@xuto2693 well the reality is the fact that the capitalist system only benefited the few and the so called positives that people had from capitalism were from at the expense of other countries which were suffering from imperialism and former colonialism i.e the people in the US and European countries used globalisation as a way for their companies to be placed on foreign nations where they will have their monopoly over the natural resources of those nations and if those nations fight back in this case the global south you get the cartel and right wing puppets from those respective countries who basically loot their own country and its people and live in the west, westerners have lived their lives thinking their system is perfect and works yet never questioned how they get resources in the first place and how much do they get and whether there's a limit to how much they can earn, you get these multi-billion dollar oligarchs which some of them ironically were ordinary people who sometimes don't even know how to spend their money when they grew old or if their offsprings and future generations even managed that wealth or blew it all up on materialistic pleasure, there's also the fact that western culture overall does not look on a scientific understanding and basis for what's right and doesn't seek to improve its culture, look at those auctions and how people buy up things which are extremely expensive but have no actual value to its use and only is present as to showcase their egos something that even we ordinary people have at some point like owning something which has no materialistic value but only is expensive in name sake and some people held onto it as to even risk their own assets financially and social relations being ruined due to debts or other things, it's this reckless spending on things and demand which we continually ask for which we do not have any proper understanding of whether it's required or not or even in modern culture the fact that we only selectively think about one thing while not bothering with the other or finding any relations to how the issue could b solved is why those who are privileged aren't taught to be humble and have a proper understanding of whats is required and what isn't, we should first look to improve ourselves first instead of improving the system which is an innate fault of our own way of life, any country can work under a system correctly if they are provided with enough ample resources, manpower and time to understand implementation and remaining skeptical, but modern times have demanded the need of a few benefits the many which is itself inherently flawed as the many will fight back and they are surely doing, even from a corporatist standpoint the practitioner would not think to cause conflict on its own consumer base, and capitalism also encourages unethical practices on putting a price tag on things even on people like with the healthcare system which is notorious on this one, capitalism is a system which is designed for the needs of the people in the sense of their materialistic needs and pleasure and not like from a survivalistic needs i.e to stay alive, under a capitalist system you could own anything as long as you got enough money but also the reality is many people buy things which on the long run do not benefit i.e owning a sports car not considering the maintenance and demand to buy newer version which also planned obsolescence comes into play i.e reducing the products functionality which if done without obsolescence would have been miles better than just distributing nerfed versions of the product, it's also noted that compared to capitalism which has the resources distribution in the hands of the people who have the potential to become an oligarch and not have affiliations to the state, communism has the wealth distribution under a single company i.e the state which eliminates other people who try to gain power which could be seen as a good thing depending upon subjectivity i.e whether other people can have a monopoly over the rest or everyone to be under the same monopoly under the state which people or other oligarchs are at the complete mercy of the state, the issue is the fact that people rather prefer having an opportunity to have a monopoly over others or remain independent i.e stay rich and not be touched by the state, people got to look from a individualistic perspective and in this case a person who seeks to be rich could have the potential to help or ruin other peoples lives, same thing with the state which the people running it can decide whether to help their people or hoard all that wealth for themselves, the reality is that if you take into account all the people in this world i.e nearly 8 billion it would not be enough for all the people in the world to have the same average life i.e middle class and some will have to fall under poverty for the others to survive especially when you take into account how we use resources and what we use it for and also the fact that many will want to live the same lavish lifestyle as others, the issue is the fact that we in modern times are still scientifically deprived and could have achieved much more if the imperialistic in the past decided to actually set aside their differences and actually look to help develop poor nations scientifically and technologically instead of having this disparity where the poor breed like rats understandably to survive, the reality is that conflicts make money as the balance of power and control that people have off their resources gets shifted and in that orderly chaos oligarchs find the opportunity to slowly surplus all that wealth, capitalism also has ties with western culture overall and how they live their lives and many of our lifestyles still haven't changed from the way we lived half a decade, yes technology is developed but still the overall lifestyle is largely the same and this stagnancy is only killing the west and also dragging the rest of the world and the same system which never was revised or even thought of adding some socialist elements which would benefit the people and in turn them is never implemented, it is obvious that in any system we people will have leader whom we choose to oversee as people can't be like the wild west i.e every person on their own and the people are at the mercy of their leaders whether they choose to do good or bad and benefit themselves

@professorcheckmate well that's where the issue of your opinion has been around, the fact that you claim one system is bad while the other is lesser bad is just biased sorry, socialism hasn't worked in a country due to the fact that any country implementing such systems will lead to chaos not due to them being failures and more about the fact that people just can't see a successful system being applied, your making this all about being anti socialistic despite the fact i never even mentioning anything about socialism being bad, my point is that both systems needs to be understood and instead of just considering socialism as bad and not implementing any system at all maybe try to understand why people think socialism has benefits which weren't explored enough due to the fact that countries following such systems were often sanctioned by the west which directly pose a challenge to its capitalist ideas, I'm sorry but I'm not going to remain biased here and like with any system that requires criticisms doesn't mean they should be just taken in as a failure, especially when these systems were never applied on a country which has the sufficient economic wealth and technologically developed like the US was, Soviet Union failed in this due to the amounts of corruption that ensued which directly challenged the oligarchy system that it had in the past i.e the Tsarists who still had some wealth and contacts with Europe in the late 18th century, i seen enough criticisms about socialism which doesn't explain the flaws of it properly and all i get answers are they failed despite the fact that countries like Cuba were already considered a terrorist nation by the US even before communism was introduced there, the cold war was just the west using communism as a pretext to carry out and gain hegemony over the global market and they have been successful and all i see are comments like yours which doesn't offer any basis without western bias, there are already new hybridized system which is applied in Russia with its state resources being nationalized unlike the US which doesn't allow any government control and left entirely on private companies which make billions off fracking and various other unethical practices, you do make a point of how a socialist system is very vulnerable to corruption and it is obvious why as the wealth distribution isn't something that corporatists would prefer to be equally distributed, please don't confuse me with being capitalist as it has done enough damages already with various countries like South Korea with corporatists fueling the debt crisis among the youths or the countries from Global South and Africa in the past which had been run by private oil corporations like Shell or Exxon which had subsidized the oil from these nations leaving the government of those nations with almost lower resources for people to sustain, socialist countries like the Soviet Union were doomed from the start especially with leaders who recklessly carried on those ideals on sectors which were used to monarchy based understanding like Britain was in the past and also with the fact that there was a massive cold war which the west wanted to prevent any form of labour unions which actually looked to get rid of concentration of power into a few hands with all these factors the USSR was bound to fail, ironically the west in the 50s had better lifestyles which obviously was from the spoils of war created on foreign countries after the aftermath left by the British Empire and even if the systems were capitalist still allowed people sufficient resources as the wealth supply was significantly larger from cheap labour from foreign countries, and those times are now gone especially with the Empire not having enough monopoly now that foreign countries have nationalised their resources, modern times are more based on hybridized systems which take in different aspects of each system and no matter which system is applied any system even capitalism or communism will be bound to fail if they do not have enough connections with the rest of the world in terms of technology or resources and now those failures are used as a pretext for people to base a system as a failure instead of seeing which aspects of those systems would work for the people
