lol. You are a wheel missing a few spokes, huh?
4
It is. France is also the most nuclear armed in Europe. They have more nukes than China and the UK. They learned in WWII how much it sucks to lose. Nuclear wepaons ensures that they won't suffer the same fate again. DPRK knows they need it to protect themselves.
4
I imagine it would have to necessitate state action by forcing exports to be bought with this new currency. They could control the value of that currency free from market forces. Those countries could make the USA and EU pay more than what they have been which is nothing. The transnational corporations would have no way to circumvent it without illegal smuggling. The latin countries that participate fully could dictate the value of that commodity as long as they pay in their currency and not USD or EUR. As an example, Russia started forcing oil exports to be paid in rubles and their gold standard gave them total control of the value of their currency and therefore, the gas/oil they sell to the EU and China. This allowed them to cut their ally China a good deal, and pumping a large amount of cash out of European enemies.

Unverified slur.
3
Lol. Yeah right.
3
I bet if you swapped Ukraine with Taiwan, the numbers would reverse on this.
3
Unfortunately, Putin fell for the old "appeasement" strategy with those Minsk Agreements like the UK did with the Germans. Its a terrible mistake to make deals with those who have no shame about breaking them.
3
Oil has a presence everywhere to a certain extent. What’s your point?
3
To be honest, it was always an illusion. We westerners never actually believed in that.
3
You actually don’t need to change the metaphor. Bald Eagles are actually mostly scavengers, just like vultures.
3
@fedexpress14 Here is the problem: We're not just blockading them. Anyone who does business with them is also subjected to permabans to American market access. If a country opens trade with them, they get banned from working with the USA. So Cuba really can only trade with Iran and DPRK. That is why the rise of Russia and China as an economic force is very important. Because countries need different options than the unipolar USA/EU cartel economic order.
3
They do. China gives Cuba interest free loans and has forgiven most of them without getting money back.
3
They have extremely helpful programs for ethnic minorities in China. China is pretty "woke." Whatever that means anyways.
3
I agree with you. It’s about the global south finding new independence from Western capitalist imperialism. Some of these countries are socialist, some are nationalist capitalist. But they are all rejecting American domination.
3
Mexico should start working with Russia and China for improving their military and training so in 5-10 years they’ll be a military competitor with the USA. Maybe even a low key nuclear armament program.
3
Privatize the profits, socialize the losses.
3
Just goes to show, just cause someone is a different political ideology than you, doesn't mean they can't kick your ass.
3
Honestly, If I was Indian, I'd want my country to insist on neutrality. Double down on the non-aligned movement.
3
Me too. But saying "No homo" makes it kind of homo.
2
I do believe its meaningless bluster. The USA doesn't have the stability needed to push this. People were angry about 5,000 US deaths in Iraq. What happens in a war against China, where we'll like have to throw millions of lives, likely pointlessly? The general even tells them, "Consider your personal affairs." He means, "You're going to die at the hands of the PLA."
2
Jackson's video is basically just ad hominem and strawmanning Ben. Its not really worth the time to respond. He literally mocks Ben for living in Nicaragua and that makes him a fake leftist. Like WTF? Nicaragua is fake left central I guess.
2
All the US/Euro China doomerism was and is projection. Just like saying their economy was dependent on US or European trade. Its all western colonial ego.
2
Not contradictory. If you are in the power group, then you are just solidifying your interests. He wants to join that group.
2
8:04 You can so easily tell he just pulled this "fact" straight out of his ass.
2
True, jimmy has similar issues too though.
2
If you were ever a president, you belong in prison. Or dead.
2
@beepboop1044 That is a very real possibility as well.
2
The USA is in a far worse position. Declining birth rates, massively increased infant and maternal mortality rates, a failing economy, increasing poverty. China has an aging baby boomer population, not an fundamental economic death spiral.
2
He only references his own articles to give more information on the subject he mentioned. If you follow it, you'll find articles that aren't from his outlet.
2
@pthomasgarcia I agree with you. Moralism has little power and convinces few. Economics has lots.
2
Your taxes are already paying to losses. Why not get to profits back?
2
Gold is useful in a macroeconomic sense where you can peg a currency value to gold. It works because Gold supply can be made stagnant and a state can dictate what the price of gold is. Supply and demand can be centrally managed. It's one of the systems that FDR used to get the USA out of the depression. For individuals, it's still a speculative market. You may as well buy blue chip stock. They generally have way better returns.
2
I just don't get the strategy. We know what Conservative liberals like Trump do when in power: antagonize China and Russia leading to wars in Ukraine and Taiwanese straight tensions and enforce austerity at home. And they aren't dumb. They know when a socialist is trying to opportunistically use them, and they will discard you when they are done using you.
2
Yo, as an American, I’m gonna be honest. You probably shouldn’t trust any of us.
2
Lol. Crypto is backed by fiat.
2
Who said someone was forced to date a transgender person?
2
Funny thing is, the cash only said “In God We Trust” starting in 1957.
2
What westerners don't understand is that the global south doesn't have the luxury of having "principled stands." They need Russian energy and Chinese goods. The USA isn't going to give that all for free. They want them to have austerity and unmanageable debt. Just like their own citizens in their borders.
2
@DailyBeatings That is not fair. The SAA is a very professional, well-organized force. They weren't "Guys in Sandals."
2
@DailyBeatings Oh I see. That makes more sense.
2
I think he went to Dore because he wanted a quick win. Michael Hudson should have been on the call. He would have been destroyed by him.
2
He’s not going to change. I bet he’ll stop talking about Russia and move on to India.
2
They need high gas prices to survive. If it gets too low, the major oil companies can just wait em out.
2
@logicbomb2614 Shows how little you know. Ethnic minorities were exempted from that policy. Those people could have as many kids as they wanted.
2
So is Tucker an ideologically motivated fool based on hating a people for who they are? or a greedy asshole who will say anything for a dollar? Your argument would point for the latter. And both are to be untrusted and mocked.
1
Maybe you’re the problem.

@fun_ghoul Look if being an American leftist means being an Andrew Tate apologist, like he's some modern-day Chiang Kaishek (who Mao never acted as an apologist for), count me the fuck out. Leftism is truly dead here.
1
@Layde36 He really has a boner for Andrew Tate. A shock jock nobody. Just because he says things he agrees with sometimes. That is not the basis for a fruitful political alliance. We know this is a bad alliance because we know what people like MTG, Trump, and their ilk do when they have power: The same thing. They antagonize Russia and China, arm the Ukrainian neo-nazi paramilitaries, and engage in the same arm sales as the democrats. I think some of the patsoc people saw the January 6th event and thought: "Hey, these people are willing to attack and fight. I should get them on my side." It's very much a "Beer Hall Putsch" strategy. I was tempted by it too, but I know it won't work, and even if it did, the people in power are likely to turn hard on you.

@davidlazarus67 Nvidia and Apple will outlast SpaceX. Nvidia is still very competitive and obviously really wants to sell to China. Apple has affordable options now. SpaceX is about to default its Artemis II timeline and NASA has extremely punitive measures for failure to deliver and they may break SpaceX.
1
To be fair to them, the masses only really know what is being told to them. The media over exaggerates Iran’s issues and ignores Saudi Arabia’s. The media are only paying attention to SA now that they aren’t playing ball with the USA as much. Marx said “religion is the opiate of the masses.” In the 21st century, media is the opiate of the masses.
