If you don't know a damn thing about it, maybe it's best to keep quiet while the adults speak. Richard Wagner composed 1833-1882, Germany didn't even exist back then, seeing as it was only founded out of the failed French invasion of the German states of 1870.

@nattygsbord Dumb Americans harping "It's German therefore it must be nazi" simply grind my gears. Guy should either get an education or keep his mouth shut. Not that stupidity is exclusive to the US, but Americans seem more prone to wildly offensive assumptions about other cultures.
1
@Lorenz1973 And if you had read my post at all before kneejerking, you could've read how I explicitly pointed out 1871. Ferland was claiming the composer Wagner was a nazi, which is ridiculous. Not sure what the relevance of your post even is. Hitler also liked to breathe air, just like you do. Does that mean you're probably a nazi? No of course not, that's just as insane as claiming Wagner was a nazi.

@christophesiewecke9208 You admit that you're a liar and it's not genocide, you just screech that word as an empty political statement. You even included the typical Hamas tripe about how 60+ years of constant terrorism and betrayal by the Palestinians is somehow 'Israel marginalising them' instead. What I wonder though, if I went door to door systematically killing everyone, including your entire family, would you be a hypocrite and condemn me, or would you praise me for murdering your family since I did a 'legit act of resistance'? I think you're a hypocrite as well as a liar.
1
@alexanderbarkman7832 So you admit you're a liar by trying to reverse the burden of proof. But no problem, you filthy racist liar, I can fulfill that too. Military strike: The storming of Al Rantisi armoury/hospital. Bags of weapons, cells for captives and a Hamas tunnel found. Then you Hamas bois screeched "It was planted later", then Israel posted the Hamas CCTV from the hospital which shows fighters. You were crushed. Human shields Roughly two weeks ago: "Hamas Uses Warning Shots to Keep Human Shields In Place, Gaza" Posted by a Palestinian, it shows your friends beating Palestinians and shooting near them trying to corral them back into a clinic used as a missile storage. Crushed you again Hamas boi. So sad.

We can see a clear sign that Putin's grip on power is failing: Over 11 oligarchs who were all essential parts of the regime, have been murdered since just because the war started (30th january was the first). In the ten years before that, Putin only imprisoned and destroyed 1 oligarch. Now he's murdered 11 in half a year.

Well, so far most people formerly subjugated by the Russians prior to roughly the 1980's have usually collapsed in the face of renewed Russian agression. Think of the Georgians for example, got invaded, out matched, then elect a bunch of Russian *rse-kissers as their government. Serbia was reconquered without a shot being fired, cost the Serbs losing two wars and most of their future. Montenegro voluntarily submitted. Armenians sold their souls. Chechens fought but eventually submitted. Moldovans failed to fight and joined the invader in droves. Even China has refused to assert itself until now in 2023, while they were invaded by Russians six times. It takes quite something for a people to respond to agression by total war.
1
No, you are wrong. Germany is in fact all of Europe. No other countries exist.
1
@tasospanagiotou7823 Uhm, since 1900, Russia began 86 wars of agression, defined as attempting to seize land or enslave peoples. Making Russian the most bloodthirsty country on planet earth since the 2nd most bloodthirsty country is India with 11 such wars. Since 1900, the US began 0 wars of agression; Their annexation of the Philipines was in 1899. Go home Sergei, you're drunk and argueing typical putin-fascistic nonsense like "We Russian OWN all of Europe! A missile shield to DEFEND against our AGRESSION is therefore an act of agression by the evil Amerikanskis". Go away Sergei, nobody believes you.

Yes and no. Earlier on Chinese citizens were murdered by Russian troops. Beijing said 'stop it', it happened again. This lead to the famous 'wolf warrior tweet'. Which showed Beijing is angry at that as Putin makes them lose face. So this will definately anger Beijing, but will it prompt them into action? So far all that's happened is Putin got on his knees and begged for Chinese weapons, and Beijing didn't even pick up the phone, that's why they went to North Korea instead. But what else is China willing to do? It's a public secret that Hong Kong is the base of a lot of Russian shell companies to circumvent the sanctions and import western weapon components. One thing they could do is crack down on that, seize all shipments and companies and use that as leverage. Worst case scenario for Putin (but also unlikely) is Beijing joins the sanctions against Russia. In that scenario they only have Eritrea and their Indian bootlickers on their team. That said, China is on Team China, nothing else. Sanctions would harm China, so they wouldn't do that, in principle.

Nice book. Do you plan to translate it from South-Swedish to English?

It's funny how for me that's one of the positive points. Twitter is one of the few platforms that doesn't agressively push American prudism and allows posting of kinky content. Tumblr went American prude, banned all nudity, and promptly lost 99,7% of market capitalisation across 3 years, and lost an even larger share of the user base as suddenly the 0.1% of Tumblr content, American far left fascist crap, was now suddenly all their algorhitm pushes, making nearly all users leave.
1
@rlwdesigns Oh come... "That's too explicit for anyone!" is the first step towards total censorship, since you reject it's reason for being. While in the case of twitter allowing bdsm content it's kinda relevant: A sexual orientation is a bit more relevant than your tiny hobby design 'business'.
1
@rlwdesigns Could it be because we've been hearing this "Think of the children!" BS you're spouting, from opressive reactionaries for the better part of 2 centuries now? And I can make that concrete as well: The Bush regime used that exact same argument to shut down Intersec (company behind Insex) in 2005. And it escalated to a witch hunt, as Ars Technica put it in 2007's "FBI agents paid to surf for deviant porn" You walk like a duck and quack like a duck but keep argueing you're no duck. Also your argument is about as convincing as me dousing your house in gasoline and then waving around torches while insisting that I'm no arsonist and you should trust me to ensure nothing bad happens.

