"Helpless Zelensky cries for more weapons to fight Russia" --- Headline in India newpaper. LOL.
3
I haven't seen such hot-headedness in US/UK citizenry to fight Russia straight up since around 1985. But then, back then it would have been the US/UK citizen fighting Russia, not Ukrainians. Probably makes a bit of a difference why we see such "bravery" in US/UK today...
3
Because someone on the Ukraine side is finally giving voice to what a growing body of citizens must surely be thinking: "We may not have gotten all we wanted, but we could have had peace last January. We've gained nothing since then by war and in fact have lost 50,000 of our men and more and more cities now in flames. It isn't getting better, we have to end this."
3
I heard the last one was taken out last night---video of a large explosion in Kyiv with multiple secondary detonations.
3
Define "weakened". Putin agreed with Shoigu last week that Wagner must come under Army control; this is what set Prigozhin off. Yesterday, the Army did NOT bow to Prigozhin; they followed Shoigu and their Commander in Chief. That doesn't seem "weakened" to me, but this is SKY and the lies and propaganda flow here like the flame that issues from a dragon's mouth...

The Vikhr at 8km requires the gunner to keep visual lock. The new LMUR at 15km range is "fire and forget". Sorry.
3
Tell them it is almost over; the annoyances will end soon.
3
A Stryker.... Biden won't like seeing that...."
3
Why wouldn't Russia respond if attacked by another country? What is newsworthy here?? Wouldn't anyone respond in such a situation??
3
@Ivansyoykov LOL. Russia is twice as strong as they were a year ago. Please define "stopped".
3
Russia has eyes on Odessa 24/7 from Earth and Space. If these drones can be tracked to a NATO country like Bulgaria or Romania, then that is where the payback must be delivered.
3
But no ban on athletes from the NATO countries that started the war by threatening Russia?
3
This js a s terriribs unenesessay war 😢
3
Their factories in Siberia run day and night for over a year.
3
Niu York has fallen; AFU is now in full retreat from the Toretsk/Niu York metro area...."
3
Like Boris said yesterday: "If Ukraine loses, the West loses our Hegemony" : he·gem·o·ny /həˈjemənē,ˈhejəˌmōnē/ noun leadership or dominance, especially by one country or social group over others.
3
Where's all the Western whining about "civilians"??? I read that Britain only has 40 operational tanks.... Looks like being an island will save them again for the 237th time in their history....
3
Like the Germans have all this great experience as to how to beat Russia.... 😂
3
NATO and Russia came very close to open war in 1999 over Kosovo. I guess there are some elites on both sides that felt that was a missed opportunity and want to try again...
2
It means they will survive. They may not as Biden has other ideas....
2
Hmmm, one day after Jens Stoltenberg: "I do not expect NATO to offer Ukraine an invitation" Oh yeah! Gonna try to change the outcome of that Summit for sure!!!
2
Ukrainian troops say "4 to 5 of us dead for every 100 meters gained!"
2
LMAO!!! The "109th Facebook..."😂😂😂
2
Listening to the anger and gnashing of teeth from the UK is beautiful. Brits behave on the world stage as if its 1924, not 2024; as if they matter when they don't....
2
WOW!!
2
Just as in the Ukraine war, the propaganda battle is just as fierce as the one with guns and bombs. One hour ago the IDF (IDF!!) published a collection of videos and clips from public and private cameras showing recording of the initial Hamas invasion. No blurred images, nothing cut---raw. People being shot while running away, their bodies looted, etc. Is IDF preparing the world for the news it was a JDAM that hit the hospital by showing us the massacre of their own citizens?
2
Look at that car. Look how almost perfectly intact it is; even though it was hit by a missile. Several years ago, in the wake of the Iraq/Afghanistan wars, the US military prioritized procurement of precision weapons that limited collateral damage. I'd bet my entire $300 retirement account that was a US-made Hellfire R9X missile. Designed from the start to shred terrorists, and only the terrorists. Given to Israel for free of course, as the United States is Israel's Patron Saint...
2
Russia and NK are like the Rebels; ragtag, strange alliances, always careful when and how they gather, their ships battered and showing their age. Yet, somehow they were able to destroy the Death Star and defeat the Empire.
2
There is not a square meter of the earth inhabited by humans that doesn't have a radio nearby; how do we know they aren't all rigged? Israel apparently has crafted its own "Final Solution".... If necessary, they wipe the rest of us out.
2
He is right; many noticed that change in tone a few months ago. First, DU shells, then Storm Shadow; together with the well known instance of Johnson torpedoing a viable peace plan back in December, it is abundantly clear that the UK leadership is just as committed to war as the Biden Administration. Unfortunately for Sunak, hitching his political future to that of Biden risks the same outcome should Ukraine fall. Russia is currently stomping a big, fat hole into Ukraine's arse so badly that Zelensky is today pointing the finger at NATO for the debacle. Biden hurriedly approved ATACMS yesterday; what will UK do in a moment of panic?
