A reasonable explanation. I am sure thats not the full extent of it, but part of it might well be.

Do you resent a puppy for crapping on the floor? It cant help doing whats in its nature. Same with women. And men for that matter. Total indifference is the answer for those interactions.
4
Positively gargatuan. A behemoth. A leviathan indeed.
4
@lordveteran9126 I appreciate your passion, but I am the designated party pooper realist.... As I said, all avalible data tracks with my numbers. I got many tens of examples from all times in all places, sadly. Reasons why are numerous as well...
4
@matthewmosier8439 Then let me give you this advice on top: They do know what they want, so them not knowing isnt strictly true. It just hasnt got anything to do with what they say they want, and never did. In many instances its just a test, and going along means failure. Hence the despising.

Funny how all those things are pretty much from the 1950s. Or at least popularized then. Including the 67 chevy (if you know, you know). Pretty stark example of how its been downhill since then?
4
@bobharmes343 "The french resistance wont fight the germans honorably, what cowards!"
3
@mothbreeder641 Surely its a lot older than that, to the dawn of the recording industry, more or less?
3
"Luxury vampires" etc. Good times.
3
@onionfarmer3044 Yes, I absolutely understand it, I am pretty familiar with evolutionary psychology and know that its even ingrained in our genes. You needed a strong tribe were everyone pulls the same way to face threats, be it by nature itself or other humans. So you are indeed correct. It still doesnt make me a big fan of the phenomena though, when it manifests itself like the OP above.
3
Effectively no one, as a percantage of the total. Yes, gas usage is the majority in lots of european countries. But you forget sweden got it even worse, since its relying heavily on electricity for heating among other thing, the price of which has gone up about 10 times in the last year.
3
Yeah, thats sad, but what of it? That it was in Hungary, compared to a more leftist western country? Because except for that, its happened in all of the western world for many many years now.
3
It really depends on who is leaving though. Sometimes its better to concentrate people than being spread out and cut down. And vice versa of course, it all depends on what the "battle" is like.
3
Sorry to say but the story about Callums mom the way he tells it really does make it seem like shes the stereotypical airheaded woman. The one who should never have any influence on what goes on in the family because of giving no thought to what mindlessly following trends might lead to in the end, just because of gaining a few social standing points. Lemmings over a cliff...
3
@megajatt123 Nope, I simply replied to the defintion the opening post wanted to give them, and the snags that would entail. Perfectly logical.
3
The US is well on the way to having effectively the same thing, sadly.
3
As a fellow Swede, we shall see... Not holding my breath for anything substantial to come of this, sadly..
3
@astrovarius543 Mandatory to pay the licence is obviously not a joke, or if it is, its a bad one. Several countries have it. But I am pretty darn certain UK would go the same way if enough people cancelled their licence. Easy enough for the powers that be to make it 100% taxpayer funded.
3
@David-ix9fw You guys are cute if you think cancelling the licence will do anything to the funding of the BBC. I feel pretty darn confident it would just get 100% taxpayer funding, in which case their budget would be the same, or higher, and you would still pay for it. Several countries have gone this way, I see no reason UK would be different.
3
Maybe "we" dont know war and what it takes, but I certainly do. Anyone who has studied human nature without bias do, even europeans. Of course, you certainly got a point in that there are very few of us in northern europe, as a percentage. Or is that really the case...? Maybe it isnt, and the ones in charge just conveniently forget, because it suits their agenda to do so... When it comes to the average person, I would wager that this seeming lack of knowledge is only less than skin deep, and the beast within could potentially easily be brought out in a dire situation.
3
20:10 The conservative ministers did send it to their superiors. The answer from WEF came back "NO", sadly.
3
@swaythegod5812 Well, they got the name so its not wrong calling them that. If you feel strongly about it, I guess you should propose and lobby for them to change their name, be it by themselves, or in the usage by the public.
3
@UserBeenBanned Its almost impossible to quantify what "taking advantage" means. Depending in what area and who you ask, you will get almost as many answers. A lot of people would like others to be "put down" for uttering the wrong words. As of now, there are only the democratically agreed upon laws. It seems like they are follwing said laws just fine? So yes, why not. Seems reasonable.
2
@TheDrizzle404 Well, since most humans are pretty much amoral except for outside stimuli, not really so far, sadly
2
@mothbreeder641 Well I thought the earlier ones were made in the same mold/marketed the same way, more or less. Werent they?
2
Almost certainly there is, though the "stronghold" of the sub-culture seem to be rural Sweden, it is seemingly still very popular in most of the rural regions of the Nordic countries.
