iran builds the shahed for 20k the us will make a version that costs 20 million a pop.
2
it's 3 things - food prices , the border , kamala . lots of people didn't like her . then you have have trans thing from 2019 that she never disavowed.
2
@jimdoe9827 working remotely is white collar , the stuff that will be displaced by AI more easily . chat gpt can already write code with minimal direction. would you do physical work ? like maintenance or trade work as in hvac/ plumbing etc. ?
2
@charleswomack2166 where is that because that seems pretty young for a trade.
2
@cameronspence4977 i bet russia doesn't even have accurate numbers . and ukraine counts anyone that fights for russia not just russian soldiers. wagner is an example. plus foreigners recruited from other countries. russia never counts those. as for 50k ? they lost that many who came from prison.
2
very hard to get young people interested in any physical labor job. we are starving for plumbers, electricians , hvac techs, maintenance people. maintenance people very hard to find anyone under 40 let alone under 30 who will be a maintenance technician . i have been looking for a few 2nd and 3rd shift guys for a year . many time you make an offer they accept then later they don't show up at all or when you call them they say they took a job on days .
2
@firstnamelastname7941 good point since this is before the election
2
you trade it in
2
peter my ears are burning. the word is nuclear - nuke lee er not nuke you ler
2
i read they discovered that water from fracking has high lithium content and that fracking could be a new source for lithium
1
@__________f9433 well when the tariffs kick in and inflation runs rampant we will see who is crying
1
@stephanbergmann8373 when i was a kid 50 years ago we were a decade away from fusion .
1
@stephanbergmann8373 not going to happen . no chance
1
well if whats his name gets elected he may pull us out of nato. i would say the chances are at least 50/50. there is no way he would want to go to war over nato.
1
@reekinronald6776 here in western NY they have stuck alot of the migrants that got sent to ny city. now local school districts are swamped with all the kids of the migrants and need huge funding to keep up. we are not like ny city. we are not in favor of open borders and in favor of 2A. yet we get this problem shoved down our throats.
1
biggest issue was immigration primarily from middle east which is totally incompatible with british culture.
1
he has a staff that he employs . he doesn't just come up with all this stuff on his own every day. he subsidizes their families
1
russia will be able to build new tanks. the sanctions have had little effect because the electronics just end up getting sold to one of the stan countries then to russia or russia has people in western countries set up companies that obtain electronics and surreptitiously get it to them. all of a sudden the amount of electronics that one of the stan countries buys has gone up 90% in a year. so where are they going - right to russia. their soldiers now have modern gear like helmets and vests and such from china. the russians do eventually catch up. this is all terrible by the way. and we have johnson and his master to thank for the destruction and death in ukraine.
1
the ppp loans were to pay the employees like you so you wouldn't collect unemployment with it's huge overpayment of 600/ week. if used correctly it saved money and many employees were pissed that they couldn't stay home and collect the big juice.
1
it sucks and scumbag johnson is preventing aid . he needs to be removed
1
there are plenty of humans that should be suppressed as well
1
@SkywhiteChannel well unless you research everything yourself you will summate others .
1
idiots voted
1
NO , perot took 18.9% of the vote in the election mostly from bush. that is why clinton won.
1
there is a big counterattack happening in the south of bahkmut now . the russians are running away and ukraine has taken back 6 sq km and even wagners are running away
1
do you ever stay in 1 place? wow yesterday you said you were in toronto. i could never put up with that much flying.
1
perhaps we need some tough talk with saudi to let MBS know that he should play ball with the us. he thinks he is in control. perhaps he needs a lesson.
1
there is also the economic reasons. wages for blue collar or low end employment have increased dramatically at least in our area. fast food is paying 18 / hr to start . it was only a few years ago when there was a big slogan to get to 15 / hr
1
well the stats say that alcohol consumption in russia was way lower than the ussr in line with regular countries. it is increasing now however. now the stats may be fake , that is always possible. and ave life expectancy is always skewed if there is high infant mortality.
1
i disagree with much of the first part of this. it was only because ukraine had a capable military that russia was not able to just roll in. they had built their military since 2014 with training from various nato members on site in ukraine. and i don't think it has anything to do with russia's security. no one was going to attack russia. it is simple greed on the part of putin and a handful of ultra right. putin just wants to " restore the glory of russia" even though there was nothing to be glorious about. half the country doesn't even have toilets.
