  14.  @davidbielski3484  Trudeau is going through hearings concerning his calling of the Emergencies Act. The Act calls for hearings to start within 6 months after the Act is called to see if they were warranted. Things aren't going well in the hearings but I doubt much will come of it. They'll resolve that it was wrong to call the Act, that Trudeau should be sanctioned and then they'll demand that the Act be reviewed and changed to prevent this kind of egregious response in the future.

  15.  @josemachado6942  Yes....they did. He defended himself from someone who attacked him, from behind. He was being choked and could have died, just like George Floyd DID die. He warned the guy and he wouldn't stop choking him. So he shot him...rather than face the possibility that in a couple of minutes he might be dead. Then the DA has him charged with murder and his landlord kicks him out of his building. The system was rigged against him and considering the effects of his injuries in the war, he saw no way out. The DA basically told him that he'd rather see him dead by murder than to protect himself from the man that attacked and was using a lethal choke hold against him. Yeah.....the DA, especially, was a major contributor in the destruction of this man's life.

No sitting Republican politician ever owned a slave....only Democrats. The president of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis, was a life long Democrat. Democrats want to abolish the Confederate flag because it symbolises slavery but they don't want to abolish the party that sacrificed lives in an effort to KEEP slavery. The hypocrisy is astounding.

I warned Democrat supporting friends that Hillary, the Dems and the MSM were campaigning badly and that if they kept it up, they were going to lose. Since then, they've turned into lying, conniving jerks and yet die hare Dem supporters just keep up their deceitful ways. They are going to lose and lose badly next election. Worse than Goldwater did in '64. They just won't learn from their mistakes. This isn't what we need running the most powerful country in the world.

  20.  @TheJeffL  The law doesn't apply but the fact that she would break the law, if the time came, gives the business the right to fire her. Her comment reflects badly on the business. You can't publicly state that you'd do something that might negatively impact your place of employment and expect the business to back you up. People could refuse to go to that business over what she said and that's reason enough to fire her. Please....DO. BETTER.

  22. I remember when David Pakman got a big return on his tax returns due to Trump's tax cuts. He said he felt bad and that he didn't deserve that money. After snipping back and forth a couple of times, I commented that if he felt so bad, why not give it to charity. Now, he has the money, that would have went to the government to spend on their favorite social program, to give to his OWN favorite social program or charity. He doesn't have to petition the government to invest in solar power, if that's his cause. He can do it himself. Apparently, he wasn't very happy with my suggestion because that's the last I heard from him.

  24. It's not a matter of liking Trump. It's that the modern left media and the Democrats may well be the worst political faction in US history. I don't have to like Trump to truly hate the politics of the left. I'm very supportive of the efforts that Trump is showing in this fight against the coronavirus but I can see where he's not very likeable, especially to hear him speak. However, he's doing a good job and he's assembled an excellent team and that's his job. On that alone, I'd vote for him. He knows how to delegate responsibility to its maximum effect, a sign of a successful leader. I still don't think I'd hang out with him.....but I could be wrong.

  25. It's the lie of socialism. Socialism offers free stuff and a life without struggle but it will, invariably, lead to disaster. There is no such thing as free stuff. It has to produced, which means work. You can't look around you, right now, in your home, and find something that wasn't the result of someone's labour. It's how we survive. We're sophisticated hunter/gatherers and if we stop long enough, we will begin to go hungry. The right understands this. The left believes that altruism is infinite. It's not.

I've had to sign one. The only time it's illegal is when it's in the furtherance of an underlying crime. Since it isn't about consent, like you said, then where's the crime? The entire thing is ridiculous. Why all the salacious details? It's irrelevant to the details and it's highly prejudicial. "He spanked me with a rolled up newspaper". What a weirdo....that's the response they want. "You remind me of my daughter". Yeah....right. Another talking point that has NOTHING to do with payments. It's designed to disgust the jury and nothing else. It can't be proven and the judge shouldn't have allowed it. The entire trial is like that. Worse, the judge's daughter works for the DNC. Talk about a conflict of interests. Even pundits at CNN and MSNBC are questioning it and they HATE Trump. It should be dismissed and don't be surprised if it is.

