Just what Obama said in 2015: Russia has "escalation superiority". No matter what is given to Ukraine, Russia can leap frog that capability. The only thing US has that Russia doesn't is an aircraft carrier; but even if we gave Zelensky a carrier, RU would destroy it in port
20
Many are waiting to be liberated. There were about 1000 people in Avdiivka (!!) when it fell, and RU evacuated them as soon as they came in contact with them. Not everyone everywhere agrees with everything 100%.
20
Just take five minutes and imagine Ukraine has just encircled and destroyed a Russian army holding a city sized for 30,000 in such fashion. No organized retreat, a Rout. With troops captured, surrendering, fleeing in disorder, etc. Just imagine the deafening headlines across the Western world in this alternate reality, then witness the deafening silence going on at this very moment in this reality.
20
"What it needed" was about 500,000 more soldiers, 3000 more tanks, 5000 more artillery pieces, and an entire Air Force of at least 500 fighters and 300 attack aircraft. Yet, you blame NATO for not providing all this free of charge.
20
@pavlinpetkov8984 you say that like its a bad thing. RU don't have "moms" with beards and other modern "advances"....🤣
19
??? There are like five or six videos the past three days showing unequivocally that the missile was a Ukrainian air defense interceptor??
19
Budanov is an intelligence officer, putting him in charge of the army would be like putting the CIA director in charge of the army
19
I would like to know how two peoples who are basically cousins for the past 1500 years, can somehow be turned into bitter enemies fighting to the death just over the past 15 years. 20 years ago if you asked a Russian and Ukrainian if the other were their "enemy" and each would have looked at you strangely. Whatever force is capable of that I'd like to understand, as the Russians and Ukrainians have far less historic reason to hate each other than the English and Scottish do.
19
Because the "charge" was purely political...?
18
Zelensky act like he's the first nation in human history that had to give up territory. France lost a war and gave up Alsace-Lorraine and didn't get it back for 45 years. Everyone has to take the "L" sometimes and not cry and whine about it...
18
It says AFU lies through its teeth; they said they shot down all but two (38/40). We all watched on cell phone video as at least four missiles struck just one city...."
18
Zelensky asked him to resign and he refused saying "its the President's decision whether I serve or not". Basically, I'm not gonna quit; you have to fire me. To be brutally honest; Zelensky has many reasons to fire Zaluzhny, the counter-offensive failed, the Russians have been on a rampage the past month, etc. However, I don't think it would make any difference. Zelensky could have Hannibal, Scipio Africanus, or Julius Caesar himself at the head of their army and they'd still be steamrolled.
18
No it isn't. Transnistria asked for UN assistance; whereas in 2021 LPR/DPR did not. IF UN helps them, no point for Russia to step in.
18
"Defend ourselves"??? Poland was never attacked as far as I know; yet they've been sending their Krab self-propelled 155mm guns (with Polish Armed Forces inside) into Ukraine for two years now... Maybe the word "defend" means something different in English than it does in Polish??
18
To live free of US and British servitude?
18
They just dropped of a shipment off cheap high-quality EVs in Germany. They don't need to "experiment" with the West anymore; they have already won for the next century.
17
@nguyenlamanh2919 They'd have to take Odessa. 😂😂😂
17
Its Netanyahu. His goal is irrational; as long as he pursue's it, everyone in the area goes down with him.
17
@ernstschwaig4667 who gonna close it?
16
Russia lost a 30 ft section of bridge. Ukraine lost the entire port of Odessa. Cope on that. 🙂
16
Ukraine announced yesterday they are building largest military cemetery in possibly the world. At least as large as Arlington National Cemetery in the United States, and the war isn't even over yet. Ukraine is 10% of US population with same size military cemetery. Let that sink in...
16
As is always the case when you "bring the war home", the enemy civilians don't get mad at their government, they get mad at you Russian civilians starting to get louder about wanting their government to level Kyiv in response to Kursk...."
16
This is very close to stories on the Yeti, Vampires, and the Lost City of Atlantis.
15
1. NATO expressly forbids Ukraine to use donated weapons to attack Russia. 2. The use of cluster shells on civilian areas is a clear violation of UN agreements (if a signatory) and considered by the West as a "war crime"
15
Those hypersonic shovels again.... unstoppable
15
I can't help but keep seeing that "Heil Zelensky" ad where they take every possession of the German family, including the kid's teddy bear.