1
because it's not who votes that counts but who counts the votes. just happened in venezuela . the opposition obviously won by a wide margin but maduro still rules and faked the count.
1
@MrGorpus wake me up when one actually gets built. as soon as one gets approved every wacko in the country like RFK will be stirring up shit against it to block it.
1
@VelkePivo why , does it affect your life?
1
also possible for russia to attack the baltics to " protect " russian speakers , especially if trump gets elected . he wants to pull the us out of nato .
1
i think you overstate the importance of the bridge . it's very important but won't cripple russian forces by any means if it's closed. the biggest problem is endless mine fields and trenches in the south. the russians can lay mines very easily from trucks that shoot out dispensers that lay mines on the surface. those idiots who complain about cluster munitions don't realize the extent of russian laid mine fields already. miles deep by hundreds of miles wide. ukraine needs new machines that can move over the minefields without getting damaged . and they need to be fast to avoid artillery and be armored . so yah easy peasy - NOT
1
well it's hard to gauge what all the idiot voters will do
1
this new factory is actually tiny in comparison to what they do in taiwan. and i predict they will have a hard time getting enough dedicated workers to be successful. making chips is a pretty terrible job in reality.
1
training the maintaners is the hardest part. training the pilots is easy in comparison. the maintainers need way more knowledge than the pilots. the pilots already know how to fly. they are half way there. one of the biggest issues for them is understanding english believe it or not.
1
that russian ship that sunk a couple weeks ago in the mediteranian had 2 large cranes on the deck that they were transporting likely the destination was benghazi in libyia to set up their port facilities for loading and unloading their ships.
1
peter the word is pronounced NUKE LEE ER not NUKE YOU LER
1
iran having F-14 's is the reason all F-14 planes in us possession were destroyed and scrapped years ago. to prevent any parts from them somehow getting to iran.
1
i would say there is not a problem at all
1
the truth is somewhere in between his numbers and the zealot's numbers. i think too many manufacturers jumped on ev's, put in huge investments because tesla's were selling as fast as they could make them. most other ev's come short in range and charging infrastructure. tesla's minimalist styling and big brother monitoring don't appeal to a large section of the population , plus the cost is high. ev's will continue to grow but not at the massive pace the automakers geared up for. now that in north america the tesla plug is standard it makes charging ev's much better if you can use a supercharger.
1
well for all those fools when they strike and get more money prices go up. then they complain that things are to expensive and when will inflation go down thinking prices will go down. if inflation goes to zero prices stay the same not go down. why do so many people expect their lives to NOT be a struggle. humanity requires struggle. blue collar wages have gone way up from 12 bucks to 18 . so instead of working 40 hours and making more money many workers skip off a couple days a week and make the same money. so their ambition is to NOT work. then expect the govt to give them a handout. this is what we deal with every day in our factory. they miss work and lose their attendance bonus of 100 bucks / week and they don't care. too busy smoking weed since that is now legal in my state.
1
you fail to mention that ukraine now also has the neptune missile for ground to ship and ground to ground attack. carries up to 350 kg of explosive . that's alot. 3 times what a gmlrs from a himars.
1
we need to reform immigration in the us. i say increase legal immigration to 5 million per year. deport all the illegals after that and make the border really secure by using the military . they don't do much else other than training anyway. make the immigrants learn english . provide minimal welfare help for a short period . the legals should be able to work right away. make them get a job or face consequences. this will lower inflation as there are not enough people willing to do manual work now. gen z has decided they won't work at a physical job.
1
reports are biden has given the go ahead as well
1
here is where keystone XL pipeline would have helped get the canadian heavy sour crude down to the south us where it could make it's way to mexico via ship or whatever means. or is the canadian crude no good for their refinery?
1
check out sal's channel -- what's going on with shipping. he has a great video out about all the lawsuits that are coming . like all the ships that are trapped in the port . all the customers of those ships . plus ships that were going to the port can now legally drop those containers at any port they want. then the container owners will have to arrange to truck them out. Chubb is on the hook for all of this . he goes into the entire insurance pool that is available and it's like 2-3 billion.
1
i had thought this was a failure since so few of the operatives were unalived but i hadn't thought about the intelligence end of it and identifying the operatives. it's almost like branding their foreheads with the word hezbolah
