It can't be forgotten that the USA built much of it's wealth in the 20th century on the ashes of a destroyed Europe. Another cycle of a destroyed Europe would be a massive capital infusion to US Imperialism.
1
The important thing about tying your money to a commodity like gold is that the commodity is centrally managed. When the USA had the gold standard, private gold ownership was made illegal for a large part of its history. And the state had absolute control of the value of gold. Basically, commodity based currencies have power, because the state controls its value and controls its price.
1
They did these things to unfuck what deregulations pushed by free market ideologues did to the economy. Free market caused it and the government gave bailouts to prevent a second depression.
1
Because they have been used to organize terrorist attacks in western China. They demanded that these companies police that. They said "Muh freeze peach." So China banned them.
1
No. Because he isn’t really a anti-imperialist.
1
It relies on its member states to enforce its laws. It's arms are their arms. But the country has to decide to enforce it, many don't.
1
@multiplierfx6429 Nothing solves debt like hyperinflation I guess.
1
@Deebz270 Okay good. It's not just me.
1
@tuckerbugeater Why?
1
Which is hilarious because they complain that BYD is subsidized by China. While Tesla is subsidized by the US government and would go out of business without it. Its full hypocrisy.
1
I don’t blame Snoop. He’s just a man who did a job.
1
You really say Mecksian? LOLOLOL.
1
I heard she cured cancer, controls the weather, and wrote the movie Glitter.
1
Hey buddy, I think you opened the wrong door. CNN is that way.
1
Go home and try to make Venezuela different then. I don’t want you in my country.
1
I think Jimmy means well. But the fact of the matter is the man isn’t that smart. He is always putting his foot in his mouth.
1
@dfwherbie8814 Ah shut up. I don't care if your wife is Xi Jingping, Your conservative dogma is giving me the pip. If removing religion gets my country freedom from extreme poverty, ethnic abuse, terrorism and gun violence, and some actual freedom like in China, your religion is dog meat, pal.
1
Unlike in Nevada, who will never get their money back, China actually reserves the right to seize their Gigafactory there if no payments are made.
1
This did not start on Biden's watch. This started many decades ago. BRI was founded in 2001 and this isn't even the first attempt at de-dollarization.
1
I think they just had the idea: Red + Star equals China. I think what stands out is the black fascist arms cutting it off. The Nazis were very much into using black to represent themselves. And the shoe fits I'd say.
1
@kinky_Z Actually, this is most likely a net positive for American citizens. The amount of taxes brought in on this will probably be used to finance a tax break when the U.S. government needs a W under their belt. The high gas prices here are to bailout the fracking companies. With this, they could also use this cash to tank the cost of gas when it gets to be too extreme since they can suck the life out of the Eurozone instead.
1
@AlekEnpain-fg7wx Begone, baby killer.
1
Wow, could you imagine a Sino-Japanese or Russian-German-French entente? It sounds so far-fetched now.
1
@portalarizona Well I say welcome, brother/sister.
1
Norton is not saying China is atheist. He’s saying that is how Americans perceive it. Which is totally true. Our propaganda for hundreds of years has said: Communism and Socialism equals godless and atheist. This is inflammatory rhetoric because many Americans are religious and religious organizations hold a lot of power in US government.
1
He is stupider than we could possibly imagine. His entire China vs Russia ideology was obviously false, and by interviewing Putin, he completely exposed how close Russia and China actually are.
1
PSA to leftists: Not everyone you disagree with is a CIA or Mockingbird plant. We blame too much of our failures and issues on that.
1
We do. It’s expensive to tap in and lithium is limited. The more we take from others the better the USA will be in the future.
1
@Zodroo_Tint You mean Russian revolutionaries murdered that brutal Euro sellout. Gotcha.
1
American people don’t know shit. TC could very well be a CIA asset.
1
Why is GER my favorite outlet for news? Because Ben and co are really great at using the mainstream news words against them. They can pick out the inconsistency and contradictions and shine a light on what really happened.
1
They wouldn't. They know it would just be a tax on their own people. More likely if things get too bad, they'll just ban those companies, seize their assets and re-organize them locally. The pain those companies would feel may almost cause a capital riot at home for the USA.
1
Why they got so hostile all of a sudden? They make it sound like they are the most oppressed people on the planet.
1
I think COVID broke him.
1
He was doping. Performance enhancing drugs.
1
@ELMOcall911 Those cheeky ass Ottomans.
1
@boi9842 I mean it is broke, but it doesn't matter because the imperialist system it uses makes that an irrelevant fact.
1
Ron Paul: The most liberal liberal that ever liberaled liberals.
1
I always say you get what you deserve. Inaction or poor decisions from the American people get poor results.
1
Hell even some liberals would have been way better choices.
1
Who gives a fuck about who you sub to? You people need to stop saying that shit. Makes you look like a narc.
1
You watch way too much TV.
1
I don't see it happening while the EU exists in it's current state. The EU should be scrapped in favor of a new triple entente of Germany, France, and a willing eastern European country. They could set clearly defined borders with Russia and come to an agreement on what that looks like. Even with countries that are not joined. Repeat the process with the UK for the western side. Cut the USA out of any decisions.
1
You don't change the system. The system changes you.
1
@carldrogo9492 Murder of Iranian generals, wartime like propaganda attacks on China, Syria bombings, arming of Ukrainian fascists. Increased sanctions and propaganda attacks on Russia. I'm sorry, did we see the same guy? He was pretty warmongering to me.
1
As far as I see, he only criticised him. He didn't advocate violence against him or his family.
1
@nanit8190 Oh. Well, that sucks. I don't have twitter so I didn't see that. I don't approve of that. I have my criticisms of Dugin, but I wouldn't call him a fascist. And in no way did he deserve to have his daughter murdered, or have violence inflicted on him. At least Ben doesn't approve of that?
1
Regime change and War on Terror go hand in hand. My suspicion about Gabbard is that she is not anti-regime change, but is unhappy that it is so open and known. I suspect a lot of her politics is motivated by anti-Islam sentiment.
1
@TheBitterPill No one is suggesting not fighting Islamic terror. Especially American and Saudi supported terrorists like ISIS. Doesn't mean I'm going to support Hindu extremists calling for Muslim genocide like Gabbard does.
1
Big difference.
