stock market just hit an all time high
1
we just hit 4.9% gdp growth, median real wealth rose a record 37% since 2019, unemployment near record lows, a record 1 in 7 families now having a small business, and wealth inequality is at the lowest level since 2008. Yes, the grass was a lot greener

You're going through nothing like this
1
Developing nations tend to be super dependent on imports. And in order to import stuff, you need to pay in the currency of the country you're buying from. The only way for Argentina to get the foreign currency they need to pay for the imports is to print massive amounts of their own currency and exchange it for the currency of the nation they're buying from, this causes massive downward pressure on the value of their currency
1
@2011blueman They are considered a developing country due to their economic weakness and lack of monetary sovereignty. Simply selling more than you buy does not make you a developed country. Argentina has to limit what it buys from other countries for the reasons i mentioned, it's simply too difficult to get the foreign currency reserves necessary to import things
1
@2011blueman Do you know what a trade surplus is?
1
@2011blueman what's your definition of it?
1
And?
1
yes
1
Biden and ossoff pulled it off without black face
1
Did they even mention ids in the vid? They’re talking about getting rid of 24 hour voting and drive in voting
1
@babynblue It's not ignorance. The US is very different to Argentina because America finances it's spending using debt in its own currency.
1
@babynblue If by corruption you mean taking money from corporations to do their bidding, then republicans are far more corrupt
1
@steviebaby59 Maybe the key to their decision was that they didn't want to vote for a fraud who conned the working class and did nothing but enrich his rich friends while in office? We just hit 4.9% gdp growth, median real wealth rose a record 37% since 2019, unemployment near record lows, a record 1 in 7 families now having a small business, and wealth inequality is at the lowest level since 2008. So clearly they made the right choice
1
Jojos Mom what are you talking about?
1
it's the leftist governments fault Argentina defaulted in foreign currency denominated debt
1
Making it harder to vote for citizens isn’t their job
1
Fun fact the first felony disenfranchisement laws in Georgia were passed the year after black men were given the right to vote
1
we just hit 4.9% gdp growth, median real wealth rose a record 37% since 2019, unemployment near record lows, a record 1 in 7 families now having a small business, and wealth inequality is at the lowest level since 2008. So yes
1
Dems care
1
We were in the middle of the worst recession since the great depression
1
Repubs care about covid now? Isn’t it a hoax?
1
@Devyn_LV like repubs did in Oregon
1
nope
1
lol
1
Japan is stagnating because they keep increasing the consumption tax

1
at what? jobs booming, spending power up, infrastructure getting revitalized, and growth is already back to the pre-pandemic trend after Trump's massive covid recession

The people didn’t vote for the bill. And let’s not pretend most of those republicans aren’t there though gerrymandering
1
we just reached 4.9% gdp growth, i never expected a Biden Boom when i voted for him
1
interest rate won't work, their inflation is mainly imported
1
@feelinghealingfrequences7179 deregulation of the commodities market continues to destroy
1
Clinton deregulating tbe commodities market is one of the worst things any president has done. Its no exaggeration that it has been partially responsible for some of the worst things to happen since 2000, from the rise of ISIS, to the libya war and collapse of South American countries. And from a domestic point of view the financialization
1
Have you heard of a little thing called gerrymandering?
1
@Craig2342 that doesn’t mean they can’t gerrymander to give themselves greater control. The last election in Texas was the closest in over 2 decades, gerrymandering can really help you get over the line when it’s that close
1
@Craig2342 Gerrymandering and voter suppression lead you to believe that. Are you saying you’re in favor if scrapping the filibuster?
1
@Craig2342 gerrymandering got them several more state wide seats than they would other wise have gotten. Voter suppression reduced the number of voters who cast a vote. Are you apposed to the filibuster?

@Joskemom Wages absolutely are keeping up with inflation, real wages are up, meaning purchasing power is actually up since the pandemic. Buying a house has been really difficult long before Biden. Crime started rising in 2020 under Trump, and has since fallen. The Ukraine war is thanks to "wokeness" 😅 Seriously how old are you? Cleary the money released to iran in exchange for US prisinors hadn't gotten to Iran yet since the US can re-freeze those assets. Frankly all the money going to isrel is causing all the fire in the middle east. Biden has been exceptional in pretty much every metric you can judge a president by, median real wealth rose a record 37% since 2019, unemployment near record lows, a record 1 in 7 families now having a small business, and wealth inequality is at the lowest level since 2008. Yes, people are much better off
1
spending more than you have is not a problem if you finance it with debt in your own currency. You take up debt in someone else's currency like the Argentinians did, you're toast
1
hell yeah
1
Breaking quorum is a well established tool. It’s not subverting demlcracy. The bill they’re fighting is doing that
1
You should worry more about job losses as a result of fighting inflation than inflation
1
he's only half wrong. Inflation is caused by many things in the US
1
How?