2
Mentally a teenager at most, all evidence would seem to indicate. Very strange at his age. Hes been in the army for years for gods sake. Oversheltered in the extreme or maybe he has some kind of cognitive disability?
2
@sadwingsraging3044 What? You must have misunderstood something.
2
Monkeys and typewriters and all that, but he manages. Impressive, as you say.
2
Yep he should have.. If effectively all of his crew would not only refuse to fight, but most of them say the Borg is a good thing. This is where we are at. The rot is too deep, the programming of the public too severe. Cant even get people to think outside the two party paradigm in any numbers for gods sake. An action that would cost them literally nothing, socially or financially. Put a piece of paper in a box on a certain day every few years..... but even thats too hard. As a wise man said: Treating addicts 101: Cant save those that dont want to be saved. Good luck, I am out.
2
Having any potentially dangerous animal (potentially as in capable of doing severe physical harm) in a enviroment with other people seems like a mistake to me. Difference to knives, cars and guns that can do even greater harm is there is only one person 100% responsible. No one can guarantee perfect control in all situations of a third party, animal or human.
2
@KyriosHeptagrammaton Yep, exactly. None of them should be kept in anything resembling an urban area. Countryside with farms only. And that mostly seem to be the case, I have rarely seen people with Elks on a leash in my local park? Dogs seem to be the most common exception, for some reason?
2
@KyriosHeptagrammaton Thats just fine by me, have whatever animal you like on a fenced/closed off farm. Your property. I dont have anything against dogs at all, but I stand firm in my belief the city is rarely a place where they can thrive as they should. Whatever one thinks of cities, especially big ones, in all reasonable practice they are exclusively meant and constructed for humans and human needs after all (though it could be argued they are not good places for humans as well). Keeping animals cooped up and forced to interact on outside walks with stuff/people they dont like or cant understand isnt beneficial to anybody. Just stressful for them. Cheers mate.
2
@nieuwscontext9911 Very nicely put.
2
@OrDuneStudios Read the opening post, I replied to that.
2
@lokithecat7225 Considering the video and the OPs wording, I got the impression he meant people already incarcerated?
2
I would have loved to see Callum present during the first 10 minutes if this video, and watched his pained face expressions. Maybe a guest appearance for next time?
2
@cyberherbalist Hi, I checked it out before I typed my previous reply and the synopsis seem to fit well enough, but thanks anyway. Just a heads up, any post with a link in it will be removed or blocked by youtube, yours is only visible in my notifications, not in the comment field.
2
Its beacuase he thinks he will earn more money that way. Its that simple.
2
TLDR: Old fogey thinks "Harsh language" is what got us here. Of all the delusional takes, this one ranks near the top. Even better is that he thinks "an apology" (for what, exactly?) Is going to make anything different. Not to be too hard on him, but always turning the other cheek is a losing strategy against authoritarian revolutionaries.... if he doesnt understand that, I have to question his mental state. Sleep it off, Peter..
2
Its a PR move giving it a "name" to make it more "personal". In sweden, there isnt anyone with influence questioning socialised healthcare, hence no need to market it. Most swedes cant begin to imagine anything else. For Swedish parallells, look at Systembolaget or SVT and their tax funded ads to justify their own existence.
2
@eodyn7 "If anyone tries anything"... Multiple people in power has already tried lots of things, and its currently an ongoing process. What now?
2
Well "speculations" in the same realm as "Gravity might exist" to be fair. I.e. the only caveats needed to be given about it not being 100% certain, were for legal reasons.
2
I am sure this scottish guy is a nice fellow, but, including the other videos he has featured in, I can already count 3-4 times he has parroted blatant falsehoods. He is probably doing it by mistake but please tell him to check his sources better, your podcast deserve to be held to a higher standard than MSM In this regard.
2
It likely is the worst though, in my estimation.
2
Already tried where I live. There are some problems with it, unfortunately. All in all, it might still be an improvement though.
2
"Overstated". Sorry, I have seen this fault become more prevalent over time and its a pet peeve. Lets try to turn the trend around.
2
@Born_Stellar Nothing against you, but would really like to hear the reasoning of the OP on the questions I asked. In any case, you are correct, but solution is a pipe dream. The character O'Brien from Orwells "1984" is correct, the ordinary people will never rise up in meaningful numbers/hold their leaders accountable. Just not in their nature. So a better/more realistic solution is needed or another form or rule entirely.
2
@TheMasonator777 I believe you have misread my post some, considering your reply. You will also find a lot of people in the comments to these videos that genuinly believe that "science" = obedience to any sort of majority opinion or dogma.
2
Well the cause is obvious to most people if they can think freely. The remedy is equally as obvious. These are modern problems, so it stands to reason that looking back may hold the answer.
