And if Israel did nothing against Hamas then they would keep killing people. Israel has no choice but to attack strategic targets owned by Hamas and Islamic Jihad. And if they use Gazans as human shields, then Israel may abort the strike, or strike in a reduced fashion, such as via warning, or strike anyways. All are justified countermeasures.