  33.  @plick645  My daughter has had severe hives break out all over her body since she received the Moderna vaccine. It started the day after she got the jab. She'll be clear and it will suddenly appear within 10 minutes and is quite pronounced and the appearance is random. She's quite hesitant about a second one. She's going to see an allergy specialist but she's still not sure about getting the second shot no matter what that specialist says. She has had a history of shellfish allergies, though. As of now, she's not eligible to get an exemption for a vaccine passport. So, I'm asking for a good reason for that evidence.

  35.  @beejcarson  Another thing that you don't understand is that this wealth isn't in cash. It's in assets like property or stocks. This means that they'll have to sell off their assets to pay their taxes. Who's going to be able to afford to buy it? No one will want it because now THEY'LL be the ones who will be in those high tax brackets. If they can't liquidate their assets, their businesses will face bankruptcy, which means their creditors will be stuck with the loans that won't get paid off. That could mean even MORE bankruptcies and lost jobs. The rich will get poorer and this big money grab will be gone. So what will the government do? It'll lower the wealthy bracket from 100 million dollars down to 50 million bucks and start ANOTHER cycle of bankruptcies. It'll drive the economy into stagnation and then depression. All you're able to see are big piles of cash and numbers with a lot of zeros in them. You're so fraught with envy and resentment of their success that you can't see how these new taxes will impact the lives of ordinary Americans, including your own life. Please stop allowing your resentment and hatred, of your own life and perceived failures, destroy our country and how good things actually are. Things are a lot better than you think they are, as long as you don't gauge your life by the lives of others.

If one person is left out then "lives matter" isn't applicable, either. In fact "All" specifies the totality of the "lives matter" and insists that it's ALL lives not just the vague "lives matter".

  40. adamshattuck1985 There's difference in studying the Bible as academic study then as a theological truth that pertains to certain specific faiths. You can't go to a public university that teaches Catholicism as the true faith so that one can go on to become a priest. For that you have to go to a private Catholic University. That holds true for any branch of any religion. Public universities study religion and its influence on history and society and is a generic discipline.

Fascism is a socialist political ideology and, as such, can be extremely dangerous. The only reason that we think that Fascism is far right is because socialist didn't want to be associated with Fascism after WW2. The Socialists got this idea when Marxist called Mussolini a right wing socialist. They even said that about Lenin when his economy was failing and he allowed limited free enterprise. Marxists just dropped "socialist" off that Marxist criticism of Mussolini and it left "right wing" and it worked. Now, almost everyone calls Fascism "right wing". Another way that radical socialists use "newspeak".

In fact, there are 1.5 million in the entire world so your facts are not even close to accurate. How can we be expected to take you seriously if you can't even get a basic stat correct. WHO and the UN have said lock downs should be a last resort move. They're telling us that we will soon be facing the greatest humanitarian crisis since WW2 due to great economic losses. It could be much WORSE than Covid will ever be. Tens of millions are facing starvation and this time it'll be children that are the most at risk. That's also from "the experts". However, politicians can't use tyrannical powers to exercise control over the masses.

  49. I think his point is that if you don't have the talent or drive to succeed you'll not be able to take advantage of the hand up. It can work but it seldomly leads to that top success if you don't have the ability in your specific field. That's what Weinstein did. He spotted the talent and then offered them the road to success in exchange for sexual favours. Those who didn't have the talent would just fade away into obscurity. The talented would get the success that they craved.

  50. My adopted niece spent 2 years in a hospital, waiting for a kidney transplant. Her kidney problems are the result of abuse from her drug addicted mother, who neared starved her to death when she was 3 years old. She finally got her kidney when she was 15. However, she's had rejection issues and it's been a struggle ever since, but that didn't stop her. She's now in her mid twenties, married and a mother, even though the doctors told her that child birth might kill her. Her little boy is now one year old and my niece refused to let her husband get up and tend to the baby in the middle of the night, in spite of her health issues. She gets up cheerfully, smiling and singing softly to her little one, saying that her husband works 50 to 60 hours a week and needs the rest. When I hear a full grown man, who has the world by its privates, carry on about hard times, I can't help but grit my teeth. He couldn't spend a day in my niece's shoes. No respect for people like him.
