@Tapper1969 Inflation isn't irrelevant. If we keep our investment in Public services static, and inflation increases then the level of provision we get from public services reduces. Spending more on the NHS for example means we are buying more goods and services from the PRIVATE sector such as hospital equipment, medicines etc. This causes prices to go upwards and you're spending power reduces, you are therefore getting LESS for your money and this the NHS can supply less of a service. I didn't say spend less on the NHS, I said that public services consume private goods and services by default which is a cause of inflation, especially in times of low growth such as now as more money is chasing fewer goods. No one even mentioned bloody immigrants did they?
2
@Tapper1969 Demand pull inflation, more demand chasing the same amount of goods pushes prices up. The NHS budget is used to procure goods and services from the private sector. We need to reform the NHS anyway, not just give it more money.

Presumably ill, or maybe his 99 year old mother isn't doing so well and he's had to go over.
2
Do you think JSO deserve respect? They're a joke cult of indoctrinated morons.
2
@thiskiwigal Many people make wishes, throw money in fountains, cross fingers etc, but it makes absolutely zero difference.
2
@kobusyssel2840 There is absolutely zero evidence that Jesus was not just an ordinary man, no evidence exists anywhere of divinity, miracles or resurrection. If Jesus was so amazing, why couldn't anyone who met him he bothered to write about him?
2
@Void-uj7jd please explain how it is different when there is zero evidence a god exists and zero evidence prayer works.
2
@ayoolukoga9829 How is it "talking"? It's speaking in a one way direction, without reply to a deity that hasn't even been proven to exist, it's no better than closing your eyes and making a wish.
2
@piratesfan123 Worse than that is certain factions claiming that you have to be gay to play a gay person, have to be trans to play a trans person. It's called fucking acting. They never ask for a murderer to play a murderer or a thief to play a thief do they?
2
Who cares?
2
@BrianMcGuirkBMG No they can't. If I got made redundant tomorrow, I'd have enough money to keep myself for a year because I'm clever enough to understand it can happen. If you're on 60k, you'll be at a company who pays you a good redundancy, besides doctors aren't made redundant. The point is if you're on 60k it's a LIE to say you can't afford lunch. I've earned from 20k all the way to over 100k and never have I had a problem affording lunch. They're either stupid, can't budget or are liars.
2
Eh? There has never been a better time to be alive.
2
This guest Charlie is a wet blanket. Never accepts how useless the Tory's are.
2
@natashajones3206 Doesn't explain why Sturgeon had to go there. They can't vote for Sturgeon
2
@wezzathegreat3827 No one is claiming it is.
2
It is ridiculous. There are no valid reasons anymore
2
Why? You don't get to vote on constituencies you used to live in.
2
Please stop having these indoctrinated children on.
2
They will get trampled down by runners. These guys have trained for MONTHS for this race. No one is getting in the runners way.

I have

The hajib isn't banned in Austria. I saw one yesterday working at a toll station. The burka on the other hand might well be.
2
@matthendin YOU DON'T dredge streams and rivers, only estuaries are dredged to stop sand bank build up and maintain navigation routes. Freshwater rivers are NOT dredged. You'd destroy the entire ecosystem of the river.
2
@Itsallthesameshht You don't get a vote on everything. You vote for a party to do things.
2
Has Esther fallen out with Talkradio? She used to be on all the time but not any more.
2
The Tesla Model Y is the worlds best selling car. There's nothing wrong with electric cars IF you have the infrastructure. That's the problem in the UK.
2
@scottwills4698 You can make a claim all you like, but there is nowhere near 80% of car owners that can be charged at home or at work. Where are you getting this from? Why don't you actually go out and look in a city in the UK you don't know and see just how few people have allocated parking. The claim that 80% do screams of a man who lives in an insular world and because 80% of his neighbours have such access, then everyone does. It's bollocks.
2
It's hard to believe there's a town worse than Blackpool.
2
Why did they need the police to destroy it. Just club it to death yourself.
2
Virtually no one in Britain is actively a practicing Christian, so why wouldn't the BBC cancel this nonsense?
2
@nadiasawicki4108 There's practicing Christians in Iran, Iraq, Dubai etc, that doesn't make them Christian countries. Religious beliefs are embarrassing, get over yourself.
2
Boris was a useless, bumbling c**t. Why can't Tories just accept the election is lost and there is nothing that be done about it. It's what happens when you're in 14 years. You get voted out.
2
She's the biggest bore on Talk Radio.
2
What do batteries produce?
2
If you knew anything about cars you'd know they are BEV's. Battery Electric Vehicles.
2
@bentonks7751 I do, and they are fine, but my caveat for them working is very simple and it's infrastructure, so I'm not being a zealot or a fan boy, I'm being very specific about WHEN they work. Those of you in the UK shouldn't be deriding electric cars, you should be deriding the lamentable infrastructure which isn't good enough in the UK. For the record I live in Norway, which is currently probably the only country in Europe where they make sense. I agree with you the UK isn't ready yet. PS. Your TV remote and phone ARE electric. They both use electrical power derived from the batteries within them.
2
You're looking at a country with 5.5m with one which is nearly 70m.
2
@Le1fur It's not an excuse, it's a perfect realisation that most people in Finland live in a few places. Distributing heated water around the UK would be a logistical nightmare. Given that I live in Norway I can confirm that it is not the case that Nordic countries do this as a matter of course. Also, why would a country look at investing in that NOW? They want to move away from the production of energy where hot water is produced, so all that investment would simply be wasted as oil and gas fired power stations will continue to reduce.
2
@Le1fur That isn't actually true. It is a lie that every city has a powerstation. Why don't you go and have a look at a map of UK powerstations I agree that the UK is lazy, hence why I left but you haven't answered why they should set this up at the cost of billions for a system in which oil/gas powered stations are being phased out.
2
@Le1fur No every major Cory does not, and you still are ignoring that we are getting away from this idea of heated water driving turbines Government's don't dictate energy prices.
2
@Le1fur Well considering you lied about ALL Nordic countries doing this and then lied about every city on the UK having its own power station which produces hot water why would I believe you about Russia? Russia is a country with masses amounts of natural resources and unending supplies of gas. They simply have no incentive to have spent billions on providing hot water heating for free. I agree we will have oil and gas fuelled energy for decades, but you try and sell that with all the eco nuts around.
2
Looks like when Terminator 2 got shot in the eye.
2
@seanjones180 Why is it religious hatred? You probably haven't seen the whole interview, but Anderson (albeit clumsily and probably falsely) accuses Kahn, London AND Starmer as being in thrall of ISLAMISTS, I'm presuming you don't consider islamists to be genuine Muslims? Why is it "Islamophobic" if you refer to Khan, but not if you refer to London or Starmer?
2
@seanjones180 I'm anti islam, I'm anti all religions. Why wouldn't you be?
2
@seanjones180 You have ignored that Anderson said Khan. AND London and Starmer were under the control of Islamism. Why is it only Islamophobic in relation to Khan? (I'm not saying Anderson's claims are correct by the way) Khan, London and Starmer have CERTAINLY been blind and ignored Islamism.
2
Your beliefs are LAUGHABLE.
2
@mda5003 They don't, it's just an urban myth.
2
🏀🏀
2
@AcerbicDelicacy It's not Islam that claims it's the same. It's experts on Abrahamic religions. It is THE SAME FAIRY TALE

Never seen an episode of Friends

4th birthday? Why are you saying that as a matter of pride? You should be toilet trained between 2-3 at the latest.