@krokodilpil8335 ISIS was created by Russia and Iran preventing the fall of the Russian-Iranian puppet ruler Assad. That lead a lot of ordinary Syrians to grow dissatisfied with the people's uprising and instead support extremist islamists who were getting the results. The SDF then crushed ISIS, after which the coalition of Russian and Iranian terror-troops and conscripted Syrians rolled in and crushed the SDF. ....And after the people began supporting ISIS, negotiations took place, Russia entirely stopped bombing ISIS (as maps of Russia's airstrikes reveal) and ISIS fighters were showing up with shiny new Russian army gear while stuff ISIS stole was being exported to Russia. Curious how all of that coincides....
1
@ruifenghuang1029 Sounds cool, let me know if it ever happens in reality. But as it stands, the Hamas PR department made that number up. Why would you repeat such a lie? Isn't lying a sin?
1
@ronaldbell7429 Biden's plan so far has been mostly "Ohnoes if I put my foot down in any way, I'll get voted out of office because Putin-MAGA will go even more defeatist hippy mode than they are now"
1
Yes Sergei, why were Russia's filthy hands all over those countries? Yugoslavia went into war because Russia encouraged the Serbs. Saddam loved Russia. Ghadaffi was basically just a Russian puppet. The Taliban is ruled from Moscow, with only the Russian embassy in Kabul currently open.
1
It's not a coincidence that crowd consists out of 99% Russian-paid agitators and Russian-influenced extremists. Covidiots, BLM, MAGA, some other fringe groups that Russia already ran pre-war. Around the elections here in march, I nearly got into a fistfight with a covidiot FVD member because he was putting up posters calling for 'peace' (meaning immediate Ukrainian surrender) illegally, on top of illegally splattered propaganda against other political parties. He thought he had a right to illegally put up such offensive propaganda and wanted to attack me when he saw me cleaning it off. FVD are the only pro-Russian party, with even another racist the Russians bribed, abandoning them at the start of the war. FVD got decimated from 12 seats in the 1st chamber of parliament, down to just one. Which puts them at the same number as the 'independant senator' who beg people not to vote for them in too high a number, since they just want to independantly check the work of the senate and not engage in politcs.

That burned harder than Notre Dame. ;-)

This issue was done to death during the initial discussion, and recently Israel hammered a nail in the coffin of your argument too: Gripen = overpriced trash, contracts tend to go 400% over budget. F16 is better than Gripen, and F35 replace the F16. Eurofighter is an overly expensive air superiority fighter, not a fighter-bomber. We need a fighter-bomber. The NATO war model against Russian-style armies involves using airpower to overwhelm their GBAD and ground forces, as Serbia discovered. The F35 can do that. Neither the Eurofighter nor the Gripen can. Israel recently used the F35 to overwhelm Iran's air defenses and took out all of their S400 and S300 systems: The best the Axis of Evil even has for sale. No planes were lost. Stealth worked.
1
@adrien5834 So why isn't Ukraine currently halfway to Moscow after blitzing through Russia's AA defenses then, if stealth isn't necessary? Exactly, with Russia and Iran both able to clear the sky up to 100 km away from the front, stealth is a hard requirement.
1
@adrien5834 Ah you mean they're in the same situation as the 20-50 Gripens would be if any single European country goes up against Russia. Well I guess stealth is needed then and you can stop shilling for inferior systems to eat up all of our defense budget.

Putin: "Ukrainians are nazis!" Sensible Russian aparatchik: "Hey you mean those people that we allied, supplied, planned to invade but then pre-empted us and kicked our asses until the Americans helped us?" Putin: "Shut up Sergei!" Putin: "I've decided Ukrainians aren't nazis, instead all of them are terrorists!" Sensible Russian aparatchik: "Hey boss, is the script still correct? You're now talking about us, our side, blowing up Moscow appartment blocks while blaming the Chechens, shooting unconcious theater visitors and MH17? Just checking but can we spin it so far that the Ukrainians are somehow us?" Putin: "Shut up Sergei or you're accidentally falling out of a window!"
1
Ah, the paid trolls are here to do damage-control.
1
Another aspect that will become relevant in the coming years. And I'm going to switch theaters entirely for a moment here: Remember Xi Jinping having an uncharacteristic meltdown at Trudeau about Trudeau blabbering in parliament about a previous private discussion the two had? China is a 'face culture'. Oh and as it happens they're THE regional power and world stage contender. By trying to publicly humiliate Zelensky, Trump has just reduced his own chances at diplomacy with China to zero as Trump tried to enhance his face in the most hamfisted way possible, in a very open ambush and attempt to humiliate Zelensky. The worst betrayal possible for matters of saving face. And he's already signalled to Taiwan, Japan and South Korea that Washington is possibly their enemy these days and at best an unwilling ally who will screw them over whenever possible. With this act Trump has already sank the US in the Pacific. And we're only a month into this 4 year shambles. 😆
