  4. I really doubt the medical examiner stated he was murdered. More likely he called it a homicide. Murder is a legal term and would mean the death was unlawful. In America, only a jury can determine that, not a medical examiner, or a France24 reporter.

More like a slow drip, with the occasional small skirmishes, quite a few of which were initiated by aborigines themselves, and then in the late 19th century and also after WW2, the population really starts to grow.

(unlike migration from eastern Europe for example) If you sum up the average benefits and costs, taxes paid and benefits received, it ends up a negative amount. (in my country in the order of about 100.000,- euros per migrant)

  20. That's not how it happened. Crimea was surreptitiously invaded by Russia, and the invaders then organized a snap referendum for independence. The separatist movement in the Donbas was inspired by that. All this happened after the former president Yanukovych fled the country like a thief in the night, leaving the country in turmoil. All of this happened in mere weeks and Ukraine was in such turmoil that talk of "economic assistence" would ridiculous. And just fyi, the referendum in the Donbas region was actually a complete fraud, since the Ukrainian secret service published the result of it 4 days before the actual referendum.

  33. Ntk2k3 K17 -- Unarmed does not mean harmless. There is nothing harmless about trying to create a political mandate for secession. Trying to stop this vote so that it does not exist to act upon is of vital importance. This is serious business, and they can give no quarter here. Btw, I deleted my earlier comment because you seemed to be talking about something that was said somewhere else. I initially made an assumption about it, but then right after posting realized it might be better for Steven Hombrados to respond to it himself.

  34. Ntk2k3 K17 -- I don't know if they stopped it from taking place or not. The secessionists have an interest in portraying it as a success, even if it failed and vice versa for the Spanish government. It's about the perception, not what actually happened. If the Spanish PM says the vote did not take place, he most likely means that the use of force was able to prevent it, not that there was no attempt. The use of force does make them look bad, but sitting idly by is probably worse. Not only would they be likely to lose the region, but then other regions might follow suit.

These Spaniards were themselves journalists working together with an anti-poaching organization and they were captured by some "mysterious" gunmen. These might be poachers, or Buddhist monks, or some other group entirely, the video does not clarify this.

  44.  @samuelsilver8077  Same here. I just assumed every candidate wins the states that are currently leaning towards them, and accounted for Maine and Nebraska's split vote. With Maine I assumed Trump would win just one electoral vote. If he wins 2 then it would be a split of 269-269, which I think would mean Trump would actually win.

And as for the insured having to pay for the uninsured, I know this is an argument used in the US against their current healthcare system, but it is not how that system is supposed to work but just what ends up.happening And here the opposite is being proposed, the uninsured are expected to pay for those that are insured.
