@nanyanguo1 for some it is - for others " if their studies were paid ofr the the Chn Gvt the deal is "come home is we need you" and Chn are starting to tell them to come home"
4
@ncgn13 HAHAHAH thats genuinely funny
4
@nanyanguo1 OK good explanation
4
OZEMPIC is about $85 a month here in my EU country

CHINA WATCHED THE USA BANKRUPT THE USSR and it vowed it would never happen to them - so they integrated every part of the US economy into their own Meaning the US could never engage in either a cold or a hot war with China
3
THE SINGLE BIGGEST MISTAKE THE WEST MAKES is thinking the Chinese think like we do - they DONT. Xi will have been more worried about the recent floods than US competition or tariffs. Different people - different priorities - different philosophies
3
The scale of what they do in China is simply mind-blowing. They are the logistic Gods of the universe. They can build a hospital in 11 days on sight cos they have standardised it and its all built in a factory line, they just arrive on site with 300 bulldozers and 50 cranes and 2000 men, who have all done it 50 times before and 12 days later patients walk in.
3
MY BIGGEST WORRY FOR THE WORLD is the fact Am3ric4 will in NO WAY be able to cope psychologically with losing its position as global No1 It is going to start SO MANY wars over this
3
QUESTION....!?!?!? Do you think China will buy all Columbia's Coffee and Oil now Trump has blackmailed Columbia with tariffs...??? Columbia's coffee is among the best in the world and there is a coffee shortage in China I believe?
3
Its why the HS2 train line i the UK cost £100 billion and was abandoned - no one wanted their view spoiled by a train so they had to burry it in endless tunnels You cant upset middle class voters
3
@CrucesNomad1 No it wont be fine
3
AM3RIC4 HAS LOCKED ITSELF OUT OF THE REST OF THE WOLRD who wants to deal with the US when 1) It the past not the future 2) Its toxic - G4Z4 3) It stole Russia's $$$ 4) It will sanction you if it feels like it 5) It will put tariffs on you when it feels like it 6) It will break any trade agreement with you when it feels like it

I DROVE S CLASS MERCEDES for 25 years - I had 5 of them. I would NEVER buy another - way overpriced for plastic crap. My neighbour has an S650 Maybach €200k, it has a fake leather dashboard, chromed plastic switches and air vents, and more RGB lighting than a Twitch streamer's bedroom. Another neighbour has a €28k Chinese EV and honestly is 80% as good as the Maybach. WESTERN CAR COMPANIES ARE CRUISING ON PAST NAME RECOGNITION

As someone pointed out "NO people don't become more conservative as they get older, never have. Just wealthy [conservative] people live a lot longer than miners and steel mill workers or poor people"
3
WEAPONIZING THE $USD to the extent they have was a BAD idea for the US
2
@EsromNhira-vw1vq Many in the EU dont - thats why the far right just did so well in the EU elections. Im NOT far right, but I understand their issue. They are poorer cos the US said "sanction Russia cos we say so" everyone knew it would not work. If sanctions worked NK would be a democracy.
2
@davidlazarus67 Its NOT permanent - see my comments above
2
@antwango Hi Im not actually in Columbia - Im an author in Europe but I thought the cost of Coffee was going up a lot in China, consumption is apparently going up by 30% per year and I thought China was having. supply difficulties keeping up with the exploding demand. I dont mean empty shelves so much as high prices. According to the internet "9.03% [price] since the beginning of 2025,"
2
" is not a serious country anymore:" well said - its a hyper financialised oligarchy. Everything is done for the further enrichment of the rich - even if it damages the country and the institutions.
2
@kavinho YES - 10 points to that man. The excess $$$ are not getting "soaked up" by international demand
2
THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE IT Am3ric4 is losing control of the global reserve currency - whilst the global reserve remains the $USD
2
YEP - the Am3ric4n military is a fighting military its a money extraction and transfer militery
2
Thats not quite true - its when the empire has STARTED collapsing that the Hubris and Arrogance kick in. An empire at its peak is still intellectual and responsive, but as soon as it starts to slide into the abyss it becomes arrogant and defensive, and it hastens the collapse. If Hubris and Arrogance are present - the empire is already in decline.
2
@hengongchua6250 Tens of Thousands Indians are said to be waiting for any visa - y9u cant draw conclusions from this
2
THE US MILITARY IS ENTIRELY OBSOLETE they have 4 nuclear carriers in the Red Sea area and they cant keep it open cos the Houthi have an ali express drone buyer plus account This is the Maxim Gun moment of the 21st century
2
NO - China bad is all you are allowed to hear
2
@ZweiZwolf The problem in the UK is that all trains use the same lines, freight, commuter and high speed. So its not about saving time - its about getting the high speed trains off the tracks with the freight and commuter trains cos the system is at 130% of capacity and the load on the system is literally wearing the system out as well as posing a safety risk. It needs the slow stuff on one system and the high speed stuff on another.
2
@elliekwong3180 I am most definitely NOT blaming the doctors. I am criticising the system.
2
@fidesedquivide3486 Dude go look at a Huawei Stelios S9, its 5 X better than any car Tesla has to offer " Chinese love to copy and lower the quality of products they copy". NO dude - they lead the way in everything now, the west and especially Am3ric4 is so far behind. Am3ric4 does NOT make 2nm chips - Taiwan makes them for Am3ric4 on machines made in the Netherlands - Am3ric4 is the CUSTOMER they are not "Am3ric4n Chips" as you keep claiming. You are an ex empire living in a fantasy world where your media lies to you that you are still king of the castle

