When will our government learn? The worst thing the US can do when an uprising occurs in a non-friendly country such as Cuba is show public support for the protesters. The government of the non-friendly country will simply portray the protesters as being US tools, discredting them in the eyes of the public in the process.

@Elke Summer: And how would you know this was deliberate, hmm?
1
But will she regret ever working for it?
1
Where, in this video, did someone say "which [s]tate has voted and how"?
1
@touchofgrey5372 I know those states have started early voting, but which ones have started giving results?
1
Which government are you referring to? Spain's? If so, I don't think the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (the political party of Spain's Prime Minister) is considered a right wing party.
1
Yet you clicked on a video about it.
1
If I understood the video correctly, the rule requires that products that are reduced in size must be clearly labeled as such. If the price for the smaller product remains the same as the former size, that is technically a price increase and also must be labeled as such.
1
@Ghastly_Grinner: Be careful what you wish for. A government with that kind of power won't stop with just the companies you don't approve of. Or, as a wise person said, "If they'll do it for you, they'll do it to you".
1
@DEploribus Unum: How can every voting machine in the country be "rigged"?
1
I thought the Speaker said May couldn't bring her plan up for a third vote unless it was significantly changed?
1
Apparently, it does work for the most part in Japan, since it only had 10 gun-related crimes last year. I reiterate, 10 crimes involving a gun. In the entire nation.
1
You do realize that this very website originated in the US, don't you?
1
Everything Cool Both parties do.
1
If I was into conspiracy theories, I'd definitely be looking hard at the Republican Party and/or like minded supporters. It's the Republicans who could benefit from people casting their votes based on Trump's fear mongering.
1
@Anna Raphael: "Jab" is a British term. It means the same thing.
1
If ICE starts targeting people who don't seem to be fluent in English, you better find someplace to hide.
1
France, the country France 24 (the channel that produced this report) operates from, is not a monarchy.
1
@redvolsung I can't disagree with you about Clinton not being much better, but at least whatever she did would have been communicated in English like a relatively mature adult.
1
If you really believed that, you wouldn't have contributed to the attention the Queen's death is receiving.
1
What do Camilla's looks have to do with whether or not she should use the title of "Queen"?
1
You seriously think that there are currently no vegetarians or drug addicts in Portugal? And the high cost of housing, be it buying or renting, is currently a problem in nearly every first world country.
1
@melvinbutters2865 Why watch something you believe isn't telling the truth?
1
@melvinbutters2865 When you can answer my question, I'll continue the conversation.
1
So why didn't your ancestors stay and try to make their countries better, instead of taking the "coward[']s way out" and immigrating to the US?
1
Blaming mythological people doesn't convince people of your position.
1
If the PSOE "stole the results", then why don't they have 176 seats?
1
@Candy Vanpelt: What was not true in this video?
1
A boarder is someone who rents a room in someone else's house. What does that have to do with Trump's wall?
1
@birdatbattlefield It's KJ Gant's imaginary friend.
1
There are other people who are or will be running. Don't let the Democrats and Republicans dictate who you should be voting for in November.
1
In November, Republicans would have to gain 80 House seats and 17 Senate Seats to reach the two-thirds needed to override a veto (you know Biden would never sign a repeal of a law that he fought so hard for). The goal for the House is feasible, but not the Senate. There are only 14 Democratic Senate seats up for election this year and even if all of them were won by Republicans, they would still fall 3 seats short of the 67 votes needed to override a presidential veto. And all of the above is assuming that every Republican does vote for an override, which may not happen. There are some members of both parties that don't always goosestep with their colleagues.
1
@TheLastDonaldYouMcRonald Is it illegal under French law for a candidate to drop out and encourage her/his supporters to vote for another candidate?

The woman singing has a beautiful voice.

If I fell on hard times with a kid, I'd do everything in power to see that my kid had a decent place to sleep, regular meals, consistent bathing, and steady education even if that meant being temporarily separated (as far as living together is concerned). Yeah, that's really cruel. 🙄
1
@omusaatsawatuukha2513 I just don't get why some people seem to be against kids receiving the basic needs of life.
1
@moontakeen whitaker: Why would you expect French people to speak English when they're speaking to other French people in France?
1
@brian black: How is it Communism to say you don't want to buy a particular product? By that logic, everyone who was anti-Obamacare because of the mandate to purchase health insurance is a Communist.
1
Mai Ly Various outlets looked at the results already reported, made an educated guess about the results of the remaining votes, and came to a conclusion as to who will be the next President. That's nothing different than what's been done for decades.
1
Be careful what you wish for. Any government with that kind of power won't stop with just the religions you dislike. Or, as a wise man once said, "If they'll do it for ya, they'll do it to ya."
1
I'm probably going to regret responding, but here goes. How is it "leftist" or "communist" to let consumers know that a product they're used to buying at one size is now a smaller size and that there's no corresponding price decrease?
1
Considering whoever made the rules for the pool seem to expect people to be nearly naked as it is, I don't see how a naked protest at the pools will accomplish anything.
1
@izakopalma7093 Not that I'm not concerned about the environment, but what does that have to do with what people wear at a public pool in France?
1
Unless you're 100% indigenous American, your ancestors came to the US because of poor conditions and/or politics in their home countries. Why didn't they stay and "fix their own countries"?
1
@kenshinscott "This is a dumb idea just like child support woman can work let them continue to pay for it themselves." If you don't think men should be paying child support, then encourage them to keep their trousers zipped.
1
@riflesfirst208 Please re-read my post and you should notice that I was answering someone else's post regarding men and child support.
1
The wheat ones should be biodegradable.

Very Fake News CNN "Mommy, Obama did bad things too and his wife isn't as pretty as Melania and Ivanka!" is a lame argument.
1
Very Fake News CNN The reason I said what I did is that people like you remind me of little children tattling on other children in the hopes that Mommy will ignore their bad behavior. In this case, that means that people like you bring up everything that Obama, Clinton, Democrats in general, etc..., have or may have done wrong to distract from Trump's words and/or actions.

This Floridian didn't.
