If you watch the video at x2 it shoots the same way as what you expect from majority of other SMGs bar fringe exceptions like PPSh😅

Did YT edit out the word "allegedly" out of the whole video? Wild what an AI can do.

1)do mass association of gun owners exist? Does such statements in media hurt reputation of all members and make it harder to legislate pro-gun position? 2)are guns in US produced as part of the trade, a legal business whose sales and profits depend on reputation? 3)does a defamation charges exist in law? Can a group of people represented by a lawyer push charges? 4)why is nobody going to do anything despite dozens of "pro-gun" channels commenting on the situation? Literary, sue the bastard for defamation and ask for public apology. BEFORE he gets away with murder in court.
2
Now the real kicker - can Brandon design a belt adaptor and belt filling cranker machine for RPK-74 thus one upping soviets, who declined PU-21?
2
I miss early "tacticool" FPSs like Project IGI 😅

@plushproductions4811 and tooling. Be it polish Blyskawitza under nazi occupation, croats fighting for survival, chechen trying to break imperial yoke or some other improvised SMG including Luty himself, they all had been smoothbores. You can get the pipe that can hold the pressure. Getting rifling done is problematic without tooling. And you can't get ammo unless you captire it.
2
@KR1EGL3R Oh, sorry, let's check. Is this a section with dumb jokes about length of SVD and how apparently 4 out of 5 of UNSC permanent members are apparently "good guys" in their colonial wars? Isn't it?;)
2
Ok, I still don't get it how two miniscule metal plates count as a separate weapon of their own. Can ATF demostrate killing a person with a metal plate the size of a nail? No? Am I too european to ignore that law says weapon and not weapon part and ATF basically breaks the law(at least the part you have shown)? Wouldn't by that definition ALL drills be considered machineguns? /Looks at STEN/ And add all the plumbing equipment to that list too, I guess? I can understand a person, who OWNS said part getting into trouble IF said part would be found installed on their rifle, but any case beside that seems like the written law is just ignored. Welcome to USSR, I guess😂
2
Well, if russian media calls peacefull protesters in Belarus an armed nationalist uprising then these events in Washington would look like WW3 to them.
2
The most ironic part is that the same government that tries to disarm populationat the same time is supporting militarisation of the police. Jokes about knives aside, when people mention that people in Europe don't need guns(without asking us if we agree btw. History would have been a bit different if 2nd amendment existed in countries that border Russia, France, Russia, Germany, Russia, Austria and Russia), they don't mention that police is also far less armed. In case of UK they're disarmed. So make government legislations work for both police and citizens. Make SWAT teams in California use only state compliant guns and fully disarm cops in NYC!🤣

While technically gyrojet idea comes from the minituarization of existing active-reactive/rocket assisted artillery shells, the difference is that it is NOT two stage weapon like those. In fact I don't recall gyrojet ammo ever tested together with main charge casing. While 40k Bolter was inspired (it was plagiated from Deathworld novel), bolter is specifically two stage weapon. Which to this day no 40k media had portrayed properly as they forget either the rocket part or the accelerator charge part😅
2
Now "improve" ie butcher it by adding 1)barrel extension(if I recall right PPSH-41 has barrel length below optimal for sake of energy of 7.62x25 round), 2)increasing RoF even further for no reason(it's open bolt gun that would work even faster with more energy available); 3)monopod forward handle(aka Erma EMP one); 4)Suomi sights;)
2
@davidames9098 that's a spam bot, look at the thread. Asking it anything won't provide an answer:D Just report it.

@evs251 sometimes I wonder why humanity even exists... today is one of those days...

Just send the printer to the guys developing the NLAW distance measuring angle tool. Not sure it'll help to get them to operators in the field, but who knows \/(-_-)\/ Plus it'll count as another middle finger to ATF as it'll be used to help defend constitution of another state.

@funnyvalentinedidnothingwrong Fallout 4's "assault rifle" is just a machine gun. Just treat it like that. It has .50 option mentioned on concept art, while actual assault rifle was in the game files and later on resurfaced in DLC. They just wanted to add a gun for DLC so they removed it. Yes, it's pretty much just Lewis. And don't get me started on Combat Rifle/Combat Shotgun combo that uses the same model for obvious irl reason, but for the very stupid in-game one:(
2
I thought that we settled that debate ages ago... by agreeing that battle rifles are cooler even if not always better!

Me, a random viewer from eastern Europe who's happy about any new sanction on Putin even if they are so minor:D

+Brandon Herrera Well, how about third character to put those two to shame? Mosin guy. Just look up AR-15 vs AKM vs Mosin memes. https://cs5.pikabu.ru/post_img/2014/04/17/7/1397727729_1357848747.png https://cs5.pikabu.ru/images/big_size_comm/2014-03_6/13958288695686.jpeg

@goodguymcgee4142 12.7*108 use by DShK, NSV, KORD is not the same round as 14.5*114 used KPV. Please don't say "technically" when you're spreading misinformation. Have a nice day;)
2
@Gibson343088 Jokes about it being a glorified lever action aside, I'm refering to the fact that Colt-Browning M1895 was a part of "original trio" of first machineguns. Madsen was LMG, Maxim was HMG and Colt was MMG. But while Madsen and Maxim were improved and modernized(the patterns serving to this day are actually pre-WWII versions), Colt was thrown to the wayside. I get that M1919 is far better and deserves the praise, I just feel like M1895 deserves to be remembered too.