@geoff9858 Ok this is kinda my job, this is my opinion. China will become globally dominant through soft power and raising other countries [continenets] up with it - Africa and South America. The entire balance of the globe will shift over the next 25 years America is truly fkd long term - it has nothing to offer the world except 6om6s and the world is sick of those. The EU is probably fkd but does not have to be - it makes the worlds luxury goods and the people in the upcoming nations WANT luxury goods, it could ahve a good furute if it does not mess it up. Russia will become the world mineral mine - its the only place you can dig lots of stuff up and not annoy voters cos there are none, the population density is close to zero in the bits with minerals. India -- its really hard to say as its politically dependant, it has potential but it also has the potential to destroy itself along ideological lines. The single biggest problem the world faces if the US being TOTALY unable to cope with its loss of position. The $USD relies on being the reserve to have value - that's ending right now. The US solves everything with 6om6s so expect a LOT of violence initiated by the US.
2
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT FOR 3 YEARS I knew this was coming - China has been sucking up $USD and cashing out of $USD bonds etc. I knew they had a plan to take control of the reserve currency whilst allowing it to remain the $USD - I just could not figure out HOW they intended to do it
2
ITALY HAS ALREADY BANNED IT Meloni sucking up to Trump and Musk
2
IN 15 YEARS WE WILL ALL GET UBI paid for by China so we can keep buying the stuff they design and make - cos the West wont have ANY economy left... We will all rely on Chinese benefit payments
2
@peanut0brain I live in Burgas Bulgaria now. $165 a month rent for a beach front apartment, 10% flat rate income tax, free quality healthcare, busy thriving high streets, 300 days of sunshine a year.
2
I HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR 3 YEARS the US has just had the Maxim Gun moment of the 21st century Everything it owns is suddenly obsolete
2
THROUGH THE LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES this little car led to Am3ric4 losing all access to Africas mineral resources
2
Dont let china stress you out. If it is you are thinking of it as another Am3ric4 - its NOT. They think differently, they are not a threat to Am3ric4 liek Am3ric4 is to the world.
2
@seeker2118 EXACTLY!!! Am3ric4ns the failing US want to be told that China is a joke and collapsing because their individual egos are directly tied up with the No1 position of the US.
2
YES - the 100% sanctions on Chinese EV's led, through a chain of events - all logical and far-sighted, to Am3ric4 losing all control in Africa. Here is a synopsys: China in response to 100% tariffs has stopped buying US assets and treasury bonds The problem for China is the $800 billion trade surplus - they collect $3 billion a day they need to do something with, its no use to them just collecting it> So they are giving it in $USD to African countries to pay off the $USD loans and the country can pay BACK the loan in either local currency or Yuan ALTERNATIVELY Instead of paying back the loan they can spend the money on chinese green energy products in a kind of Chinese Martial plan This deprives the US of $800 billion a year AND essentially pays off the African countries debt for them AND gives the African countries essentially free / subsidised renewable energy AND solves Chinese green energy overproduction caused by the US 100% ttariffs AND it Lockes the US out of Africa If you have been struggling under 40 years of US debt and someone just pays it off and gives you dirt cheap renewable energy are you going to trade with the country that gave you 40 years of crashing debt of the one who paid it off and gave you infinite free electricity…???? I’m not sure Biden and Co expected the result of the 100% tariffs to be total loss of control over Africa

@denislim123 In digital Yuan now - peir to pier and untraceable
1
I STARTED WRITING A BOOK 4 YEARS AGO and actually this was a central premise of the book
1
@themiddlekingdom9121 Its not actually - its the sheer size of Turkey and the low cost of production. It would collapse the EU.

One day Peter Zeihan will talk about carpentry and you'll think "OMG this guy knows NOTHING and he talks with such certainty as if he is the world expert on carpentry - if he lies like this about carpentry he is probably lying about everything" And he is. He is utterly clueless. I know about China and I know he knows nothing. Brits said he knows nothing about Britain. Experts on Russia say the same. He will get around to carpentry one day.
1
@FunnyBunny-pd5xx On the other hand I can just ring my friends who live there as I live 400km from Odessa
1
@FunnyBunny-pd5xx YT comments is virtually unusable these days.
1
Dont forget the 6om6s, the US makes great 6om6s...!!!
1
Its not actually Sinophobia by the Govt. The $USD only has value cos the US is global No1. So its used as the reserve. If the US is not No1, there is nothing to back up the $USD - they dont make anything, they dont ADD VALUE. So the USD will crash if they are not No1. SO the US endlessly damages over countries to stop them from competing. The sanctions on Russia were much more about damaging the EU then stopping the war.
1
I would say the biggest thing Westerners, especially Am3ric4ns, get wrong about China is "Chinese culture teaches peace and prosperity for all humans". They think Chinese people think like they do.
1
@chaoskid1211 You did read it, sad little person
1
@chaoskid1211 WOW WHAT AN ASTONISHINGLY SAD BOAST... You must be Am3ric4n.
