  2. you failed to mention ukrainians have landed at least 1 or more armored vehicles as well and are taking control of 1 or 2 settlements there. russians use aviation glide bombs against them but they are not very accurate but are very powerful.

  4. an example - the general that was in charge of the fiasco they had at vulhedar a few months back where about 100 tanks were destroyed over a week or 2 by continuing to attack ukrainian positions . he got a big promotion from putin because he wrote a report to putin saying how his attack was a complete success even though it was an abject failure. yesterday he killed 200 russian troops by making them all meet and wait for hours for him to come and give them a speech. so the ukrainians easily spotted the concentration of troops and killed them all with artillery in one attack. so i would say maybe an individual commander knows of his own corruption but not of everyone else's.

  26. not strangely. i am the same.( i'm 62 now) my father was very informed about the happenings in ukraine . my interest was lukewarm if any.although i did argue with him in the 1990's when ukraine conceded to usa and sent their nukes to russia that it was a big mistake. he was all for the deal since it provided money to ukraine. i am sure if he was alive today he would regret that . since the war started i am on it every day . almost an obsession. i guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all.

  31. or they could have an epiphany and kick the greens to the curb and build or restart nuclear power . there are new designs that are super super safe. and if you also reprocess the waste becomes almost trivial. also if ukraine wins and takes back crimea there are huge natural gas deposits under the black sea all along the coast of ukraine. those were stolen by russia when they took crimea. those deposits could replace russian gas for europe.

  34.  @arthurmiranda8896  that is why the deal clinton made should have had u.s. boots on the ground maintaining a number of nukes until ukraine had a stable program. ukraine didn't need ICBM's but tactical nukes say a few hundred . they had like 2000 or so . as part of the deal u.s. could inspect them as well. this would have prevented invasion of crimea in 2014 and any war with russia.

  37. that is already a thing. the irs or other govt entity can freeze pretty much anybody's bank account so any money in that account is not useable. hell a bank can do that on their own if they think they can get away with it. say a website like stormfront , a weed store or some other " undesirable " has a bank account . they can decide to just freeze it.

  48. people talking about pumps don't realize the amount of power it would take to pump the water. it's like 25 million gallons per lock. to pump that in a reasonably fast manner like 15 minutes means you need about 1.7 gallons/ minute . that's a lot of pump and power . at 10 psi an estimate is 1.7 million / 150 = hp = 11333 hp or about 8500 kw for each lock . how much power is available in panama?