How about a "cursed gun" video on SPIW, AAI, OKB prototypes and other "weird" guns of that era that seemed to solve short range accuracy through volume of fire before second gen(5.56 and 5.45) intermediate cartridges and burst fire became a common thing?
2
@demanischaffer They should have warned the terrorists of assault preparations, right? Or maybe allow them to blow it all up? Are you all nice and cozy in your armchair, Mr.Expert?:D

Degtyarev was a great designer... who sadly wasn't a fan of finishing, refining and fixing his designs. He could have made a belt feed adapter for DP-28 just like Shpagin did for his(Degtyarov's) DK turning it into renowned DShK(deserving or not is different question), but instead he chased new medal for new gun aka DS-39. Which wasn't ready neither for adoption, nor for mass production. Imagine if soviet troops had RP-46 in 1941? Gunner being able to use drums on the move and switch to belt feed when he gets into position and assistant gunner with adapter and belts catches up?
2
@jic1 from what I've seen on .243 Win it's around 2700J while all info I had on 6x49 uses figures of 3300-3500J. So... not exactly?

@seanjohnson9688 how is 1911 suddenly involved and n this?0_o
1
@seanjohnson9688 revolver used in a movie about Wild West era is somehow semiautomatic pistol? Is that your final statement?
1
P.S.: are braces useful in their "intended" role? Can it allow a medium sized person to use shield and shotgun for example?
1
The AFT screenshot you uploaded is from 2014. You've meant some other one?0_o

Orwell's "Why I write" intensifies...
1
@calvinsbeard7423 even more ironic in that Teal'c never misses when using his 37mm autocannon with infinite ammo and no need to be cleaned or maintained, disguised as a staff. Same goes for whole SG-1 using Zatts, that have automatic fire and desintegratematter on molecular level on third shot. Meanwhile the weapon the show compares them to is a plastic piece of shit:D

Now that my YT stopped dying (because mobile version sucks for the last 4 years straight), let me elaborate a little bit. It DOES disturb people outside US. Because US just like Switzerland and Israel are one of the few examples of armed population not being a disaster. And unlike the other two, without military involvement. For a LOT of countries it is important as an example that can be used to argue in favor of certain legislations. The whole mess going on right now wouldn't be happening if Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia had armed populace. So when US decides to have a nother brainfart and shoot itself in the leg it kind of DOES invalidate a certain line of arguments important to state with either authoritarian history or/and with insane neighbours. But here we instead have policy on "it's okay to arm 18 year old boys to kill other kids because we said so, but allowing guns for self defense is a big no-no". Worst part? Even after Putin, Lukashenko and so on, we'd still most likely not going to scrape back the right to bear arms from whichever state comes next.
1
This thing reminds me of russian BMPT "Terminator" which has two autocannons... because they couldn't afford to develop new autocannon with double feed so one autocannon is loaded with AP ammo, the other with HE and the whole mess combined is just sad and could have been avoided by using autocannon with double feed \/(-_-)\/ I feel like there needs to be charity for russian engineers to escape Russia and work for employers, who have modern day tech, budget and brains. Oh wait, that's what Israel was doing for last 40 years:D P.S.: it was also used in Dark Fate. Mostly to discredit one of the heroines by how clumsy and pointless that gun was:(
1
US government: so, we're going to oppress you and take away your rights. You: no, you can't do it, I will defend them. Polish government: so, we're going to oppress you and take away your rights. You: slay, king.

@pissedpajamas5718 or QJB-95 75 round drum. Or using same NATO drum on FAMAS. They all suck. Because drums on bullpups don't work because human anatomy is a thing. Bullpups are made to minimise the dimensions of the gun while retaining somewhat usable barrel length. Drums are opposite of that. It's like assembling the best .338 sniper rifle you can... and then cutting barrel to 5 inches. That's the same level of logic. Or rather of its absence.
1
Ah yes, soviet PDW from alternate reality where 5.6x39(don't mistake this soviet round for 5,56x45) was chosen over 5,45x39 and then brought to same caliber as 6x49(I know Grendel is 6,5, but it didn't start that way) that was supposed to replace both 7,62x39 and 7,62x54
1
@stevenparson0 but that's not possible. Or do you mean the outside look?
1
@stevenparson0 maybe. But then he'd only help to feed the myth about AK somehow being connected to STG with picture of that abomination ending up as false claimed "AK prototype" and so on. Nah, duck that.
1
What's the context on "Cody is homeless" joke?
1
And then USMC had summoned the spirit of Kalashnikov to make M27 IAR...
1
The irony of people not knowing about soviet 6x49mm bullet which was developed to replace both "obsolete" 7.62x39 and 7.62x54... I wonder if there is a market for such rifle...
1
@alperakyuz9702 But then it'll make his statement right, wouldn't it? He as a man without proper training didn't have proper training to check the firearm and ammo and thus he was a danger to others. Correct?
1
@jeffschulz1972 wait, what do you mean she had no idea what she was doing? Why was she doing this job then?0_o
1
@jnrminecraftmad3791 usually when the thought "hey, that can be used in a Hitman game" crosses your mind, it's your final warning that it's time to duck and cover.
1
@clothar23 Oh, and I thought you were making a poor joke about Kentucky Ballistics and his Serbu .50... and unaware of the fact that Mosin in 12.7x108 kind of existed and was even used in WWII
1
Brandon, ehm, have you seen Ian's latest video? https://youtu.be/1nQzFGe1yMk That's beyond cursed.
1
Doesn't he has an older sister that is colonel or something that was answering for protection of her father and all their family? Why won't she become a leader instead of his child daughter?
1
Tbh the second shot made me think that standard safety procedures might not work with gyrojet. It can literally accelerate AFTER ricocheting! Would be cool to see you try to create two stage(aka initial charge pushes the round before rocket engine ignites) gyrojet round for shotgun or for your Milkor.