2
Poles in 1612. Swedes in 1708. French in 1812. Germans in 1941. Now, the AmeriBrits in 2024 (whose proxy army contains Poles, Swedes, French, and Germans). Are ya'll noticing a pattern here?? I'm not European; what is their major malfunction with Russians about? Is there a reason Europeans keep trying to invade Russia???"
2
Well, after yesterday's massacre of every Ukrainian attack, today Russia has officially announced the start of its Lyman Offensive. My guess is five weeks from now, it will be a very different story than Ukraine's offensive-----if there is even still a Ukraine that is.
2
So could NATO. Four more years of this Democrat Party BS and CNN telling us Ukraine is "winning"?? God no. Voting Trump...
2
That is it? That's what the West has gotten after almost FOUR months of the "Grand Spring Offensive" that was to break through to the Sea of Azov just in time for the NATO summit in Lithuania on JULY 12th. NATO really believed they would have shattered Russia so completely in just SIX WEEKS that Putin would have been a broken man by the middle of July. The gap between that and reality is the measure of just how massive a failure this offensive was. Past tense on purpose because this thing is over----rain is coming in a few weeks and no one is moving anywhere. NATO openly admits Russia is outproducing it in ammunition and every single one of the NATO-trained brigades with the "wunderwaffe" are engaged and being attritted as we speak. That's all we got for our $100B: Andriivka and Robotyne. Pre-war population 74 and 520 respectively.
2
Of course Ukraine must compromise. Yesterday was yet another disaster on the front for them, more Leopards destroyed, and worst of all, video of Russian's partying in front of a perfectly intact Bradley that was abandoned by its crew. We KNOW there have been secret "back channel" talks between US and Russia on ending this farce, Ukraine complained loudly last week about it and of course Biden is like "I didn't approve that" wink-wink. Zelensky knows all of this: it is why he is lashing out at any NATO member who is not 100% for what he wants; his time is running out. As we always knew, the US is doing to work this out directly with Putin and Ukraine will have to accept it.
2
Sure, because Ukraine has 30+ "buddies" giving them $100B weapons for free. However Russia has an MIC that builds all of theirs, while Ukraine's Sugar Daddies can leave at any moment... 🙂
2
LOL. The West does not possess even ONE operational hypersonic missile. Continue to cope though by all means...
2
BINGO!!!! Give this man a cigar!
2
I hear its ATACMS only (no new missiles), and only in Kursk, so Biden might be trying to inch forward without starting the Third World War. Either way, it makes life more difficult for Trump, which is probably 99% of the reason Biden changed his mind...
2
Move some more sand around...
2
$30B goes straight to Zelensky to pay salaries for everyone and float a "country" with no income. $18B goes directly to Lockheed Martin to replace the stuff Biden cleared out to send to Ukraine six months ago. Only about $12B is "net new" and of that there's only one Patriot system in there ($2B for that one alone). If anyone believes this will do anything other than keep the war going another month or two, they probably believed this whole thing was a good idea back in 2021...."
2
Once Ukraine's army breaks itself to pieces in Zaporizhzhia, the Russian steamroller will be unleashed and the 300K reservists sent forth in a flood to permanently "demilitarize" Ukraine. Some in NATO will howl loudly for US to stop them (really the only NATO country that can), and in an Election year there is a 0.0000003% chance Biden tells the American people he has to send their sons and daughters into the teeth of a battle-hardened and pissed-off Russian Army to save what's left of Ukraine. At that point Biden will have to do everything in his power to keep the Russians out of Warsaw...
2
By June Zelensky will be asking for a QE or Ford super carrier, and Biden will be scrambling to give it to them.
2
How is losing 25K soldiers out of over 300K (that is just ground forces, Navy is 150K, Air Force is 250K) going to "hurt" Russia?
2
@115ffpfcandthephantomtreble True, but Wagner were not the only engaged unit in Russia the past 15 months, correct? Something like 160,000 Regular Army have been there all along, and Wagner had no artillery units, aviation units, etc. they had to rely on Army for such support.
2
"Germany allowed the Allies to land at Normandy so they could encircle them!" 🙂
2
Wow. Finally some nato bots realized Putin has gone easy on Ukraine the whole time because they are related nations ; his problem is the Zelensky Nationalists; not the average Ukrainian Joe...."
2
Something must have changed; I've watched hundreds of vids of Iskander strikes over the past two years and maybe only ten of them ever showed up on Western Media. RU must have hit something very, very important if SKY ran this story...."
2
Wrong. UK donated, UK supported, UK intelligence, UK command, UK objectives = UK tanks."
2
It is also possible the dam thing broke and NEITHER Ukraine nor Russia actually willfully "did it". Who knows, for now the Grand Offensive is in Zaporizhzhia. Focus there Sky; unfortunately it won't be pretty for your side...
