+Randy Rogers That really all depends on your dentist. The ones I've been to in the past twenty years have all been pretty decent. In fact, the only thing that irritates me about going to the dentist is how long my appointments take.

I would guess it's because none of their songs were topping the specific charts that were mentioned at the beginning of the video. Considering the era, I wouldn't be surprised if Black artists and groups were deliberately ignored whenever these charts were compiled.
2
+jokerhalo1 Oh, gosh, yes. That's why I was really dreading her appearance in the 50th anniversary special. My thought was if she had a hissy fit over Sarah Jane, she was going to have a full blown tantrum over Clara. Thankfully, it turned out not to be Rose in the special. Billie was really good as The Moment.

+Victor Hernandez Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, etc... : )

+Sandman In the credits of the American shows, the original British ones are acknowledged, so I'm assuming Norman Lear had permission to work with the original concepts. To me, that's not technically a rip off, more like copying. And regardless of whether we call it a rip off or a copy, the likelihood of the average American having seen the original British series at that time was slim, so to them these shows were original.
2
Sandman I guess I didn't make it clear enough that it really doesn't matter if you want to call it a rip off or a copy, the main point is that the American versions were new to American audiences.
2
Sandman Look, I was just expressing my opinion as to the nuance between "rip off" and "copy". You don't have to agree with me, I'm okay with that. So let's both stop the rehashing, if for no other reason than to keep the other people on this thread from getting continual notifications that aren't really adding anything to the conversation. : )
2
+ajmittendorf Neither's Hasslehoff, but he's on the list. : )
2
+Matthew Brunette Unless someone can show me an actual transcript that recorded every word that every person in that battle said that matches the dialogue of the movie, I maintain that the movie is just as much a fiction as The Passion of the Christ. Both are based on true events, but include plausible fictional scenes and dialogue to help tell the story. : )
2
***** Wow. Thanks. : )
2
+Luke Preston Well, to be fair, Ricardo Montalban was about 15 years younger when he first appeared in the original Star Trek series.
2
+White Chocolate That Executive Order didn't address illegal immigration at all. The only people it affected were those who either already had the legal documents to come here or were in the process of obtaining them.
2
I'd rather have Krystal than White Castle.
2
The 84 Lumber ad shouldn't be on here. Commending and encouraging illegal acts is not something that should be praised.
2
It's true, though. During the last few decades of the 19th and the first couple of decades of the 20th century here in the US, there was a strong movement to ban alcohol and that culminated in the 18th Amendment to the US Constitution which did just that. The amendment was in effect from 1920 until 1933, when the 21st Amendment was passed which repealed the 18th.
2
If you're going to include British talk shows, Graham Norton is way better than Jonathan Ross. Craig Ferguson should've been on the list itself, not a "Honorable Mention".
2
1984's Spinal Tap introduced Billy Crystal to a wider audience? Uh, has WatchMojo ever heard of a sitcom called Soap?
2
+mk6rfc1 I only watched the Halloween episode and that was because one of the characters dressed up like Captain Jack Harkness. Poor guy kept on having his sexuality questioned every five minutes.
2
+Armando Antunez But, be honest, what else does it have? The only things I can think of to see that aren't theme parks are the science center, the art museum, and the Florida Mall (actually got lost in there once!).
2
I loved the Tide ad!
2
The Joker shooting and paralyzing Barbara Gordon (even if he wasn't aware that she was Batgirl) should've been a honorable mention.
2
+jack french Under the procedure set up in the US Constitution for the election of the president, the nationwide popular vote has about as much relevance as a Kardashian selfie to a blind person.
2
There are times that using a credit card can't be avoided, but for most daily purchases, we should strive to use cash as much as possible.
2
He's on the 70's list. I consider him more of an 80's character, but WatchMojo didn't ask my opinion. Oh, well. ; )
2
+MrPleers Nearly everyone did back in the 60's.
2
+Takiyah B Depends on what state you're in and possibly how old you are. Where I live, I know that children aren't allowed in the back of a pickup.
2
Most conspiracy theories don't let a small thing like facts get in the way. : )
2
Did Chapman stalk Lennon before killing him or just kill him? The beginning of the video said that people who just up and killed celebrities weren't going to be included.
2
+Dennis Bowers (Fazzel) Their fries and biscuits are to die for as well!
2
+jackdev73 Season / Series 9 finale showed an older White Time Lord regenerate into a younger Black Time Lady. Season / Series 8 introduced us to a female Master. It's entirely possible we could see a female and/or ethnic minority Doctor at some point. And as long as TPTB pick an actor / actress because of his/her talent and not his/her skin color and/or anatomy, I'm perfectly fine with a non-White and/or non-male Doctor. P.S. And I'm as far from the left as the Sun is from Pluto.
2
+Ronnie Moore I don't think Moffat and Gatiss ever claimed they were trying to make a faithful adaptation (as far as the stories are concerned). They take elements from the canon stories and some things from non-canon works and create new(ish) stories.
2
+Sonya Dingman Ron Howard didn't act much as an adult. After Happy Days, his focus shifted to directing and producing.
2
+Timothy Robinson Either it's a misprint or perhaps Jeff Beck did record his version before Stevie Wonder's in 1972, but didn't release his album until 1973.
2
+Dinoman217 Because her solo movie is coming out next year.
2
+Ricky Spanish The way I see it, he just jumped ship before the Conservative Party made him walk the plank. There was no way he was going to finish out the year without a leadership challenge.
2
Here in the US, technically what you're supposed to do is write on the front of the envelope something like "No Longer at This Address" and put it back in the mailbox. But I do agree with you that I'm not going to waste my time, the intended recipient's time, and the post office's time for obvious junk mail.
2
+Christopher Bell It does depend on what the definition of "failed" is. Kodak, although probably on its last legs, is still in business. It may be "failing", but it hasn't "failed" yet.
2
+Dena Spohn My Girl Scout troop ended its meeting early that night so we could get home in time to find out who shot him.
2
+JMG Network: I'd love to see Torchwood come back, but that's going to take some creative scheduling to allow John Barrowman to film that and Arrow.
2
I liked the Sixth Doctor. : )
2
I've heard the "Paul is dead" rumors for decades, but I've yet to hear any reason as to why the Beatles and those associated with them would go to so much trouble to keep the death from the public, hire a double who's coincidentally just as talented, then supposedly insert "clues" that reveal what they were trying to hide to begin with!
2
+Brad Wright I was hoping for a trailer during the Super Bowl, but I think they're still filming.
2
+Karen Brown I heard on France 24 that there was also a very high number of intentionally spoiled ballots as well.
2
+djuraster You might want to re-watch the video. Monty Python was number one. Extras was a Honorable Mention.
2
+Devin Mitchell Well, supposedly a lot of government officials are part of or paid off by the cartels, so it would make sense that there would be official harassment (or worse) of Mexican journalists.
2
+Roman Oropeza Nobody's looking for them to bring to trial and even if someone was, the Bushes haven't fled the US to avoid capture.
2
+Viltorm They also used CCTV America (China) and Press TV (Iran) as sources to show examples as to why other countries on this list are not journalist friendly. If this wasn't such a serious subject, I'd probably be roaring with laughter at the irony.
2
+Kamal Yuya November 2016 was my understanding.
2
+Vyselink Robin Williams would be number one.
2
+Tommy Strong Not for the purposes of this video, I agree. But in general, adopted kids are just as much the children of their adoptive parents as biological ones.
