RESPONDED TO HER COMPLAINT! i proved to them the neighbor filed a false complaint against me. ANOTHER CRIME! the cops again REFUSED to enforce the law. the damned cop told me - we have better things to do than baby sit you people. (a direct quote.) YET ANOTHER CRIME committed by the cops. its a common scam for cops to claim the crimes committed against you are civil matters. i've notified lawyers of these criminal infractions. they, TOO, refused to enforce the law. and they flat-out denied me my right to legal representation because i'm poor.   44. roughly ten years ago i tried to file a criminal complaint against my landlord for extorting $50k from me and my parents. i already had the evidence myself! the cop surpervisor told me they "would NEVER investigate a crime committed by a landlord." since the crime occurred across state lines i then notified the FBI who threatened me if i didn't stop my efforts to have the laws enforced. and the banks were used to commit this extortion and THEY DIDN'T CARE! i notified a dozen lawyers and THEY DIDN'T CARE! i even posted videos of it on youtube and no one watched. NO ONE CARES! i have evidence of multiple crimes and NO ONE CARES! i tried to file complaints against my neighbors who've been criminally harrassing me for the last 7 years. the cops AGAIN refused to enforce the law and ignored these crimes. fairly recently, that same neighbor filed a FALSE complaint against me. this was a direct result of the failures of the cops to enforce the law the last 7 years. when i told the cop this he said - "we have better things to do than babysit you people." just what options are there when the ENTIRE system is rigged against the victims in favor of the victimizers?

  45. +C Geer… yes both the venus project and Zeitgeist movement are good workable ideas but they lack two things... they lack any coherent or workable means to achieve them. how do we get there and they don't make any attempt to appeal to half of the population - the conservative half. they fear ideas like these. and without the cooperation of half of humanity we'll just be forever stuck in this ridiculous, endless cycle of conflict. its extremely important to make EVERYONE feel safe and secure from tyranny and oppression.

  46. the philosophy of equalism does this. it protects the rights of the left and right through the mutual protection of INDIVIDUAL rights. no one needs to fear equalism. and it offers a means to achieve the goals presented by the venus project and much of the zeitgeist movement. if we ALL don't start looking at our world, each other AND ourselves differently we're ALL screwed. because the elite will just keep taking advantage of the conflicts they cause between us!

  47. +Jasmina… (love your name btw)… when I mentioned "right wing oligarchs" I was including the neo-liberal elite as well. the blame, in all actuality, can be placed on the neo-liberals as well as the neocons. the democrats as well as republicans. the deep state is just another name for the police-state and ALL the elite are involved and stand to gain. and trump is a member of this elite. didn't you hear trump's U. N. speech where he denounced Maduro? it was trump who announced the U. S. wouldn't recognize Maduro. why on earth are you removing trump's moronic, puppet actions from responsibility on this matter? he's as corrupt and fascist as the rest of them my friend.

I just read an article where senator graham recounts a recent conversation with trump where trump suggested using military force to oust Maduro. graham talked him out of it, for now. trump isn't a good person - he's NO victim. he's a mean, selfish, cruel and vindictive person and highly unstable. he just held our country hostage for over a month to demand a pointless wall to circumvent the congressional process. he's a NUT!

  50. first, we ALL need to stop calling trump president. HE ISN'T! and they  just illustrated one of a dozen reasons why he isn't president; conflict of interest! that's still illegal in this country. so, they got rid of the mandate to force you to pay insurance companies that nobody liked to begin with and which was a republican idea to begin with that Obama sold us out on; but having insurance is still a legal requirement. I wonder how that gonna work. then these tax breaks for the wealthy are going to be used as the excuse to slash public assistance for the poor while more middle class enter poverty. question; WHERE'S THE REVOLUTION?