15
Just saw report this morning that Zelensky signed a law to allow foreigners to serve as officers in the UAF He long ago signed Ukraine's resources to the West, now he's even signing away what vestigial shreds of sovereignty Ukraine had left.... Unbelievable times we are living in; pure desperation in full view as we witness the beginning of the End
15
NATO is dripping with fear, thats why the constant ridicule. Russia should naturally outsource low value military production like shells and rockets, so their domestic production can concentrate on drones and kinzhals. In return NK gets ICBM tech. It makes perfect sense for them to cooperate against a common enemy.
15
30 F-16s in 2028. By 2028, "Ukraine" will exist only as a theme park at Disneyworld.
15
Basically, no one in the West has any idea what just happened.
14
Russia took it in 9 months and the West ridiculed them the whole time for "taking so long". Ukraine now has been trying to take it back for 5 months and they just took a village 3 km from the city outskirts. At this rate Ukraine will recapture Bakhmut in 2027. 😂
14
Zelensky's Final Judgment has come. He only has 11 more days in his Presidential Term; will he concede and sign the Armistice Agreement?
14
50 countries versus 1 and he has wiped the floor with them.
14
Back in 2015, President Obama said he was against arming Ukraine to fight Russia because "...Russia has the ability to infinitely escalate..." Basically, no matter what the US gave Ukraine, Russia could always easily go one step further, resulting in Ukraine never really having an advantage and just being wiped out in the process. Right wing hawks excoriated Obama at the time for this choice (and still do), but he was 100% correct. Here we are and yet another "escalatory step" is taken because, as Obama said, so far Russia just leapfrogs whatever US gives Ukraine the capability to do.
14
....Russia learned from the United States. They learned from the best. 😂
13
Yep, and NATO is demiltarized. Who'd have ever thunk that two years ago? Never poke the Bear...
13
.. reported for misinformation...
13
No, and you are "Far Right" for noticing...
13
These are the exact same rockets AFU has had for a year, just longer range. Most will be shot down, some will hit. RU will fire twice as many Tornado-S (200 km range) back. Same as its always been.
13
Yes but Russia has 600 Su-27s and 200 Su-35s. Flown by pilots with years of training, not months. The idea the US or NATO can just give Ukraine an air Force that can counter Russia is absurd fantasy. A few months in an F-16 just means you will look good while dying. In combat it is acting without thinking, honed by years of experience or training, that saves your life. This discussion is a waste of time.
13
"several hundred meters" regained. I don't even know how they say that with a straight face. Several hundred meters in exchange for 150 armored vehicles and 7,000 casualties.
12
I keep asking them to moderate all the Ukraine bots like you but they treat me just like they treat you...
12
Russia keeps sending little reminders that it is "playing with its food" and neither Zelensky nor NATO get the message. The message is: "Whenever you are ready to talk, let me know. Otherwise I can keep up with this game all day long. You keep telling yourself you have a chance, and I keep reminding you that you do not. When you finally hear me. Let me know."
12
YT why even allow comments if you will delete 90% of them?
12
Wow. That's great that scientists warned and people actually listened. Imagine no warning this town may have become another Pompeii. In 3100 people will dig it out and discover a perfectly preserved town from the year 2023.
12
That 20% loss rate was a month ago before they switched to infantry human wave tactics.
12
Never once did he acknowledge that Ukraine in NATO gives NATO a huge advantage over Russia. The US putting its missiles into Ukraine and the US Navy docked in the Sea of Azov. Never once does he acknowledge neither US nor UK would ever accept an enemy entrenching itself so close to their soil. Never one admission of NATO complicity in creating the situation we are all in. He sounds just like Zelensky; everyone's fault but his.
12
Tik Tok Army from day one. No army in history created a public service announcement before going on the offensive, but AFU did. Even if they knock down a section of the bridge, it won't change a thing and the Russians will just rebuild it like they've done with Mariupol.
12
Dont walk into the trap Iran!
12
Every battle Ukraine says "thousands" are killed, yet every video is of dots on the horizon who could be Haitians for all we know. 😂
